Island | Thailand | Koh Samui
❤️Intoxicatedly beautiful Su Mei SUMEI❤️
Koh Samui retains a natural and simple atmosphere. The nearby Ang Thong National Marine Park, Koh Tao, and Koh Nang Yuan are three pearls that attract many domestic and foreign tourists to come for vacation on the Gulf of Thailand.
Beaches, snorkeling, sailing, as well as local specialties in dining and spa, are not only loved by international celebrities, but also the over 700 hotels on the island make it a paradise for hotel enthusiasts.
Koh Samui
Ko Tao, Heaven on earth.
If you plan to visit Thailand or you are in Thailand please do not miss Koh Tao. It is simply the most beautiful place I've seen in Thailand so far.
People in the island are super nice, they are very helpful and overall is a chill/party island. Don't book one or two nights, you will regret it. Go there for at least a week, everyday you'll find something new to do

Amazing koh Tao
Most people come here to dive and to take dive master courses, and there are around 40 diving schools on the island now. I saw several packages for dive courses including accommodation for around 8,000 baht (around US$224) which is a great deal – and another reason why Koh Tao attracts so many divers, in addition to its many dive sites.

Ko Tao
Ko Tao is an island in Thailand. Restaurants, nightspots and dive shops cluster in Mae Haad Beach and near Sai Ri Beach. Villas dot palm-fringed beaches such as Chalok Baan Kao Bay, on the south coast. In the northwest, Koh Nang Yuan is a group of islets with hilltop views. Ko Tao is known for its tropical coral reefs, with species including whale sharks and rays. Hawksbill and green turtles gather here to breed.

Nang Yuan Island Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Koh Nang Yuan in Thailand
Koh Nang Yuan National Park, few kilometers from Koh Tao. The water here is incredibly full of life: swallowfish huge cypress, baby blacktip sharks.
To reach Koh Nang Yuan from Koh Tao, opt for a quick boat ride (arranged by the beach) or, if you're feeling adventurous, go for kayaking. The island's entrance fee is 100 baht. Explore the island, snorkel, and hike to the breathtaking viewpoints. Facilities like a restaurant and bathrooms are available for visitors.

Ko Pha Ngan 🌴
These pics are taken by me when I was back packing in Ko Pha Ngan, Thailand 🇹🇭
I went to there from Phuket by the bus and ferry!
The island is small and closed to Ko Samui where is also famous for travellers! ✨
The full moon party (biggest beach party) was hold in just good time, so I decided to go🥳✌🏽✨
It’s really fun and the place is just calm and such a countryside, so if you are tired of being in big city, it’s the best place to chill out🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Little island for snorkeling and relaxing
Address - Nang Yuan Island, Samui
Ambiance/Facilities - Clear water beaches, Fine sand and sea life
Highlights - Snorkeling with fishes around the island
Avg. Price per Person - 1,500 Per person for 1 day speed boat tour
Rating - 3.5/5
During my 1st time at Samui had a recommendation for a 1 day speed boat tour, which was pretty new experience for me as these island and beaches were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The tour included trips to 3 island and inclusive of a buffet lunch. The trip starts around 8am and concluded around 4pm. overall a really memorable experience for me.

John Suwan View Point Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Hiking at John Suwan viewpoint
Let’s go for hiking at John Suwan viewpoint
View : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Route to get there : ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Located in the very south of Koh Tao, it is possible to drive most of the way to the viewpoint, but you will need to park your scooter and walk for the last section that goes up the hill.

Best viewpoint on Koh Tao
Let mw introduce you to my personal favorite viewpoint on Koh Tao. The John Suwan Viewpoint is strategically located in the north of the island. From there you have an amazing view on chalok bay and freedom beach.
Special tip: if you go there early enough for sunrise you dont have to pay entrance fee of 50 baht and you can also check out the freedom beach and lagoon located next to it
John-Suwan Viewpoint
#songkran2024
The John-Suwan Viewpoint, or จุดชมวิวจอห์น-สุวรรณ in Thai, is a scenic overlook nestled in Thailand, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding landscapes. Perched atop a hill, visitors can marvel at panoramic views of lush forests, rolling hills, and sparkling waters stretching as far as the eye can see. Whether witnessing a vibrant sunrise or a picturesque sunset, the viewpoint provides a serene escape into nature's beauty, making it a popular destination for photographers, nature enthusiasts, and travelers seeking tranquility amidst Thailand's stunning scenery.
John Suwon viewpoint
#songkran2024
John Suwan Viewpoint is one of the most famous and iconic viewpoints on Koh Tao, second only to Koh NangYuan Viewpoint.
Located right on the southernmost tip of the island, standing on the rocks looking back at the island you’ll see a dense green jungle in your centre view, Chalok Bay to the west, and Shark Bay (Thian Og), Sai Daeng Bay and Shark Island to the east. The short walk up to John Suwan Viewpoint is almost as pretty as the view itself. Winding through coconut groves and looking down onto the crystal blue waters below. The walk itself only takes around 15 minutes and is steep in parts. The track is well maintained and there are some guideline ropes to hold in some of the more tricky sections.

Shark Bay Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Secret beach on Koh Tao
Getting There - Shark Bay is a small hidden beach and is just a short drive from Chalok Bay. The drive there is stunning as it’s located on the top of a hill. It’s easy to miss it completely as there is only a very small sign.
Attractions - Expect to walk down a steep path that should take about 5minutes. I only noticed bikes parked there so if you have a car, it might be best to read about parking before going here.
Hotels - Ta To Seaview resort is nearby.
Food & Restaurants - When you reach the beach, you’ll find a lively bar selling drinks. They encourage you not to bring your own drinks so make sure to support the bar if you do have your own drinks.
People come here for swimming, relaxing and socializing. Such a hidden gem and a must visit when on Koh Tao #beachvibes #secretbeach #thailandtravel
First Time Snorkeling
It’s my fist time snorkeling for me (non-swimmer)
So excited and panic but everything was ok. Wonderful to see underwater.
Swim with the sharks in natural habitat. Stay at Haad Tien Resort and drink at night at Natural High Cafe. Best way to spend time when you travel alone. Koh Tao has all of that beauty to offer. Please travel responsibly and help save Koh Tao from bad tourisim and garbage. #merrychristmas

Stunning Samui Island in Bangkok 😍
#cherryblossom2024 🌸
The "lying flat" vacation paradise on Samui Island is only about an hour away from Bukit Samui Island in Bangkok.
This beautiful paradise is home to a vast number of people and beautiful scenery. I stayed at Chaven Beach Garden Resort for the first two days, and then at Kimpton for the second two days. When I left the hotel in a bustling area, I could go shopping, stroll in the night market, and eat delicious food. However, the surrounding area was too noisy at night, and I couldn't sleep well.
However, the hotel's swimming pool, beach, and breakfast services were all very good. In the evening, I ordered a glass at the hotel's bar, blew the sea breeze, had a small vine, or went to the bustling market outside to eat, stroll, and jump. It's not bad to meet more people from Europe and America. In the next two days, Kingston is the opposite of this hotel, very quiet and even fewer people. It feels like a pool and beach are included, but it feels like it's for Chinese people. Most of them are Chinese people, and the environment inside is not to mention "playing with the hotel". Sleep until you wake up naturally, have breakfast, and then you can "lie flat" on the lounge chair next to his pool Ordering the same cup of drink, eating ice cream, and then going for a swim to enjoy the tranquility is simply not too enjoyable.
You can also play kayaking for free for half an hour, but you can do horse racing and chicken killing before 5 pm, but you need to make an appointment in advance. The staff will also be off work at 5 pm, and there is one hour of free Happy Hour from 5 pm to 6 pm. You can drink his vines and snacks.
However, the location is relatively remote, and the hotel is not as bustling. There is nothing to go around, so you can only take a taxi to Coco Tams. Speaking of Coco Tams, it is not as good as I imagined. In fact, after watching the Spark Show at the beach, you can go to the night market.
💡Before going, you can watch other people's guides. You can rent a motorcycle, but the two of us... One is that I feel unsafe, two is that I heard I have to hide from the police, and three is that I need to mortgage my passport. If I don't want to, I won't rent it. All I have to do is take a taxi to various places.

Thailand's 8 most beautiful islands, each worth visiting again and again!
🏝️Phuket
Developed early, with a well-rounded life and commercial facilities, the tourism industry is also very developed, with basically all underwater and water activities, a wealth of entertainment projects, eat, drink and play in one, the public choice~
-
🏝️Koh Samui
Compared to Phuket, Koh Samui has more of a tropical island feel because it is densely covered with coconut groves and islands, the distance between the islands is very close, and the commercial life and entertainment facilities are also very rich.
Honeymoon Island, there are many high-end hotels (Six Senses, Banyan Tree, Ritz Carlton, etc.)
-
🏝️Koh Samet
Koh Samet is about 3~4 hours away from Bangkok, near Pattaya, it is a lesser-known white sand beach, not so commercialized.
-
🏝️Krabi
Krabi is more like a hidden island town in the mountains, with a slow pace of life, not only has a pure blue coastline, but also a unique karst landscape.
-
🏝️Phi Phi Island
Phi Phi Island is an offshore island of Krabi, the towering mountains on the sea paired with the blue sea water is breathtaking, the natural rock caves formed between the mountains are even more surprising
-
🏝️Similan
The Similan Islands are a national marine park, with excellent ecological protection, composed of 9 islands, extremely suitable for snorkeling!!
-
🏝️Koh Chang
Koh Chang is also a small island with a well-protected ecological environment, there are many undeveloped islands around, many beaches and primitive forests have not been developed, full of natural quiet atmosphere!
-
🏝️Koh Lipe
Koh Lipe is located on the southernmost coast, bordering Malaysia, away from the hustle and bustle, not overly developed, the ecological environment is very good, known as the small Maldives of Thailand, is a diving paradise in Thailand.
The water quality is very good, clearly layered, from the crystal clear jelly green, gradually to sky blue, and finally to the deep blue gem color, each layer makes people feel incredibly stunning!
