Pet Friendly Hotels in Shaanxi, China

I was recommended by my friend to stay at Novotel Bell Tower. At the Level 2 check in counter we were greeted warmly by Ms. Sharon He Yun (何云). Check in was seamless and service was 5 stars. Sharon offered warm milk to be delivered to our rooms before we turned in and guided us on some good eateries. Definitely helpful in a cold, night winter night as first-timer to Xi'an. The other staff worth mentioning is Ms. Jennifer Guo. She was kind and helpful to young guests and treated my teenage girl with respect and assistance as would any adult guests. Room condition was superb, clean and cosy. Amenities were sufficient. Things you ordered get delivered by robot! Toilet seats has warming function and remote flushing. Location is great, near to lots of eateries and a stone throw away to Hui Min Street (回民街)。 Take a walk to Luo Ma Shi (骡马市）too. Novotel is 45 min away by car to the Teraotta. If you book the local tour remember that the performance is not included in the package. It'll cost about RMB350 extra to watch, but hey, you came all the way here and it was worth it. Overall experience starting from the great staff in Novotel will definitely bring us back to Xi'an and this hotel again.

The hotel is located in a garden area, and the room is relatively spacious. My friend felt that the shampoo products were very suitable for her to use. The hotel also has free laundry and drying services, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. Parking is free in the basement. Just call the front desk to report your license plate number when you go out. There are many restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. Recommend everyone

I chose this hotel because of a single photo, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Usually, pet-friendly hotels tend to have some minor cleanliness issues, and I'm quite prone to allergies. However, once I got to my room, I realized my worries were unfounded; I stayed for three days with absolutely no reactions. Secondly, although the front desk isn't 24-hour, the regularly updated access codes and the incredibly thoughtful butler-style service perfectly address any concerns about safety and service quality in a busy area. I also really liked the food street downstairs – it had everything, was clean, and delicious. I had many conversations with the butler about animals and food; I just enjoyed chatting with her whenever I had a moment. Finally, the cats at the hotel are adorable. Little Ear is the shyest, and Liu Liu is the most affectionate, but personally, I'm most fond of the adorable face of the little butler. If we visit Xi'an again and you're still around, we'll definitely head straight for your hotel without considering anywhere else.

Had a great stay here! There's a back exit that takes you straight into the Big Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are clean, pretty, and spacious with user-friendly smart guest control systems, comfortable beds, and the has separate areas for toilet, shower, and sink which was pretty convenient. The front desk staff, Xiao Rui and Xiao Dong, were super helpful, quick to respond, and helped us find activities to book and other travel tips. The breakfast was also really good with multiple options and Xi'an specialty foods. Our booking also included afternoon tea and dessert soup every day which they delivered whenever we requested it. The room was a bit warm since they have central heating, but they were very accommodating and offered to move us to a different room.

The environment is decent, and the venue is suitable for events and conferences. I even happened to catch a new car launch when I checked in. The room itself is quite spacious, but the furnishings and fixtures feel very dated. Not quite dilapidated, but definitely old-fashioned. The towels, in particular, were frayed and shedding. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it just didn't seem clean, especially the countertop around the bathtub, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down properly and felt very haphazard. Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory. Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB). The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river. For those who prioritize modern facilities and up-to-date amenities, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were exceptional—one employee, in particular, stood out for her dedication and professionalism, while another lady impressed me with her kindness and respect. The hotel itself is excellent: comfortable, clean, and well-located. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. ---

Where do I even start? My time in Xi’an was unforgettable, and staying at Hermitage was a big reason why. Theres an older gentleman welcomed me with a hot bowl of noodles when I arrived in the rain. The next morning, when I brought my laptop down to work during breakfast, he thoughtfully set up the table and made sure I was seated somewhere with good lighting. On my birthday, the manager even surprised me with a cake. Just so many sweet little gestures that made the stay special. One thing to note: the hotel is located in a scenic area. Cars can’t drive all the way in, so you’ll need to walk a bit to reach the hotel. I happened to visit during Golden Week so some roads were blocked off due to crowd so getting in took a bit of rerouting. But honestly, the experience was so worth it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The new branch is really good with clean room, enough space for 4 people. It is near the center and close to train station. It is equipped with towels, kettle, ... To sum up, this is a good hotel and worth the money.

This hotel offers a delightful environment, feeling like a serene painting. The butler service was particularly impressive, providing a personalized, one-on-one experience that truly showed great care. Upon check-in, they not only gave a detailed introduction but also thoughtfully prepared fruit, which made us feel very welcome. Especially on a cold winter day, enjoying a hot spring bath was a truly rare treat. The attentive service from the butlers earned our heartfelt praise.

Facilities: Well-equipped, with high-quality bedding and amenities. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Directly opposite the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' square, just a crosswalk away. The B&B is on the top floor of a building that also houses a BBQ restaurant, Haidilao Hot Pot, and a mall. Downstairs, there are also food stalls. For parking, just follow the Haidilao signs; guests share an elevator with Haidilao and even get a discount there. From the top floor, you can see the lights of 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance in the distance. Service: The owner runs the B&B personally, so any requests can be communicated face-to-face. This place is like a five-star hotel disguised as a B&B – it has the high standards of a hotel combined with the laid-back charm of a guesthouse. When we arrived, an adorable, welcoming cat happily weaved between our legs and even sneaked into our room, begging for pets, which our child absolutely loved. After watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' the owner bought a watermelon and brought us a slice, which was wonderfully refreshing. Knowing we wanted to visit the Terracotta Warriors the next day, the owner also recommended a tour guide. Owner, please convey our gratitude to Guide Ren again on behalf of our family.
