Pet Friendly Hotels in Guizhou, China

The hotel is a standard five-star hotel. The service attitude of the girl at the front desk was good and the check-in experience was very good. The hotel is very convenient to the city's attractions, including the ancient city, Fengchi Garden, and Foding Temple, which are only a few minutes' walk away. The wetland park can be reached by bus. The air is very comfortable when strolling by the river in the morning. There are also many restaurants around, especially the Liupanshui specialty food Laoguo Street, which is only a few minutes away. Hygiene: Very clean. Traveling with family, the guesthouse is located not far from the main gate of the village, which is also the starting point for exploring the village. It's especially beautiful at night when the lights are on. Outside the village gate is a square, and you can even watch performances from the guesthouse upstairs, perfect if you want to avoid the crowds. There's a small river in front, and the flowers in the courtyard are exceptionally vibrant. The owner also has an adorable 8-month-old dog. The room itself is clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly kind, offering tips on what to do and recommending great food. We had a wonderful trip overall.

I booked a two-night package deal and it was incredible value for money. The hotel's overall service was excellent. The package included breakfast and a double sour fish hotpot meal at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was really extensive, with a great selection of breads, noodle soups, hot and cold dishes, fruit, and steamed dim sum. The hotel is very close to the scenic area, conveniently located between the first and second tourist centers, just over a kilometer away. It's easy to get a taxi or drive there yourself. There are plenty of dining options nearby, with lots of restaurants, snacks, and late-night food. The hotel also has a laundry room, gym, and other recreational facilities on the basement level. Plus, there's a private outdoor pool and a lovely lawn, perfect for a relaxing stroll.

I chose this Mercure for my trip to Anshun, and as part of the HUAZHU Hotels group, the quality is guaranteed. The hotel is newly renovated, and the facilities and hygiene are excellent, making for a comfortable stay. The front desk service was particularly great—warm and attentive, even giving me an extra breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch. The biggest bonus is that it's pet-friendly, so I could bring my furry child along. While the 100 RMB cleaning fee felt a bit high, it was acceptable. Parking was very convenient, with its own independent parking lot, so no need to search for a spot. Overall, I highly recommend it and would consider staying here again next time I visit Anshun.

Service: The staff were all very polite. I visited during the off-season this time, and they even upgraded my room. The room was very spacious. Environment: The surroundings are beautiful. Cleanliness: The wooden house was clean and tidy, bringing back childhood memories. Facilities: It's very close to the parking lot, and parking is free. The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local Tongren-style rice noodles.

Stayed here for two nights in Kaili and overall, I was satisfied. A staff member called me before check-in to confirm the details. The hotel parking is convenient, and the room is spacious. There's a restaurant in the adjacent office building where you can grab a casual meal (the hotel provides a 10% discount coupon). It's also a short taxi ride from the hotel to Xiulitang. The only downsides were that the air conditioning wasn't very effective at cooling and was a bit noisy (even though it wasn't hot during our stay, the room still felt a bit stuffy). Also, the buffet breakfast didn't have many options, and the supply sometimes couldn't keep up. The pastries, in particular, need improvement in taste.

The room and bed were a bit small. However, the room overall was good, with a balcony and a nice view. The staff were very friendly and communicated with me before my arrival. There's a laundry room, and when cars aren't allowed into the ancient city after 2 PM, the hotel uses their small car to help with luggage. Since we were leaving late, we requested a late check-out, and the guesthouse staff readily agreed. It's worth trying.

The hotel's exterior is elegant and suitable for taking photos, but the rooms are just average. The cleanliness is so-so, with some food scraps left by previous guests on the floor in the corners. The overall layout of the rooms is a bit cramped. Because it's a garden-style building, it only has two or three floors and no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage, you have to walk a bit from the hotel lobby to your room, and the path is winding. You can only get to your room by going up the stairs. Another big problem for those who drive is that the parking lot is very small. Even in the off-season, the parking lot fills up quickly. If you arrive late, you have to park far away. Moreover, the parking spaces inside the hotel are very narrow and can only accommodate a few cars. In some spaces, two cars are parked behind each other, and there is no way for people to get out on either side. The left side is right next to a pillar, and the right side is right next to the car next to you. When the car next to you opens its door, it will definitely hit your car, otherwise you can't get in. You can imagine how narrow the parking spaces are. I originally booked two nights, but after staying one night, I canceled the one night and stayed at a hotel with a large parking lot instead.

They also offer a free shuttle service. Whether for business or leisure, I always prefer staying at Jinjiang brand hotels because the staff are attentive and friendly, and the breakfast is plentiful. There's a Bailu Lake Park nearby, which is great for a stroll after dinner.
