ZIMO.

The end of the Siberian Railway is here - the Vladivostok Railway Station is just opposite the Comrade Lenin who extends his arm to the right. The Russian railway station is easy to manage and can be accessed without a train ticket. The famous "9288 Monument" is on the platform of the station - the length of the railway from Moscow is 9,288 kilometers. From here, the train takes 7 days to cross the vast Russian land. On the top of the monument is the sculpture of the "double-headed eagle". I once saw the same monument at the station in Khabarovsk. The double-headed eagle is a symbol of Russia, looking towards the east and looking at the west. And the East and West are connected in series, the famous Siberian Railway. This huge project was completed under the repeated promotion of Tsar Alexander III (reigned from 1881 to 1894). Today, the tsarist relief in Vladivostok station is his son, the last Tsar Nicholas II. In 1891, Nikolay, who was the Crown Prince, personally hosted the foundation stone laying ceremony of Vladivostok. Through a small shopping mall in the station, step into the terrace outside the building, facing the Golden Horn Bridge, which is also the port of Vladivostok, which is the port of Vladivostok.

Vladivostok is a city in the Russian Far East. It gets really cold in winter so I recommend to plan your trip to Vladivostok from May till September. ✈️ Getting There - Vladivostok is located near Japan, China and Korea so pretty much the only way to get there is by plane. Vladivostok has an airport express train that will take you straight to Vladivostok’s city center, another perk is that the train passes by great sceneries. 🎠 Attractions - My favorite place to visit in Vladivostok is the aquarium on the Russian island, it has a lot of interesting fish and animals in there and the area outside the aquarium is just wonderful, it is right by the seaside. Another great place to visit is the Tokarevski Lighthouse. When the tide is low, the shallow path appears which you can use to walk to the lighthouse. You can walk along the seaside and the riverside, rent a longboard or a bicycle 🚲 at Naberezhnaya Tsesarevicha. You can visit Vladivostok’s surf camp and learn surfing or just rent a standup paddle. You can visit Russian theater and absorb local culture. 🥞 Food & Restaurants - Russian food is amazing, there are a lot of great restaurants with good service. Don’t forget it is in the culture to tip the waiter 15-20% in Russia. Start with having Russian pancakes for breakfast, they are called Blini, they are often served with condensed milk or they are stuffed with cottage cheese, potatoes, meat, cabbage. The next dish to try is Sirniki, it’s some sort of pancakes made of cottage cheese often served with sour cream. There are a lot of dinner dishes in Russia, it would take me dozens of pages to name them all, just prepare your stomach to eat a lot in Russia because it’s just so good 😍😍😍 Enjoy your trip to Russia and don’t freeze if you decide to go in Winter ❄️ #russia #vladivostok #travel #vacation #citytour #travelling #holidays #food #city #citycenter #island #passionpassport
