We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Perfect location to discover all that Ålesund has to offer. Easy to come to the hotel by the shuttlebus from the airport and a few minutes walk. Room, service and breakfast very good. We will come back.

This guesthouse was very old, but had everything I needed! The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Shower rooms in basement were a little bit small with only a few hanging hooks. The shared bathroom / shower is for individual use, so good privacy. Kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea and cooking essentials provided. The housekeeper was extremely kind. She didn’t mind luggage storing or using the common area after after checkout The house location was great, walking distance to main scenic spots and bus stations.

The check-in was completed thanks to the codes previously sent by email super simple and contactless. A great plus point are the free parking directly on the site. The room itself was small but had even a balcony. On the floor there is a kitchen, a living room, two toilets and a shower available for community use. All clean and functional – has been perfectly suited to my needs!

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. There are cheap public parking spaces at the door, but the number is limited. The hotel's own parking lot is indoors, probably converted from an air-raid shelter. There is a very narrow door inside, and drivers with poor driving skills may not be able to park in it. I saw traces of vehicles scratching the wall of the doorway.

I stayed here for two nights, but the weather was terrible – heavy rain and strong winds. Luckily, the hotel wasn't too far from the station, but the whole way was uphill, which was tough for people with luggage! There were supermarkets nearby, so buying food wasn't a problem. The room was very warm, and the bathroom was large with a bathtub. It faced the sea view, so even though the weather outside was bad, my mood wasn't too bad. I especially liked the breakfast – it was plentiful and had a wide variety of choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is fantastic, directly across from the fjord. The view is breathtaking. A balcony is a must! It's absolutely amazing. Facilities: New and clean. Cleanliness: Very clean and excellent. Environment: Very nice, highly recommended. Service: Excellent.

Hotel is near to the bus station / town centre. However, there is a little of an uphill slope for those who have heavy luggages / travelling with elderlies. Went in summer and room feels warm/stuffy even though it was cold outside. Toilet is a little cramped but other than that it is clean. Breakfast was great and the reception is friendly to any questions. Hotel is near the Rampestreken start point for those looking to hike.

The hotel's parking lot is large and self-driving is very convenient. The cost of parking for 11 hours is NOK230. The interior of the room is clean and tidy, and there are many people checking in and the check-in is very efficient. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Alesund.

Unexpectedly, the decoration of the hotel is very artistic. From the lobby to the restaurant to the guest room, it is very artistic. This style is rare, but it is very tasteful. The breakfast is very rich, and the regional layout is also very characteristic, as if it is very casual, but has a design connotation. The basement level can be parked, but it is charged by the hour after 9:00 in the evening. It costs more than 200 yuan in one night. I finally stopped at the street and charged after 8:00 in the morning.
