This B&B is located within Luoyi Ancient City. Though the entrance isn't grand, once you step inside, it feels like a hidden gem. It's built in the style of a traditional courtyard house, with a rooftop terrace that offers a close-up view of the Drum Tower. The whole place has such a wonderful vibe. We booked a king-size room with a private balcony, which was quite spacious. The furnishings had an antique charm, and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing and birds chirping was incredibly comforting. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, perfect for recovering after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities were also excellent, with a lovely fragrance. The towels were soft and comfortable, and surprisingly, they even provided a bath mat, which you usually only find in high-end hotels. It made us feel both reassured and pampered – seems like the owner has great taste! 😉 The front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. However, there was one minor issue: the bathroom mirror in the room was a bit impractical. It was quite far from the sink, and there was no magnifying mirror 🪞. As someone who needs to get close to the mirror to put in contact lenses, I found this inconvenient. 😂 Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this B&B! 👍👍👍

I had a wonderful experience at this homestay. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They even assisted by bringing my food delivery directly to my doorstep, which was a very thoughtful touch. On my departure day, they also helped arrange transportation to pick up my luggage and send it to the airport, making my travel much easier and stress-free. The room was clean, the environment was comfortable, and the service truly exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

We had such an amazing stay at the hotel! We had a change in travel plans as our flight got cancelled, so we needed an hotel close to the airport for our long layover. We would choose this hotel again! They provide free shuttle service which is very convenient, as well as lots of amenities to relax after a long flight. everyone at reception was very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is very clean and modern, and the rooms are very spacious. They even provide an hanfu rental service, which i was very excited about since i didn't get the chance to try one yet due to our disrupted travel plans thanks again to all the staff i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Zhengzhou

It is our first time in China - it was a great stay - owner is very helpful - helped us to organise the tickets to Zen Music Festival, and she showed us the attractions in the area, we enjoyed the food - traditional breakfast, we had traditional hot pot for the dinner - great experience, also she made for us in the evening traditional tea (Pu-erh, and green tea) - unforgettable moments. Thank you very much for the hospitality.

The hotel's environment and hygiene are excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was neat and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. The smart Xiao Du assistant was very convenient to control. The front desk lady was enthusiastic and helped me with downloading the invoice online, and even arranged a late-night snack for me – it was so thoughtful!

After much deliberation, I chose Jinyuan Wenfuyuan, and its location is truly superb! It's just a few minutes' walk from Luoyi Old City subway station, and very close to Shizijie and Lijingmen. The area is lively, yet the guesthouse offers a peaceful retreat, so my stay wasn't affected by any noise. As for service, the staff called me in advance and even added me on WeChat to give me directions and share many local recommendations for food and attractions. It was perfect for an introvert like me, as the staff didn't intrude, but daily linen replenishment was always on point, and the room was kept spotless – truly thoughtful! The room environment is genuinely good, with smart voice control throughout, a smart toilet, and excellent soundproofing. This time, because we had a 'special forces' (fast-paced) itinerary, we picked a smaller room. Next time, I'll definitely choose a bigger one, especially since both of us are quite tall. The only minor drawback was that the shower threshold was a bit low, causing water to spill out during showering, though it dried quickly. In terms of price, this guesthouse is truly competitive, given its prime location – it's a real bargain! All in all, I would definitely recommend it to friends and family; the experience was fantastic! Luoyang is beautiful, Jinyuan is great, and I'll be back!

Due to a tight schedule, I couldn't stay then, but the idea of finding a distinctive Hilton hotel to experience had already taken root. Upon returning to Zhumadian, the Hilton Garden Inn Luoyang popped up on my social media feeds. I saw it daily, learning about the brand's tier and style within the Hilton family. There are only a few such hotels nationwide, and the Luoyang one was newly opened. So, I booked it on Ctrip and came to Luoyang to check it out. As soon as I stepped out of the taxi, the doorman practically sprinted over, readily taking both my suitcases and backpack. This warm welcome immediately made me feel at home. Inside the lobby, the Hilton front desk team was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, completing my check-in in just 30 seconds. Now, let's break down the hotel's design style: **Figure 1: The Wall Art** This wall was created by Guo Aihe, a nationally renowned artist from Luoyang. He transformed traditional Tang Sancai (Tang Dynasty tri-color glazed pottery) techniques into a modern art installation. Each small square of glazed painting is hand-fired, with colors primarily in the classic Tang Sancai yellow, green, and blue. When assembled, they form a flowing image resembling the 'Nine-Bend Yellow River,' echoing Luoyang's deep connection to the Yellow River culture. From hand towels to bath towels, bath sheets, and bathrobes, they are all high-thread-count, high-density, and high-GSM, making them incredibly comfortable to use. Despite my heavier build, both the bath towel and bathrobe provided ample coverage. This stay was exceptionally good, and I even learned and grew from the experience at the hotel. I unreservedly give it a 5.0-star rating. My only regret this time was only booking one night on Ctrip. Zhumadian is close to Luoyang, so next time I'll bring my family and book 3-5 nights on Ctrip to fully enjoy a 'micro-vacation' and slow pace at the Hilton Curio Collection Luoyang.
