I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

My Two-Night Stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool: Central City Experience Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience. The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep! I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city. What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking. The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place. Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank. **Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

Booked for Haydock Races however the race day got cancelled unfortunately.  We were a group of 10 and still went to the hotel.  We went into Newton Le Willow had drinks and a curry.  Hotel is nice however looking tired.  Towel rail was on roasting all day/night which made the bathroom far too hot.  Otherwise a nice room.

I recently stayed at The Adelphi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the train station was incredibly convenient for getting around. The convenience of having bar on-site was a definite plus. However, one significant drawback was the absence of refrigerators in the rooms. This was quite inconvenient, as it meant I couldn't store any perishable items or keep drinks cold for later, even with the bar downstairs. In today's world, having a fridge in a hotel room is almost an expectation, and its absence was definitely felt. Despite this, I would still recommend The Adelphi for its other positive aspects, convenient amenities, and easy access to transportation. I hope the management considers adding refrigerators to their rooms in the future, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience.

The hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk. The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased. Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient. We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

Great hostel, it’s clean and the rooms are well kept. The beds are amazingly comfortable with a small shelf to keep your phone and watch to charge while you sleep. The vibe is great and it’s very vintage style. Location is amazing. Easy to all public transport, so many shops to eat or get groceries from. Bars and pubs are at your fingertips. The only downside to this hostel is its in room bathroom. Unfortunately this hostel fails majorly on this. I was in an 8 bed dorm, and there was 1 toilet and 2 showers. (Luckily there was only 3 people in my room for my 2 nights) so we could manage. BUT the showers are absolutely awful it has no independent tap for hot or cold water, it has a push button for water and the push button only lasts 3 seconds (SO GUESS WHAT YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE BUTTON IN CONSTANTLY TO SHOWER) so you have one hand to shower with if you want constant water on you, BUT guess what…. The shower hot water is non existent the hot water is hot like a swimming pool on a hot summers day or luke warm at the best. So if you think you going to have a good shower after a long day of exploring or you get filthy from a night out, surprise you going to have the most awful shower. So you gotta pick awful shower for a comfy bed and clean room or stay somewhere else. If I visit Liverpool again I’d skip this hostel only for the fact that I like a nice hot shower at the end of the day to unwind with before going to bed.

We stayed here the night before creamfeilds I will start with the good points .. Staff 10/10 so helpful and very good customer services skills.. cleanliness was top notch, the breakfast was plentiful, the mattress in the bed room was actually one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have stayed on and I was thinking we would get a lovely nights rest before our festival but on to the bad points. we had the worst nights sleep of our lives our room was facing the road. Now this road is busy throughout the whole of the night. It is non stop, you can hear every car, every lorry, every motor bike, every horn every engine zooming past all throughout the whole night ! We barely slept a wink !! We was shattered the next day. We told the staff the manager said to go through the app we booked on and we can get 20% back as they would of gave us a free breakfast for our trouble but we had already bought one . The manager and receptionist were so lovely. They do know this is an issue and have been trying to get something implemented from the company to resolve this issue as it’s not just us who have complained about this .. and unfortunately I would not stay here again until the issue is resolved and they got the triple glazing windows to reduce noise otherwise I would much rather book another hotel without the noise issues so I could get a good nights rest ..

The Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.  Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.  We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool. 

Negative points from our stay I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible. I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price. Positive All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us. We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey. The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.
