I was just passing through, waiting for my flight. The hostel was very clean. The receptionist was very nice.
I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the quality of the bed and linens, but everything else seemed fine. Thank you very much!

A taxi to the hotel was already 6:30 pm. There was no waiter reception at the entrance, and a few luggage was pushed by themselves. Arrived on the floor, no lights were on, very dim. The room is OK, in fact, it is an executive suite, it is a bit too much to call a presidential suite. The living room and bathroom have heating, the room is not open, you have to open it yourself.

Все отлично, номер хороший, но печально, что я предварительно созвонился с администратором, согласовал все нюансы по поводу размещения моей семьи, согласовал какой лучше забронировать, на сайте мне сделали скидку за аренду, но по итогу в гостинице меня заставили доплатить еще стоимость номера

We chose this hotel again for our return trip, this time opting for a twin room. The previous king-size bed had a very soft mattress; it would wobble with the slightest movement from the person next to us. Light sleepers should be cautious when choosing a king-size bed. The single bed was a rare find here, measuring 1.2 meters, and quite comfortable. The only drawback was that there was only one power outlet between the two beds (unlike the king-size room which had one on each side of the bed), but there were four USB ports for charging, which was a bit slow but still usable.
There were quite a few Chinese guests, and the restaurant provided disposable chopsticks 😂, as well as a variety of teas to choose from (not tea bags). The fried eggs, though slow, were presented with a very elegant presentation 😄.

Warm, clean, delicious breakfast.
The hotel's location isn't very convenient. There are no supermarkets nearby. We checked in late and couldn't even buy food. Otherwise, everything was fine. We were able to pay an extra fee for a late checkout.

BaikalSKI Hostel - The hostel is located in the center of Baikalsk, within walking distance (450 m) from Lake Baikal. A ten-minute drive from the hostel is the Baikal ski resort "Mount Sobolinaya". Shuttle buses to the resort stop at the central square, which is located next to the hostel.

Hygiene: Clean and hygienic, with a pleasant fragrance upon entering.
Environment: The interior is nice, but the exterior is all dirt roads. The location is rather remote, far from the main road and restaurants.
Service: The owner, Mike, provides excellent service. He and his family prepare the meals, and English is fluent.

I don't know where the hotel reception is. I waited downstairs for an hour and was able to meet a waiter to check me in. There was nothing else to do except waiting downstairs. The phone was answered by a robot.
Other aspects were good. We lived in Room 73 on the 7th floor. The room was spacious and bright, and the sofa bed could accommodate 4 people. The kitchen was suitable for cooking and had complete tableware. There was a supermarket downstairs, which was convenient for shopping.

Замечательный , отзывчивый персонал- начиная с ресепшн, заканчивая доставкой в номер из ресторана. Завтраки замечательные, в уютном ресторане. Еда в ресторане Охотников -отдельная история! Огромные порции, вкусная еда..и , для особенно привередливых, маленьких гостей приготовят и кашу и пюре с салатиком🙏Очень признательна персоналу! Любая просьба по звонку на ресепшн выполняется мгновенно, без долгих ожиданий - и со стороны горничной и с ресторана. Спасибо за Ваш труд! Больше не буду искать другие варианты, останавливаться будем только в Звезде🫶🏻

LlizsangI was initially going to give it four stars… but when we checked in, we had an 8-year-old child with us, and the handsome young man at the front desk said it would cost extra. I argued that we didn't need an extra bed, and that I had brought my own toiletries for the child, and he still made the exception! So, I'll still give it five stars! The front desk staff were all incredibly attractive! And their English was the best we've heard since arriving from Lake Baikal! They probably cater to Chinese customers a lot, as the restaurant even has a Chinese menu! The rooms were exactly as described on the platform! They even provided complimentary snacks in the evening, but they were too sweet for us. The location was also great, about 2km from everywhere! However, Iraq isn't very big. The only downside was the Wi-Fi – it was a bit weak, not even as good as the signal at our hotel in Lake Baikal! Haha! I highly recommend the venison restaurant in the last picture! The venison was incredibly delicious! Great value for money! Don't buy the fish in Ryukyu… it was awful…
