Stayed for 3 nights. Was upgraded from standard room to superior room. Hotel reception are friendly, particularly Amalie which has bubbly character, it was a great experience dealing with her, great start for my stay. Nice, warm and comfortable room. This room type has a Nespresso machine, you can also make tea with the kettle provided. Good breakfast, plenty of choices including fried rice. There is a sauna and gym with majestic view. Airport bus dropped me off directly just opposite this hotel. The pick up point for most northern light tours are nearby. Overall it was a great stay and highly recommended.

Room was more spacious than expected - can open 2 large suitcases comfortably, with space to walk around. Loved that we had 2 pillows each, kettle, and there were enough hooks & hangers. Location was excellent. Breakfast was a good spread. Overall very pleased at value for Scandinavia.

There is a small bed in the room, and my little friend directly said that he wanted to sleep on the small bed (he would not sleep on it at home). It's just that there is no elevator on the third floor, so it's a bit tiring to move boxes. The restaurant service is good.

The room was small, and there were very few power outlets. The USB socket on one side of the bedside was broken, but I was able to borrow a power strip with three outlets from the front desk, and they told me there were more outlets under the bed. Without that power strip, there would only have been two outlets plus one USB port available by the window. If you leave early, the hotel front desk offers a simple breakfast, which was decent. During normal breakfast hours, gluten-free options are also available. The shower stall in the bathroom was very small, making it a bit awkward for a woman to shower comfortably. The floor tiles in the shower had a steep slope for drainage, so I had to really grip with my feet to avoid bumping into the right-angled, double-door shower enclosure. The front desk staff member who checked me in on the first day was quite good; she informed us that the aurora would be very strong that night and the next, advising us to keep an eye on the sky.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. It's a convenient location with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation. I would recommend it to others looking for a reliable place to stay.

The apartment hotel is located in the prosperous area on the east side of the island, close to various attractions, and convenient for shopping. You can also go to the supermarket and fish market to purchase local seafood. The apartment has an induction cooker and all kinds of cooking utensils for your own cooking.

Love the smart hotel, easy check in. Perfect location with bus, ferry terminal, groceries, shopping mall all within 5 minute walk. The room is also spacious. Definitely value for money. I will recommend all to stay when you are in Harstad.

Hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade after knowing that we were travelling for our honeymoon! Room was clean and spacious. Toilet floor was heated, definite plus point!

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

Our best stay for the trip. The room is very big, clean and fully equipped. Good location, walking distance to the ferry terminal and 15 mins by bus to the airport. The bus stop is just the next street of the apartment. Shopping, groceries, eateries are all nearby. Lucky to see the northern light on the first night outside our apartment. Strongly recommend all to stay when you are in Tromso.
