Environment: The overwater villa was very clean, and the sofa bed had already been made up for us upon arrival. We booked a south-facing room with a pool, and we could see the Saii overwater villas. North-facing rooms might have views of construction on islands around Malé in the distance, which makes it feel less secluded. Service: Almost all services were managed through the app. The staff were all very nice. A big thanks to the hotel doctor – my child had a fever starting the day before we arrived, so we weren't really in the mood to play. The doctor diagnosed it as gastroenteritis and prescribed paracetamol, oral rehydration salts, and probiotics. By the time we left, my child was much better. Food: There were many restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. Not so ideal: 1. On the first day, we couldn't find the staff holding a sign for airport pickup. After walking through a long corridor, we found the counter by the jetty. The staff asked us to wait in the nearby lounge while they arranged the boat. The wait was a bit long, and coupled with my child's fever, it was a bit unpleasant. We actually misjudged him; the hotel had sent an email stating that we'd have to wait for other guests to join the boat, but it would have been better to have a specific timetable. 2. There were many Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian dishes, with some Japanese and Korean options on themed days. It would be great to have more Chinese-themed options. 3. The lobby had no air conditioning, so waiting for the transfer on the last day after check-out was quite hot.

A. Family trip, two villas. One sunset deluxe beach pool villa, and one sunset beach pool villa. 1. The deluxe villa is very luxurious and new, with air conditioning in the bathroom, but it's far from the restaurant and relatively further from the beach compared to non-deluxe rooms. 2. The regular villa is next to the restaurant, very close to the main pool and the lobby. However, it's older than the deluxe villa and its bathroom doesn't have air conditioning. B. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé airport. C. We bought the full board package. The restaurant specializes in Indian cuisine, which we really enjoyed. Juices and beverages are only available at breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can only order à la carte; soft drinks are $5, juices are $10, plus an additional 27% service charge and tax. Haha... D. The excursions are too expensive, it really hurt my wallet (see picture). It's better to book them on a local island. E. You can snorkel near the overwater bungalows and the jetty, but there aren't many marine creatures, and the water quality is just average. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money. Next time, I definitely need to visit a local island, it's so much more economical... PS. It's best to download WhatsApp in advance. Our butler didn't really use WeChat and was often unreachable...

Let's start with the positives: The food on Ganfan Island was truly excellent and perfectly suited our family's taste. The Thai and Bo restaurants were both delicious, and Midi was also delicious. It's right by the pool, and there's a super nice ********* lady who I consider my favorite waitress on the entire island. The black guy who greeted us upon arrival was the worst in my opinion. He chewed gum, was inattentive, and never smiled. Fortunately, he realized he had trouble communicating with me (his English was limited), so he replaced us with a Malaysian guy, who immediately put me back on vacation. The rest of the staff on the island were all very good. Secondly, the value was excellent. A four-night all-inclusive water bungalow for 22,000 yuan was fantastic (5,000 yuan a night is cheaper than some hotels in Sanya), and there's a 20-dollar daily credit per person that can be used off-island. With kids in tow, and wanting a smooth island landing in the afternoon, this was a no-brainer. It was a no-brainer. We were literally in our room in just seven minutes. Cons: It's close to Male, offering a panoramic view of the entire city. One side almost faces it, and at night, it's dotted with lights. The snorkeling is average, with almost no fish beneath the overwater bungalows. After just one snorkel, I felt too lazy to get in the water or change clothes. The pool was fine. Overall, it's suitable for beginners (I've visited various islands at least 20 times), so it wasn't particularly impressive. It's a great place for families with children to relax and take their kids out. The island is neither too big nor too small.

As a resort offering great value for money, we were all very satisfied. At the airport, look for your contact person at counters A17-18 to arrange your speedboat transfer. Firstly, this island is connected to the Hard Rock Hotel and Marina Hotel, which means you get to experience three islands in one. You can move freely between them, and there are 11 restaurants in total. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe chain restaurant one evening, and dinner for four cost us $200. We stayed for 3 nights, rotating between a Sky Room, an Overwater Villa, and a Beach Villa, one night each. The difference between the Sky Room and the Beach Villa is that the Sky Room is on the second floor with better views, while the Beach Villa is on the ground floor with direct access to the beach from the balcony. Each has its pros and cons. The Overwater Villas have room numbers starting with 1, and you can directly access the sea for snorkeling. The hotel has an app called 'SAii'. You can use it by scanning the QR code on your room TV upon check-in. It's available in Chinese. You can use it to request transfer buggies and sign up for many free activities. I initially thought we'd just relax for three days, but it turned into a bit of an 'intensive' trip with so much to do! Diamond members have a happy hour from 5-6 PM, offering three types of snacks/canapés and unlimited complimentary drinks and alcoholic beverages. We ate instant noodles on the first and third nights, and at Hard Rock on the second night. With happy hour snacks and drinks, plus breakfast, we had plenty to eat. The hotel breakfast was quite good, though it was always a bit windy due to the sea breeze. The speedboat transfer to and from the island takes 15 minutes, but it's very hot and stuffy inside. Our group of four tipped the butler $20 in total. For the overwater villa, they allowed us to check in at 11 AM, and we moved to a different room at 2 PM the next day. We tipped $2 each time for luggage transfers. As we moved rooms daily, we didn't tip for daily housekeeping. The hotel offers complimentary rental of snorkels, masks, and fins. We even saw a sea turtle up close during one of the free activities. Diamond members can also rent paddle boats and yellow kayaks for free for one hour daily. Bicycle rental on the island costs $10 for 24 hours. In the evenings, you can find many small crabs 🦀 and hermit crabs 🐚 on the beach. Recommendations: Bring instant noodles and snacks to the island, and a swimming float from home if you want to just relax in the water. The island accepts USD, or you can use Alipay/WeChat Pay.

This is a perfect place for a good holiday! The hotel is really clean and brand-new. The rooms are very cosy, cleaned every day, the view from the balcony is really nice. Talking about the food, it can seem simple, but actually it’s very tasty and nutritious, you never feel hungry. The desserts are also really nice. The working team is very friendly, they always try to do their best. We also went fishing from the hotel, guys were really helpful, everything was amazing. If you’re not sure about this place because of some reviews, I should tell you, that if a person wants to find something bad, he definitely will. Island is small, yes, but that’s good, not so many people are there, the beach and water is clean, you still have some shops with everything you need. We have never smelt any smell from the trash burning mentioned in the reviews. We would definitely recommend this place, it has been one of our best experiences with sea holidays so far. What can be improved for the hotel: if you have an opportunity, add more sun beds to the beach with the umbrellas. It’s not that bad, but probably not always enough for all your tourists. All the rest was just amazing! We would like to come back!

Very nice and comfortable accommodation. Went with a friend of mine back in October 2023, and we were greeted by a warm friendly receptionist and a clean lobby. Our room was on the second floor, with very comfortable beds, toilets, and necessary amenities. Except that the sink's tap water smelled a little funny which we avoided using. However the reception was quick to send over whatever we requested, like water, clean towels etc. Would definitely book again if i ever visit Himmafushi again next time!

Unforgettable Highlights Snorkeling from the Villa: One of the best parts of the stay was being able to jump straight into the crystal clear water for snorkeling right under my room. The marine life is vibrant and right at your doorstep. Dolphins at Breakfast: Imagine sipping your morning coffee and watching dolphins play in the distance. We were lucky enough to spot them during breakfast, which was a magical way to start the day. Stargazing: During serene night, either near the beach or while you slowly brisk walking back to your room, it’s surely the perfect place to just enjoy the Maldivian night sky with the beautiful shining stars smiling at you. The Staff: The service here is world-class. Every staff member is genuinely kind, attentive, and dedicated to making your stay perfect. They really go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home. The Perfect Cure for Burnout The atmosphere at Grand Park Kodhipparu is incredibly quiet and private. It is the perfect place to sit with a book, listen to the waves, and clear your mind. I left the island feeling like a new person, with a renewed spirit and a calm heart. Final Verdict: A 10/10 experience. Whether you are seeking luxury or a deep mental reset, this is the place to be. We cannot recommend it enough! 😘

Rooms are clean with sea view, with basic amenities with daily water, tea/ coffee, and towels are provided.Special thanks to Abishek from HK he was very attentive he acknowledges my request and resolved very quickly as my bathroom faucet was leaking. Food & Drinks: Wide buffet & à la carte options at affordable prices, with non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner with live music made evenings extra special. Sisha option was also a alternative choice as island not serving alcohol. Breakfast buffet was good healthy choice with friendly service staff specially Hasan ali (friendly and professional man) Abash attentive and prompt service.Hasim/mahmood and one indian lady from Lucknow( good recommendation and suggestive selling) Nightlife & Activities: Relaxing and charming nightlife. Night vibes was really amazing dining ambience is same as five star resort level. Water sports like stingrays and sharks snorkelling and Sandbank full days tours were unforgettable. Reservations cheking and checkout processes was little tired For guests on long journeys who arrive early at the airport (e.g., 9:00 AM) but have transfers to the island only at 13:00, consider providing alternative options such as a comfortable lounge, refreshments, or earlier boat transfers. Waiting 4+ hours after a long 9-hour flight can be tiring, so small adjustments would greatly improve guest experience. Our stay at Bandos Maldives was truly magical, from the moment we stepped onto the island to our farewell breakfast. The island itself is beautiful: well-maintained tropical gardens, clean and comfortable rooms with lagoon views, diverse and delicious cuisine, and a plethora of options for both active and relaxed leisure – from snorkeling by the reef to spa treatments and water sports. Everything was flawlessly organized with genuine attention to guests. We especially want to highlight the atmosphere: the team at Bandos does everything to make your vacation effortless and joyful. The staff was consistently polite and smiling, quick to address any requests, and the service was thoughtful and unobtrusive. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness, order, and efficiency at the reception and in the restaurant. Special thanks go to Lepkha, the bar staff member – her warm and attentive service made our evenings truly cozy. Lepkha not only expertly prepared cocktails but also tailored drinks to our mood, offered excellent recommendations, and always greeted us with a smile. Her care and sincerity left the warmest impressions and made our holiday unforgettable. We recommend Bandos Maldives to anyone looking for a combination of relaxed island living and high-level service. Saw lots of sharks,fish, sting Ray ,few turtle near by the water villa .every thing you can eat , drink . No extra fee.
