Pet Friendly Hotels in Gansu, China

When I booked the hotel, I was a bit worried seeing that the pick-up service was only from 8 AM to midnight. I specifically called to confirm that they could still pick me up even if my train arrived in Dunhuang around 7 AM. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Shazhou Night Market, Dunhuang Bookstore, Dunhuang Print Bureau, and Mingsha Mountain. I'm very grateful to the kind lady at the front desk for upgrading my room and allowing me to check in early. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Oh, and the two cats at the front desk are absolutely adorable!

I really struck gold with this one! To get such a fantastic hotel at this price point is incredible value for money. The room gets great natural light and has a wonderful, open view of a very pleasant scenery outside the window. The bathroom's wet and dry areas are well-separated, and all the toiletries are from reputable brands, which is reassuring. The biggest surprise was how the cleaning staff tidied everything perfectly every day and even left little snacks – a really thoughtful touch. The hotel's soundproofing is excellent too; it's incredibly quiet at night, and you can't hear any noise from the corridor. The staff are always on hand, their service is warm and attentive, and they never show any impatience. The value for money is absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend it to all fellow travelers!

Can the mattress of Hilton Garden Inn be improved? The edge of the bed is always exposed, and the edge of the bed is a bit sharp. The child bumped into it once because of this reason. The service staff in the restaurant is very good. There is a lady with glasses who closes the table in time. The restaurant manager is also very good and has a very kind smile. The restaurant is also very delicious. The beef noodles in the northwest are really delicious! Very chewy, I like it! There is a small noodle shop opposite the hotel (not the first Xu noodle shop, but a smaller noodle shop). There is a big plate of beef tripe noodles. I was shocked when it was served. Hahahaha, I have never seen noodles served in such a big plate. The uncle is also very nice. He also made a small bowl of non-spicy noodles for the child for free. I think the people in the northwest are so warm and simple!

Answer all questions and take the initiative to help solve the problem. Let the whole journey feel particularly warm.

Hotel is very nice. The location is close to the Shanzhou Night Market and it takes roughly 5-10 Minutes by walking there. In one of the side alleys are hidden gems, namely restaurants that do not appear on Google Maps or Apple Maps. I recommend to explore the surrounding area. Also the hotel is very clean in general, however my room has stains of previous travelers in the rug. I recommend to thoroughly clean it professionally. The staff were excellent and super friendly. Check In was very easy as foreigner and the overall service was very good.

Maybe it's due to geographical factors, new construction and operation factors, or the gap between east and west operations. Longnan Hilton still needs to work harder. First, the construction unit hasn't debugged the elevator yet, and there was a creaking sound during operation (this needs to be repaired and debugged, I'm a construction professional). Second, the smell of room decoration is still quite obvious. Third, it's difficult to open the external window (also a problem of inadequate installation). Fourth, the thing that affects my mood the most is that the toilet seat cover is not cleaned, and there is an unknown color liquid, which is extremely unfriendly to the health of guests. Fifth, the breakfast needs to be improved. Please pay attention to it. Please also pay attention to Ctrip customer service. Fortunately, the children in the hotel are still considerate and enthusiastic. Xiao Liu (Liu Xuemei) apologized when he left the hotel and gave a small gift. Thank you very much.

The service here is absolutely incredible! As someone who works in the tourism industry in my own city, I was blown away by how much better the service is here – it's light years ahead of what we offer. Not only did they provide airport pick-up, but the front desk staff practically ran to help us with our luggage, push the elevator button, and even escorted us to our room. I honestly didn't lift a finger with my bags from the moment I landed, which almost felt a bit embarrassing! Upon arrival, there were snacks and yogurt waiting for us, and they kept replenishing our water supply generously. They even brought us two bowls of noodles – after a late-night flight, eating a warm bowl of noodles was incredibly heartwarming. Every day, our room was stocked with so many goodies, and they even provided foot soaking tubs. The attention to detail is just exceptional. Every staff member greeted us warmly and proactively, showing genuine enthusiasm. Plus, it's a pet-friendly hotel, and there are seven well-fed, healthy cats in the lobby – they're so adorable! I'm already dreading leaving; I haven't even checked out yet and I'm already experiencing withdrawal. Dunhuang is truly amazing 😭 I definitely want to come back!

The hotel's location is excellent; right outside, you can catch buses to destinations like Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, the airport, the train station, and Xuanquanzi Scenic Area. The hotel interior is also quite new, and the bedding is good. Downsides: The water wasn't hot enough. They required a 30 RMB deposit for each room key card, which is something I haven't seen in years. For such a large hotel, it felt really petty. The front desk service wasn't bad, but it felt a bit forced and uncomfortable. I don't know why, but they barely smiled, which made me wonder if the management was mistreating them? It just made for an uncomfortable experience. They offer a station drop-off service, which I initially thought was a nice perk. However, the communication was unclear, and I wasn't sure if the car was even there. When you're traveling in an unfamiliar place and have a train to catch, punctuality is crucial. No one could give me a clear answer. In the end, I had to repeatedly press the front desk in the morning before they could confirm. It left a very bad impression; the entire management seems to have issues.

Hotel is very close and walking distance to the West entrance, which is less crowded and quiet than the East. The hotel is clean and the room is spacious. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Helped us with finding out the local bus schedule to Bingou and Kangle grassland and back to Zhangye and made sure we boarded the correct bus safely. There are plenty of local food options along the main road as well. Highly recommended to stay here for a Zhangye trip. Will definitely stay here when I return!

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at this hotel. I just stumbled upon these beautiful photos from a previous stay in my album today and couldn't resist sharing them. Every time I walk in, I'm drawn to the authentic, down-to-earth vibe. The front desk staff are always so welcoming, eagerly greeting us and helping with our luggage. The rooms are spotless and incredibly comfortable. But the absolute best part is the snow outside the window. Waking up and drawing the curtains to a pristine white landscape, with snowflakes gently drifting down – it instantly puts me in a fantastic mood. I also have to rave about the hotel's pour-over coffee. The freshly ground beans are so aromatic, and the coffee itself is rich and smooth, not bitter at all. A warm cup in the morning, enjoyed while gazing at the snowy scenery, is pure bliss. The service is also exceptionally thoughtful; any request is met quickly and efficiently. Next time I'm in Jiayuguan, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!
