The location is close to the center/station. The disadvantage is that the curtains in the room are not shaded. I was awakened by the sun early in the morning. The hair dryer only has warm air, no hot air, and the long hair has been blowing for a long time. The host Lily introduced the hotel very kindly.
reception sympathy
availability of gym
access to the pool by the hall of the hotel and through the bar
small lunch - only 1 variety of cheese and fiber, yogurts with inadequate conditioning
The hotel service remains 100%.
The staff are always helpful and attentive, the breakfast is always very good and varied. The comfort of the room is excellent, as is the cleanliness. The gardens are well-maintained, and the pool and jacuzzi always have warm water. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with the Caima River right next to the hotel, great for walks or bike rides.
In the restaurant, the service has been improving; you no longer have to wait as long to be served as before. As for the quality of the food, in my opinion (since I am a frequent customer of the hotel/restaurant), it is still far below what it once was, which was very good.
Overall, for me, the hotel is an excellent place for a relaxing getaway.
The hotel was perfect, the attention was excellent and very fast check in. Parking at the hotel door free and very accessible if you carry baggage or cars.
The hotel was able to accommodate a slightly early check in. The room itself was clean but the carpet stained.
Outdoor pool was under renovations and made use of the indoor pool and hot tub (make sure to reserve a time slot upon check in).
There is free parking on the street or in an underground garage that has a very steep ramp.
Breakfast was decent and had eggs, mushrooms, sausage, yogurt, and pastries. The coffee could have been better.
First we were given a room that was still being cleaned when we checked in.
Next morning there was no hot water to shower.
Staff reveals poor skills in handling adverse situations and comunicating with clients.
Stay away.
Hotel with excellent rooms, great food and very good service, especially the very attentive young people, such as Joana and Bárbara at the reception. In the restaurant: Beatriz, Daniela, Bruno and Paulo.
I had the opportunity to talk to them and they were always very helpful. The hotel has a great spa, the only thing it loses out on is that it is outside and there is no gym.
Another thing I found good was the bathroom, with a shower and very modern.
Worth a try, a real palace hotel, a display of stone and wood carving art, with elaborate and luxurious furnishings. The garden is a French regular pattern, carefully maintained. The area of the suite is much larger than the marked area. The butler service is in place. The dinner food is sufficient, the only drawback is that the cod is salty, and the shrimp rice is also salty, and I didn't finish the two dishes
Bem localizado, mas quarto demasiado quente devido ao motor do frigobar

Very Good
AAirwalk365Great place, having indoor pool & spa was really nice for cold/rainy days. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was quite good also. Very good experience overall.
EErich EPHThis is a nice hotel, right on the beach. Although the hotel café might not have much of a menu, a two minutes walk is a very nice seafood restaurant.
GGuest UserA grand hotel in the old style. It was undergoing significant renovation while I stayed, so they're clearly making an effort to remain competitive. Staff was courteous and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant was tasty and filling at a good price. All in all an excellent value. My only complaint is the strong musty odor in my room. Fortunately the weather was good so I could open the windows wide, but the hotel really needs to eliminate the source of the smell. I didn't know before visiting Luso that it's famous for the quality of its water. The photo show the spouts in the center of town where locals come to fill their containers.
SSalopian125Hotel Jardim is centrally located and within walking distance of most things. The room I was in was very clean and had aircon etc. It was not far off from needing refurbished, but the bed was comfortable and I slept well. I never used the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. The pastry shop mentioned on other reviews is exceptional and is great value for money. I went there for breakfast and was not disappointed. Would I go back to Hotel Jardim..... Yes Parking is in the bays at the front of the hotel and on one side of street on which the hotel sits on.
JJanusz z OlsztynaIf someone is looking for a non-commercial place, but at the same time warm, friendly and naturally composed, then this is a 100% sure choice: without the advantage of form over substance, excellent cuisine (I recommend buying the HB option, it's worth it!), very friendly staff, no crowds and full harmony with the surrounding nature. The location on the lagoon itself adds an additional touch of nature. Away from the hustle and bustle, without rushing. You may get the impression that time slows down here a bit, or maybe it flows differently?
GGuest UserStayed one night. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. The only problem was the coffee machine didn’t work at the breakfast buffet.
The hotel is in a good location, not far from center of Aveiro, only 10-15 mins walk and parking is easy to find. The room is clean and the bed is good, the only problem I found was that there were not enough charging sockets, there is only 2 USB type A chargers next to the bed, and nowadays most chargers are USB C to USB C so I couldn't use those chargers and had to unplug the table lamp in order to charge. The breakfast is good, a good variety of options.
