Arseniev Museum in Vladivostok

Vladimir K. Arseniev Museum of Far East History was founded in 1884 and opened to visitors in 1890 as a museum of the Society for the Study of the Amur Territory. Today, the museum stores documentary and material evidence from different eras: these are archaeological artifacts, collections of the natural and cultural heritage of our region, and ethnographic collections that reveal the secrets of the life of small peoples of the Far East, and exhibits dedicated to military, social, political events, as well as paintings, sculptures and more.
