The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, and dining. What was really frustrating is that I booked through an agent, and the amount I was told to pay at check-in was significantly less than what the hotel actually charged. When I contacted Trip.com, they said the agent told them the final payment should be based on what the hotel charges, and that I should negotiate with the hotel directly. I absolutely cannot accept this kind of buck-passing, or even fraudulent, behavior from an agent. Trip.com eventually compensated me for my loss, so they were quite proactive in resolving the issue. I strongly advise everyone to avoid booking through agents; they need to be held accountable for their actions!

I've stayed at this hotel twice before for my Hawaii vacations, and the service has always been great. Since most flights arrive around 11:00 AM, I've usually been able to check in early for free if there was an available room, allowing me to go straight to sleep. However, this time I had to wait until after 4:00 PM for check-in. To get into a room immediately, I was asked to pay an extra $150. Given the time difference and my urgent need for rest, I agreed to the $150 surcharge. But then I was told that if I switched to a different room type, it would be an additional $80 per night, and they would waive the initial $150. First, I have to say the hotel is very good at marketing. Second, it would be much better if the hotel booking website clearly listed early check-in prices. That way, I could book it in advance online and get into my room to rest sooner!

I specially booked this hotel to watch the fireworks on Friday. The location is really a plus, and it is very close to the fireworks beach. The sea view room has a good view. Outside the window is the yacht dock, and there is the sea in the distance. The night atmosphere is full. Next to it is the Hilton Resort. The surrounding environment is very comfortable. There is also the largest outlet nearby, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. I am very satisfied with the overall experience.

Excellent location right in front of Waikiki Beach. There's a quiet lounge with drink service, and the view from the lounge is also superb. It gets a bit warm inside the pods, so it would be even better if the air conditioning could be adjusted.

I was a bit skeptical about the feel of the area and the hotel, but everything worked great. The location is perfect and about a five minute walk from the beach. The room was clean when I entered, and set to 61 degrees F. The room looks a bit dated, but the hot water is superb and the bed comfortable. For the price point, this is an amazing value in Waikiki.

The staff was great, very friendly and helpful! Great location.  Would definitely stay there again. The hotel appears a little dated, with old, stained carpet, but I believe they are remodeling.

Best place to stay if you visit HNL! The hotel is quite far away from Waikiki, but its worth it. Parking is relatively cheap since you are paying resort fee. Room has balcony and very big bed! Loved staying here! will def come back. Staff were very helpful and friendly also!

This hotel is super convenient as you can take the 'W' line bus directly from Honolulu Airport. It's about a 10-minute walk to Waikiki Beach, and it's located on a street lined with famous Waikiki hotels. Royal Hawaiian Center is also within walking distance. There are ABC Stores, supermarkets, and a DEAN & DELUCA on the first floor of the Ritz-Carlton Residences all nearby. I've stayed here several times. I chose a twin room, and it came with two queen-sized beds, which was very comfortable. The only minor downside was that the air conditioning was a bit noisy, but if you turned it off and used the ceiling fan, it was still cool enough. The bathroom had a bathtub, and while there wasn't a hand shower, adjusting the water temperature was easy, so it wasn't an issue. The cleaning was thorough, and the room was spotless. The hairdryer was in a black bag inside the closet. They provided a capsule coffee maker with both coffee and tea capsules, which was a nice touch. There was also a refrigerator, microwave, and iron. While there's no bottled mineral water service in the room, there's a free water dispenser next to the front desk where you can fill your own bottle or cup. The complimentary breakfast was simple but sufficient, and the taste was good. Given the high cost of living in Hawaii, I was very satisfied with the reasonable stay here.

I was invited by a friend to stay at a different hotel, so I decided to stay here because the price was reasonable. The pets are allowed out through the wall. The sound of the club on the first floor was not so much of a problem. I was leaving early in the morning, so I could hear the people having fun. The shower wall was a little dirty, but there was no problem with the water pressure or temperature. It took me a while to figure out that you had to push it up instead of just turn it. The shower is removable, so it's easy to wash. The air conditioner can be turned off manually, so the ceiling fan was enough when I went to sleep. The front desk only speaks English, but the Japanese translation on my cell phone is fine. I'll be relieved if the deposit digital pot is properly refunded. I paid by credit card, so I wonder if it will be later? There were enough bath towels for three nights. Also, the window does not open. There is a towel rental service to go to the beach. The front desk is unmanned at 10pm, so I was given the key to the entrance, but I couldn't open it properly, so a black woman who was staying at the same hotel helped me.

I personally think this hotel offers great value for money. The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's a direct 30-minute bus ride from the airport, dropping you right at the entrance. The bus stop right outside takes me to all the places I want to go, like the morning market, morning yoga classes, ranches, Diamond Head, and more. Waikiki Beach is just a 15-minute walk away, and a 10-minute drive gets you to the pier for whale-watching cruises. I've tried all the restaurants nearby, and the food is pretty good. The bar at the hotel across the street has live music on weekends, perfect for a casual drink. I'm very satisfied. The hotel also offers free yoga classes. By the pool, there's complimentary cooling and soothing aloe vera gel and sunscreen, which is super convenient to apply before heading out.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nice for the price of low $223 but they charge $45 per day of activity fees but I never used. The location is about 10 minutes walk from the central Waikiki area but is OK. The breakfast buffet is good and includes in the room package. The only problem is that they only have valet parking for $60 per day. It took them 45 minutes in the morning to get my car down on day 1 and we missed the tour. The other days were 10 to 15 minutes. I guess they don’t have enough parking so they have to double park and triple park. I tried to park at the adjacent Banyan lot but all full after 8pm. There are no other viable option other than valet parking in the hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a great stay at Ala Moana hotel. Hotel is connected to a very large mall which gives access to many shops and food outlets. The hotel is well located in walking distance to the yacht harbor and even Waikiki beach. Staff is very friendly and all kinds of facilities are available. Breakfast is generally good, but unfortunately the food selection doesn't really change, so if you stay a bit longer it could get a bit boring

Mahalo!

MManaSuisseExcept for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat in your room as there is no other places to eat. This breakfast is a joke :(

JJordan NicholasNestled along the serene shores of Waikoloa, the Hilton Waikoloa Village is a haven of luxury and tranquility. Our recent stay at this breathtaking resort was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service, stunning accommodations, and picturesque surroundings. RRenjianmeiyoutaifengWhen you first arrived at the hotel and looked for a parking lot, you discovered that parking costs fifty dollars a day. For a househusband or a couple traveling together, you feel that these fifty dollars are not worth it because it is not close enough to the hotel. Then you hurriedly found the front desk, but they couldn't find your reservation because the three hotels were combined. You need to take a 1km/h train to reach your front desk. Then after a long wait, a voice of aloha called your attention back. After your soft and hard offensive, the hotel finally agreed to your request to check out at 11 o'clock, and upgraded you to a seafront room. Sure enough, you were awakened by the noise of birds the next day, and the running and crying of children made you feel that you were not on vacation. Okay, I can't make it up anymore. It's a good hotel.

GGuest UserI would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they’re a very deep sleeper. The road noise is impossible to sleep with. I’ll be complaining soon and seeking a part refund. Even with earplugs I couldn’t sleep enough. (There was also no bottled water. Even in countries with drinking tap water, hotel rooms get theirs from tanks so it’s not recommended.)

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is better than expected; You can tell that they went through a massive renovation in order to give a chill vibes based stay (on the outside). Inside of the room, it’s definitely an old hotel… I liked the furniture, but the windows were too open for my liking (you get the feeling that anyone can look into your room); Not as much of an issue since we used the curtains! The bath towels were covered in hair (ranging from long strands to tiny ***** pieces) which I found to be disgusting. The staff were more than willing to switch out the towels (there was still hair on them but a little dusting off mainly did the job). There was tiny ***** hair pieces in the bathtub as well, but I washed them down the drain so no biggie. The main issue that I had with this stay was that you could hear everything that was going on in rooms next door or outside. We heard loud screaming and fighting into the early ams, and it took a while for them to stop. This is not the hotel’s fault, but if you do stay here, keep in mind that the rooms aren’t very spacious, you can hear everything, and there might be hair in your towels. Overall, I really loved staying here and found it to be quite charming. The view in front of the hotel is INSANE. Though I listed negative traits about this hotel, I feel that it’s important to give some transparency to readers of this review. Mostly everyone goes into a hotel thinking that it’s 1000% clean and perfect. However, for me, the negative reviews are what I look for so that I know what to expect. You will definitely love the vibes and views this hotel has to offer, as well as the friendliness of the staff who worlds here.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on Waikiki Commercial Street, next to the beach. There is direct access to the beach from the swimming pool. There are many commercial restaurants and shops around, which is very convenient. The room is relatively large, the room type is a bit old, the overall hygiene is good, and the price can be a little cheaper.
