The B&B is close to the North Gate, so it was pretty easy to find. The owner even picked me up from Pingyao Ancient City Station late at night, which I really appreciated – it made my travel experience so much better. They carefully explained the locations of attractions and gave me a map. When I left, they even gave me some vinegar as a gift; they're incredibly warm and welcoming. Seriously, if you're coming to Pingyao, you should definitely stay here, haha! It's safe, clean, and the facilities are all there. For longer stays, they even proactively clean your room. The decor has a local flair too – who wouldn't want to try sleeping on a traditional heated 'kang' bed without any fuss? Thanks for everything, I'll definitely stay here again next time. Loved it, loved it!

I've been to Xinzhou Ancient City a few times, and I genuinely feel that Futian Yuhua Hotel is the absolute best hotel here. The rooms are spotless, they deliver fresh fruit daily, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The private hot spring bath experience was fantastic, and there was a constant supply of complimentary drinks every day. From the moment you step through the main entrance, you notice the incredible attention to detail – it's clear the owner has excellent taste. From the moment I called about parking, a butler was already waiting at the entrance. The service was warm and thoughtful. When leaving, they even reminded me to take a complimentary bottle of water and offered tissues, showing how much they genuinely care for their guests. On the day of check-in, I couldn't figure out the stopper for the hot spring pool, but after a quick call, someone came to help within less than a minute. I'll definitely be bringing my family back to stay here again in the future and will highly recommend it to my friends.

Awesome! 👍🏻 We arrived late by high-speed train, and the owner drove directly to the station to pick us up. All the restaurants in the ancient city were closed, so the owner lent us his electric tricycle to go eat outside the city. Riding that little vehicle through the ancient city at night was truly a special experience, haha. As for the room, it had everything we needed, and the underfloor heating kept it very warm. The large kang bed was quite unique, and even the mouthwash cups were disposable. Since it was the off-season, the owner even upgraded our room. Although the wallpaper was a bit peeling, it didn't affect our stay at all. Moreover, right outside the inn is the owner's own travel photography studio. I'm so glad I didn't book one of those trendy shops recommended online in advance. The photo shoot here was absolutely fantastic 💖. The makeup artist was very gentle and recommended suitable hairstyles and makeup based on my face shape. I loved the photos, and there was absolutely no pressure during the selection process – completely voluntary. A perfect ancient city experience, I'll definitely recommend it to my friends!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property, which is conveniently located in the heart of Pingyao, right next to the entrance to the walking streets. The staff was extremely kind and even allowed us an early check-in. The round-trip transfer from the train station was also very convenient and perfectly on time. We chose a tatami room and were not disappointed. The mattress was comfortable, and there was even a tea table and plenty of bottled water. They also gave us a small gift when we checked out, which was a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again! One small suggestion for improvement would be allowing the TV language to be changed to English and perhaps installing a chrome cast/apple tv on the TV so international guests could mirror their phones.

The best decision I made on this trip to Datong was staying at this ancient town guesthouse! The location is superb, within walking distance of Huayan Temple, the ancient city wall, and the Prince Dai's Mansion—a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The courtyard is elegant and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the owner is warm and attentive. They offer a choice between pick-up and drop-off service and even provided incredibly useful sightseeing and dining tips. The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local Datong specialties, with a different breakfast every day. I originally booked only one night, but the stay was so comfortable that I extended it for another night. The courtyard is also perfect for taking photos. Highly recommended! It combines the charm of an ancient capital with the warmth of home—a must-stay in Datong! A perfect score!

As a ********* traveler, I encountered check-in restrictions upon my arrival in Taiyuan. Despite being advertised as welcoming tourists from around the world, I faced an issue at a hotel in Taiyuan. The hotel encountered difficulties in processing my Taiwan pass. However, I must commend G hotel for their exceptional support and assistance. They made every effort to resolve the situation promptly and ensure a successful check-in process. I highly recommend this establishment to fellow travelers from Taiwan for its professionalism and accommodating service.

100 yuan price is high, the bedding is clean and soft Soft, warm service, free parking and laundry Service, Gym facilities are complete, Convenient transportation (opposite the subway) Breakfast service: Chinese food and Western food, both local specialty snacks pasta, wontons, wonton noodles, and popular breakfast meals (fried vegetables, Sarah, chicken legs, etc.), restaurant waiters brew freshly ground coffee for guests who like Western food, service one-on-one is as good as entering Starbucks cafe. Room facilities: The layout of the house is very good, the bed is large and soft, and the extra needed house supplies will be sent to the room by the front desk, which greatly improves the privacy of the guests' living. The takeaway is also delivered by the small robot (ordered KFC on Thursday) and feels as comfortable and comfortable as at home. During our road trip, we randomly booked a hotel near the Yongle Palace. As soon as we turned the corner on the way to the hotel, we were greeted by a breathtaking view of the Yellow River, a picturesque scene. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is nestled mid-mountain, facing the water and backed by mountains. It feels secluded and private. There's private parking, the front desk is attentive and comfortable, the housekeepers provide attentive service, and luggage is delivered to your room by electric cart. The rooms are fully equipped, clean, and the bedding is comfortable. Our single-family cottage has its own private pool, which the kids loved. We had dinner à la carte at the hotel, and I loved the large Yellow River carp dish. The kids, who usually don't like fish, were eager to try it. The water view in front of the reception hall in the evening was particularly beautiful, especially during the blues, making it a great photo opportunity. The breakfast was perfectly balanced and well-presented. Upon departure, the housekeeper politely said goodbye and thoughtfully provided some local snacks for the journey. Due to time constraints, we only stayed for one night, so there were many things we didn't experience, such as the children's activity center and swimming pool. It's a perfect place for a family vacation. I like this hotel very much. Next time I come here on vacation, I will book a room with a river view and bring my kids to have a good time for a few days.

I chose Nan She for both of my trips to Datong, spaced about twenty days apart. The first time was by chance, but the second was a deliberate choice, both reflecting my high appreciation for every aspect of Nan She. It's located right beneath the North City Wall of the ancient city, close to Daiwang Mansion and Kuixing Tower. Its proximity to the main road makes getting around very convenient. The entrance to the North City Wall is just a few minutes' walk away, offering a superb spot to watch the sunset over the ancient city. The breakfast at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious. The rooms are spotless, and the bedding is clean; every detail is perfectly executed. The overall service is beyond words – attentive, warm, and thoughtful. Choosing the right accommodation is a crucial part of enhancing the travel experience, and both of my stays here provided an excellent one. Datong is a city you'll want to revisit; the more you get to know it, the more you'll love it. The blend of history and modernity, delicious food, and beautiful scenery offers endless appeal.
