I must say that the interior is absolutely magnificent! This is my first time visiting this museum and I am thoroughly impressed. The museum showcases a variety of art, cultural heritage, and antiquities from prehistoric times to the present day. It's a fun and exciting experience to explore the history of Thailand. Each exhibit is beautifully displayed and offers a variety of angles for taking pictures. Moreover, each section has informative signs that provide a wealth of knowledge. If you want more information, you can download the FADiscovery application, which acts as a personal guide.
If you're looking for a new place to visit and tired of the mall atmosphere, I highly recommend taking a stroll through this beautiful museum. Not only is it comfortable and air-conditioned, but it's also not crowded. You won't break a sweat here!

Thailand, Sawadee ka!!!
Hi, I know a lot has been posting ng mga travel nila going to Thailand and more and more are experiencing being offloaded by the immigration.
nakakakaba naman talaga pag nag start na sila mag tanong ng more than 2 questions. I don’t know if it helps but will share with you my experience to motivate others not to be afraid to travel outside our country.
Requirements na dala:
*COE - with leave of absence date tugma sa travel
*VaxxCert just in case
*TP (Thailand Pass) nahigay na sa ibang post yung requirements but i’ll be happy to share once asked.
*Bank certificate (not necessary but can help)
*Itinerary (wala ako neto but might help others)
*Plane ticket (Papunta at pabalik)
*Insurance (Got AXA madami sa FB market place agents that would help assist)
Travel history ko: Singapore palang 2019 pa, I have no valid visas to other countries.
No. of pax: I am a lone traveler mag isa ako.
The only question that was asked to me by the immigration officer was about my previous travel which is SG and then sabay tatak. No documents asked.
I think trust point din if you wont look decent enough to find a job or ”too casual” t-shirt lang and shorts then shoes lang suot ko and I didn’t bring luggage, I brought back pack at shoulder bag na maliit. siniksik konlahat gamit ko dun. (wala akong biniling pasalubong 😅)
Masaya mag party sa Thailand at food trip pero if relaxing ang gusto, sa Pinas nalang mas mura at mas maganda pa.
I didn’t hold myself from spending kase I wanted to get the most of Thailand atleast Bangkok.
Pabalik Pinas nag register lang ako sa OHP (One Helath Pass) 2 days before departure and got my QR code (express pass) after more or less 15 hours.
Wasn’t asked for RTPCR/ATK na din as long as vaccinated twice. in my case I already have my booster. I uploaded din.
Happy Travel!!!!

Must visit place for museum lover
This place was mandatory for Thai students when we have excursion. It had changed a lot from my memory.
Now, building 4 and 5 had almost done renovation. the staff told me that it will be done after new year. However, for those finish parts, it is very nice atmosphere and I feel like I'm in big, famous museum, just with less items.
it is not possible for me to finish every building in one day if we spend time in detail in all items. many antique pieces did fastinate me on how complete and well maintained they are. it could be that because most of them was own by king and government.
I will definitely come back next year to see the rest and looking forward to see special event here.

Check in at the National Museum of Thailand—embark on a magical journey
The National Museum of Thailand, established in 1782, is the largest in scale among Southeast Asian countries. Here, one can take a journey through Thai history and culture. The museum displays sculptures and classical artworks from various periods of Thailand, as well as some important historical relics, such as artifacts unearthed from the Ban Chiang culture, terracotta figures of the ancient female orchestra from Thonburi, the Buddha statue with the gesture of touching the earth from the Sukhothai period known as the 'Phra Si Ariyabot', the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva statue dubbed the 'Thai Venus', and the famous inscriptions from Sukhothai. It's worth a visit, not too crowded and highly recommended.
The National Museum of Thailand, a treasure trove adjacent to the Grand Palace
The Bangkok National Museum is equivalent to our Forbidden City Museum. It was originally owned by the Thai royal family, but is now open to the public.

tional Museum of Thailand
A must-visit National Museum of Thailand. The museum is not far from the Grand Palace, it is a combination of the museum and the former royal palace, so there are not only some exhibits about Thai history inside, but also a lot of royal objects are displayed, which can fully understand the royal culture, history, religious culture of various periods in Thailand, etc. The overall museum is not like a different hall in a building in China, it is equivalent to different buildings in a courtyard, you can shuttle back and forth, a total of 13 areas, in fact, if you stroll around, half a day will pass, it is really a good place to kill time, and more importantly, it is very cool, friends!!! What is more important than gaining knowledge and being cool, this is great~ The museum has a place to eat, in the corner behind the fifth area, the fried rice is quite delicious and cheap. But it's not in the city so it's not very cool but it's really cheap. You can also take a break, there is a drink shop next to it, it seems to have air conditioning; there is a cultural and creative shop next to the ticket office at the main entrance, but I was a bit disappointed this time, I feel that the cultural and creative products are much worse than when I came a few years ago, postcards and other things can still be bought~ Some basic information Opening hours: Wednesday-Sunday 8:30-16:00 (*****Note{Monday and Tuesday are holidays!****** Location: 4 Napatan Road, Grand Palace Subdistrict, Panakon District, Bangkok City, Ticket price: 200 baht for foreigners Free tickets: Children, students Guide service: The official guide says that there are foreign volunteers providing English, French, and German services on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:30, and you need to make an appointment on the website in advance (bring your mobile phone, use the Youdao Translation Officer app to take a photo and translate directly, it's super convenient) Precautions: 1. The dress code is similar to that of the Grand Palace, because it is a royal place, so short skirts and shorts must be knee-length or over the knee, and it is not allowed to wear only straps and vests 2. Photography is allowed, video recording is prohibited, flash and selfie sticks cannot be used 3. Water must be placed at the door and cannot be brought in 4. I read the guide before that I don't allow to bring large bags, for fear of hanging or entangling exhibits, but in fact, there is no problem with canvas bags and other bags (there is a luggage storage service at the ticket offic
A museum where you can stay for a day
To avoid the crowd during the holiday, we came early in the morning, first went around the museum and textile exhibition
The atmosphere is quite cultural, the decoration style is unique, and the photos are very good
By noon, we went to the second floor for lunch. The dishes are rich, the appearance is high, the taste is good, and their signature dessert is highly recommended!!
The dining environment is very natural, just next to the tree shade, the breeze, the cicadas, very comfortable.
After eating, we went directly down the stairs outside the door to the shop, strolled around the latest new products, I like the new products of each quarter!
The new products are updated quickly, and in the afternoon, we continue to visit the art center next door, four floors, we visited for a long time, there are many creative ideas and activities inside.
When it was almost dark, we sat in the silk coffee shop on the first floor next to the museum to drink tea, slowly watching the sunset is very relaxing, very comfortable.
If you don't know where to go on holiday, you can come here, a niche attraction in Bangkok
You can stay here all day, stroll all day, highly recommended.
Bangkok National Museum
It is indeed the largest national museum in Southeast Asia. No matter how you look at it, it feels like you can't finish it. It includes the 18th century palace, complete traditional Thai architecture and residences, and collects sculptures and classical art from various periods in Thailand, from the Stone Age to the contemporary Bangkok Dynasty. Various documents, folk utensils, ancient Buddha statues, royal weapons, boats and various items are all available.
The National Museum of Bangkok's modern era is worth a visit. 🏛️
If you don't have any plans to go anywhere this weekend, why not visit the "National Museum Bangkok" and take a stroll to see the national treasures? 😄 They have renovated the place and installed air conditioning in every building, so you won't sweat while walking around. 😄 The museum is divided into several buildings according to exhibition zones, and now the artifacts are arranged in a much more organized way, making it easier and more enjoyable to walk around. The area is also very spacious, so it's recommended to spend at least half a day there 😄. There are many things to explore, and every spot has clear and detailed signs explaining the exhibits! If you get hungry while walking around, don't worry, there are food and drink stalls at the back, so you don't have to waste time looking for a place outside. Just visit one stall and you're done! 😄 Take some time to visit here when you're free!
- Ticket prices: 30 baht for Thai people, 200 baht for foreigners.
- Open from Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays, 09:00-16:00.

The National Museum is definitely worth a visit. It about 10 minute walk from Khao San Road .
I Spent about two hours exploring the National Museum, the largest museum in South East Asia! For those short on time, I recommend visiting the Gallery of Thai History for some historical background and insight into Thailand’s devotion to the monarchy. Next, visit the Isaari Winitchai Hall to see exhibits dedicated to Royal Regalia, Gold Treasures, Theatre Art and Games, Costumes and Textiles, and Musical Instruments. On the way out, stop at the museum’s highlight, the Hall of Royal Funerary Chariots. These creations are some of the most intricately detailed works in the entire museum. They are still in use for funerals of the Royal Family and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a restoration team working to prepare one for duty.

An ideal place for history lovers, the Bangkok National Museum exhibits some of the most magnificent collection of art and artefacts reflecting the Thai culture. It is located near the city centre. At QF5R+6MP Khwaeng Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Khet Phra Nakhon.
The museum also features religious and ceremonial artefacts, the Viceroy's throne and an extraordinary collection of Buddha images arranged according to the timeline.
It was an interesting and educational way to learn more about Thailand and it’s progress through the lens of history.
To be honest, I seldom visit Museum these days as we are busy with our life, day to day chores kind of make us ignorant about our history and culture. I think I must do some soul searching and understand more about our ancestry and humanity..
