Marriott is know for it standard of service and excellent offerings and yes indeed I do agree . Marriott Singapore is an iconic Singapore landmark at the heart of Orchard Road with many shopping mall and restaurants
Room itself is big and clean which is what i have expected from hotel if this level . Check in was fast too and the lobby itself look grand . Unfortunately could not comment on the breakfast as I sure overslept on the big comfy bed and will miss it 😅
For staycation again without doubt I will pick Marriott again for it location .
Tip : They have shuttle bus to Botanic Garden at the drop off point
Tip 2. : Next to the lift lobby there is a machine to change money the rate is not good . use it unless emergency if not Lucky Plaza beside have many money charger and they offer good rate

Japanese High Tea at Marriott Tang Plaza
The Lobby Lounge at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has brought in their Flavours of Japan afternoon high tea which lasted last month in May. As there was an ongoing promotion, my friend and I decided to drop by to celebrate a birthday and have a relaxing and fun time catching up before the month ended.
As we went on a weekend, it came with a glass of champagne for each pax, other than a welcome drink that seemed to taste like fruit punch mixed with cold brew tea. We were also given a TWG tea menu for us to pick a flavour of our choice, and the normal coffee was free flow.
Savoury snacks range from the charcoal beef burgers to the unagi quiche tarts. The sweet desserts, on the other hand, range from purple sweet potato pound cake, to the lavender swiss rolls. The sweets are quite pretty and of greater variety than the savoury snacks.

M Club Lounge @ Marriott Tangs
Situated next to the pool on the 5th level, the newly-renovated M Club serves morning breakfast as well as evening cocktails and canapes. Playing it decidedly business hotel lounge-esque in its stylings, the space boasts various seating arrangements, from strategically-placed tables near the buffet line and window-side seats overlooking the idyllic pool area to tables within a beautiful octagonal pavilion with a soaring ceiling which also happens to house the bar. As the skies darken at the close of the evening, the lounge comes alive with the buzz of sparkling (and often alcohol-enhanced) conversations around you which somehow never overwhelms your own, and I am pleasantly surprised by how intimate and comfortable the vibes are in a club lounge within a hotel that is located right in the heart of Orchard.
The evening presentation comprises light bites as well as an extensive spread of sweets which include Ondeh Ondeh Swiss Roll, Mango Mousse Cake, Eclair, Lemon Tart, Brownie and Kueh Lapis. I was suitably smitten by the salt-happy pieces of Chocolate Praline, and pleasantly surprised that the sweets options were refreshed throughout the two hour food presentation.
In terms of booze, the M Club serves a variety of red and white wines, with La Gioiosa Tradizone Brut prosecco being the bubbly of choice. The bar also serves free-flow cocktails, with the choices available being fairly extensive for a club lounge menu – think Singapore Sling, Gin Martini, Cosmopolitan, Whisky Sour, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Margarita and Vodka Martini. While the food presentation lasts from 5.30pm – 7.30pm, alcohol is served for a whopping four hours from 5.30pm – 9.30pm, which means the property has the distinction of offering the longest evening cocktails presentation in the country (alongside JW Marriott Singapore South Beach). Amazing Staycay @ Marriott Tangs
For a short staycation during the weekday, I have to say this was truly a blissful stay. The check in process was smooth and being entertained a last minute one hour late check out was truly an appreciated gesture.
The room was surprisingly spacious, boasting a tremendous amount of up keeping, and despite given a lower floor, the view championed what the Orchard Road was truly about! Every room seems to offer a great view due to the octagonal floor plan. The are no corner rooms.
Facilities in the room are modern and there are enough sockets for all my charging needs.
Love to proximity to Singapore's famous shopping belt! There is a beautiful boulevard lined with shopping centers. So much shopping to do.
Loved the breakfast selection. Menu has vast array of international foods
Truly impressed with the overall stay!
Service crew came to rescue, with brilliant care and thought given into every service, which makes this a 5/5 stay.

Delicious eats at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel
Getting hungry during your stay here at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel? Not to worry because there are so many hotel-operated restaurants, but the one I highly recommend is Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant! Our staycation package came with a 20% dining discount at Wan Hao. Initially we wanted to dine in but they were fully booked for lunch and dinner, that’s how popular they are. The alternative way to get a taste of their reknowned cuisine was through their $15 nett dim sum boxes, so we placed an advance order for collection the next day.
Wow, the food really lived up to its reputation! Everything in that box was delicious, neither too oily nor heavy. The prawns were juicy, the chicken was soft, the egg tart was crispy and not too sweet. No wonder we couldn’t make a last-minute reservation on a weekend, given how good the food is. Truly the best part of our staycation experience.
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marriott Cafe Breakfast, Marriott Tang Hotel
In every staycation we go to, we almost always aim for breakfast-inclusive packages :D For this stay at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, breakfast was served at Marriott Cafe in an unlimited a la carte fashion.
As with our club lounge experience last night, we met with extremely mediocre and unmemorable food here. Dishes like the laksa and porridge tasted “instant”. The chilli crab omelette had no visible nor tastable crab, only a cheap-tasting dollop of chilli sauce atop the omelette. We didn’t finish the French toast as it was dense and flavourless.
If having fresh juices matters to you, do note that there was no such option at both evening cocktails and breakfast service. The only dishes I’d reluctantly recommend are the nasi lemak and ham and cheese omelette. Service here was mostly touch-and-go, regrettably nothing to rave about.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Club Lounge Experience, Marriott Tang Hotel
Our staycation here at Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel included access to the club lounge (ie. M Club)! It overlooks the pool and boasts classy clean lines and modern furnishings, creating an inviting ambience to sip our drinks in. Apparently, evening cocktails are only served at M Club from Fridays to Sundays and at Marriott Cafe on other days between 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Glad we got to enjoy ours at the club lounge (:
Evening cocktails were served a la carte with unlimited ordering. We asked for our orders to be served in small portions as we wanted to try quite a few items on the menu. Foodwise, unfortunately none were worthy of special mention. In fact, what I will specially mention is how incredibly dry and tough the meatballs were, not fun. The dishes that were slightly better included the creamy mushroom soup and tender chicken that didn’t taste much of the oyster sauce it supposedly came with.
Service was terrible for the most part. Maybe they were stretched as there didn’t seem to be many staff around in the first place, but they gave us the feeling that they’d much rather be someplace else. One of them wrote down our order in complete silence, then immediately turned and walked away in a huff, which I thought was rather strange. Our impression was somewhat salvaged by Haziq, who briefly stopped to ask us how the food was and offered us another round of drinks.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, Singapore
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from so many iconic shopping malls like Ion Orchard, Takashimaya and Paragon. The staff checking us in m allocated us the Executive Club (Larger Guest Room) that came with a partition between the bed and desk. Even though it is technically bigger than the regular Executive Club Room (32sqm) at 38sqm, I thought the partition actually made the room feel less spacious, which was a pity.
We also didn’t vibe with other elements like peeling wallpaper, wood chipping off the veneer of various surfaces, curtains leaving my hands feeling tacky – all these pointed to the property’s age.
This bathroom was our first ever encounter with his and hers showers, which meant there was a lot of space! No bathtub, but two rainshowers, two towel hooks and double vanities, pretty sweet. However, it was also the most dimly lit bathroom we’ve ever come across, not sure if the lights were faulty but eventually we just made do.
My overall rating of the experience: 3 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Marriott Tangs Pool Terrace Room
Address - 320 Orchard Rd, Singapore 238865
Ambiance/Facilities - Business, Modern, Resort, Upscale and Consistently Amazing
Highlights -
It'll probably come as a surprise to most that one can actually soak in the tropical resort vibe at Singapore Marriott Tangs Plaza. It also feels slightly ironic that it does so despite sitting at the crossroads of what is probably the country’s busiest intersection – Orchard and Scotts.
At 42 square meters, the Pool Terrace room is a spacious oasis with a lounge area outside and even a dedicated cabana if your room happens to be at either end of the stretch. These rooms are your ebst choice if you plan to soak in the pool as it's literally at your doorstep! Back to the room, it has classic Bali villa vibes with wood and bright elements and the toilet is oroba you my favourite part of the room! I love how open it is and more importantly, the natural light that streams in from the side during the day. As I have mentioned earlier, these rooms remind me of a nice spa since it has a little bit of that throughout the room.
Each Pool Terrace Room here at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel comes with a coffee machine so you can enjoy a cup of solid coffee on your balcony. TWG-branded teabags are also provided in one of the drawers underneath the coffee machine and they are replenished each day so feel free to go crazy with them.
If you're looking for a romantic staycation idea, look no further!

Marriott Tang Plaza pre SHN
#exlporesgtogether #exploresgtogether #momentssg #staycation
Have always wanted to try staying in the prominent pagoda structure in the centre, and was glad to do so before they were closed for SHN.
While registration was fast, it seemed that they were extremely short of manpower in terms of housekeeping. There were no rooms with the king bed available and we had to either wait 3 hours for those type of room, or make do with those that have 2 single beds instead. This is despite us checking in at the usual check in time at 3pm.
Despite the inconvenience, we had quite a nice view of Orchard Road and facing the pool as well. Room was clean too.
Had some dining credits so used them for dinner at Crossroads. Tried the Marriott burger (ground Angus beef patty) which comes with salad, and the nasi goreng which is fried rice with satay and chicken. Food wise was good and the waiter was friendly.
Swimming pool staff was friendly, and the pool was quite nice with the jacuzzi and cabanas at the side to relax. There is also a small garden to walk around and relax too.
Was quite worried about the queue and crowd situation at Marriott Cafe for breakfast. Fortunately, we only waited a short while we get seated and and arrived much faster than we thought. That was when we realised the management staff also double up as waiters and waitresses, hence reducing the wait time. Food at Marriott cafe was actually good; liked the French toast particularly.
Decent experience on the whole!

Crossroads Cafe
Address - 320 Orchard Rd, Singapore 238865 (Located outside Marriott Tangs Plaza)
Highlights - Outdoor environment. Wine and dine. Happy hours!
Rating - 5/5
One of the casual dining that I enjoyed the most is from Crossroads Cafe.
Although it is located at outdoor, I would recommend to go there during mid-afternoon or evening as it will be more cooling at that time.
Usually will ordered the Marriott Burger, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Hainanese Chicken Rice or Truffle Fries. These are the ones that I have tasted so far and I like it the most.
Also, you can order for yourself some pint of beer to chill your night out with friends!
