🇸🇬 Gardens by the Bay ❤️🤩
#singapore
We stopped in Singapore on our way back from a family visit in Australia. We’ve done it a few times but not since 2014. How Singapore has changed Almost unrecognizable from the Old Town. It is now a city of skyscrapers, small shops have gone instead we have huge shopping malls with upscale stores like Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Gucci, etc. Not something the average visitor needs. There are still some good points that Singapore has made, MRT has expanded its network and works very well, it is efficient, clean, running on time and connections are scheduled so that you never have to wait more than three or four minutes for your train to arrive.
And of course there are old favorites, the boat dock, Clarks Quay, Raffles. The only new attraction that is a must for everyone is the gardens in the bay, especially at night to view the light.
Are we going back, I don't think so because it has become too expensive.
Hidden attraction in Gardens by the Bay!
#fallishere #weekendgetaways #singapore
Visitors always visit Gardens by the Bay because of its beautiful and magical supertree observatory especially at night. But there is also interesting attraction for nature lover which is the Sun Pavilion!
I love it here because there are a lot of castus species with the desert-like landscapes. With over 1000 desert plants and gigantic bizzare-looking cactus! It is free admission and opens daily from 5am - 2am.
Other attraction such as a big aquarium where I saw an aligator and other rare fish.

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay! 🎉
Christmas Wonderland is returning to Gardens by the Bay.
Back for the 10th time, this fair will transform more than 27,000 square meters of land into a Christmas wonderland from Dec 1 to Jan 1.
It will be divided into 3 distinct zones: Supertree Grove, Frosty's Fairground at The Meadow, and Gingerbread Grove. The main highlight, Spalliera, will be located at Supertree Grove, and draws inspiration from Mesola Castle in Northern Italy. This structure, adorned with a handcrafted light display of 103,000 bulbs, is a towering 20 meters tall.
Visitors can dive into an immersive experience called Blizzard Time, which brings snowfall to the tropical island. Alongside this, a captivating light show will be projected onto the surrounding trees, perfectly synchronized with the Christmas soundtracks.
With its light displays, festive activities, and carnival rides, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay promises to be an extraordinary celebration.

Singapore Changi Airport Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
Singapore Must-Visit: A Place You Can't Miss or Your Heart May Cry! 💔😢
This place is truly breathtaking! When I saw it in person, the only word that came to mind was 'Wow!' It's an artificial beauty, and even though you know it's man-made, seeing it with your own eyes is truly awe-inspiring! 😲
No more words, let's get straight to the guide! ‼
1⃣ Where is it? It's located next to Terminal 1 at Singapore Changi Airport, beside a large circular building. Just walk in, and you'll see it. Alternatively, you can ask airport staff. Most people who look Chinese can speak Mandarin, and they are friendly and helpful! 😊
2⃣ How to take photos? If, like me, you're traveling alone, I'll share my secret with you. Just say, 'Hello, can you take a photo for me?' This usually works! The key is to find a young lady; they usually take better photos. If you can identify Korean ladies, go straight to them! You're guaranteed a good shot! 📸
3⃣ Best viewing platforms? Each floor has a different vantage point, but my favorites are the first and third floors. 🏞
4⃣ Any other activities at the waterfall? You can take a small train ride through it, offering a unique experience. When I looked down from above, it felt like a scene from 'Love O2O,' very futuristic. 🚂
Solo travel turns out to be quite fun; I had a great time! Highly recommended! 🌟

Brunch time at SilverKris lounge
#wheretogo Follow me and I will bring you to feasting at Silverkris lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 3. It is always nice to spend time here before flying and this time my flight is in the afternoon, so I can have brunch before my flight. They have many different kinds of cuisine and you can always ask to customize your preferences a the live station. It is a buffet kind of style with a few live stations for noodles and eggs. I also get to take a nap at their sleeping room and take a shower before my flight too. The lounge is not crowded and I can stay as long as I want here.

Marina Bay Sands Layover 🇸🇬 ✈️
#singaporetrip
🗓️ October, 2023
During my fleeting layover in Singapore, I opted for a taxi ride to Marina Bay Sands, saving my tired feet from the walk required if I had taken the metro from the airport. 🚖
Despite the limited time, I explored the tranquil Youth Olympic Park and admired the captivating ArtScience Museum. 🪷
The highlight of my layover was a fantastic photo opportunity at Marina Centre, where the stunning Marina Bay Sands Hotel and museum formed a breathtaking backdrop.
Even in the daytime, the view was captivating, and I couldn't help but imagine the enchanting spectacle it must be at night. 🌆📷

Universal Studios Singapore Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
🌎 Universal Studios Singapore 🇸🇬
#singapore
Our family of 5 had a good time here and the children between the ages of 9/11/13 do not want to leave. We spent two days in the park (Adventure Island and Universal Studios). He added Halloween horror night to me and my husband on the second day.
I’ve been here 3 times over 20 years, and the quick passes have always helped me have a good time and hit all major flights within a limited time we’re here. Now my kids are Universal fans too. Great staff, professional, very well managed lines, clean and I prefer the simplicity of the Universal Express card compared to Disney. And able to bring some food and drink is definitely an added advantage. It helps manage our kids who need a lot of snacks, and we ate in the park around 3-4pm outside peak hours for lunch. Favorites are Velocicoaster, Hagrid, Hulk, Minions, oh wait. We love everything
Halloween nights were something else. Again long queues, I enjoyed the houses with a quick pass otherwise maybe not much. The nightmare fuel show was good (exciting not for kids), Last of Us, Exorcist, Stranger Things and scare zones was well done. I'm a sling when it comes to scary stuff and yet it was fun to try HHN for the first time. Awesome scary actors!
Tips: In a busy week, brag about fast or targeted 2-3 trips without quick trips and expect a long queue. The food is good but hey we are there to go out at the games!
Suggestions for Universal: For tours beyond 60 minutes waiting time, can you please create virtual lines? We’re all in the digital age here, and I think people who don’t have expression can enjoy the park too without standing in line all day.

Jewel Changi Airport Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
🇮🇩 Jewel Singapore ✈️
#singapore
This is my second time in the jewel. The waterfall, lush greenery and the fact that this shopping mall is close to the airport still inspires awe but this time I will take a look at the nuts and bolts to visit this place.
❤️
I dare say that the best time to visit the jewel is as soon as you land. You can spend as much time as you want without worrying about missing a flight. There is a luggage storage on the first floor of Joel that you can use for this purpose. The baggage storage rate will depend on the size of the luggage you store there but the price applies for 24 hours so it’s worth it if you want to spend as much time as possible at the jewel.
On the previous occasion, my family and I visited the jewel on the day of departure.
Since our flight would leave from Terminal 3, we had to run half from the jewel to the station because we were approaching it. Also be careful if you are in Terminal 3, the walk from Terminal 3 to the jewel is very far away and you have to catch many travelers.
Those in Building 1 will be in a better position to visit the Jewel because the Jewel is located just outside Building 1.
It can be hard to find a seat in restaurants because it gets so crowded.
Maybe you better limit your visit here to shopping. Take the time to visit the different stores.
This place will be the starting point, the end point or both of your trip to Singapore.
Passport-free Boarding at Changi Airport!
Changi Airport has announced plans to offer automated immigration clearance for departing passengers.
By utilizing biometric data, this system will eliminate the need for passports. The initiative aims to reduce wait times and streamline the departure process at Changi Airport. By introducing QR code scanning at land checkpoints, the airport guarantees a swift and secure process for customs and immigration clearance, thus enhancing border controls during peak travel periods or at the onset of any future pandemic outbreak.
With this expedited boarding process, Changi Airport is set to offer a smoother and less stressful travel experience. This system will also enable the gathering of critical information in advance, allowing instructions to be issued to airlines and other transport operators to prevent illegal boarding.

Changi Airport T2 Reopens! 🎉
Singapore's Changi Airport Terminal 2 has reopened after a three-year renovation, complete with upgraded features that promise to raise passengers' airport experiences to new levels.
While the terminal continues to have some familiar features, it now includes a four-storey-high digital waterfall display, lush gardens with fish ponds, and much more. The Wonderfall, the 14m (46 ft) tall and 17m (55 ft) wide digital waterfall display, is the highlight of the departure hall. It features original melodies by Canadian pianist Jean-Michel Blais and cascades over massive boulders that are raised four stories high.
Dreamscape is located in the departure transit area after immigration and blends gardens, digital content, fish, and plants into a unique space. There are thousands of plants from 100 different species, creating a beautiful sight that adds yet another reason to visit Singapore.
The stunning transformation has been eagerly awaited and will elevate your airport experience to new heights!
