the room itself is a bit small but I think it's nice, esp for a solo traveller. it's new and has a window as well, with TV and a small comfy armchair. for the price I paid, no complaint. heard a lot about the area but I think it's okay. there are homeless people, yes, but you're right in the proximity of a police station if you feel unsafe. and I think it's a pretty safe area, and much much nicer than the US (than Seattle at least).
just that the receptionist is not so friendly

The location of the hotel is great, close to many of the attractions and especially if you love food. The staff was kind, but the room was not clean, also all the towels contained hair from other people which is not very convenient when traveling with a baby. Also don’t understand that the rooftop bar closes at 9pm while it apparently has a great view..

The hotel is located near the heart of Dotonbori, close to Don Donki, and within walking distance of Shinsaibashi and Namba. There is a 7-Eleven right outside, as well as a tax-free drugstore, which is very convenient.
Check-in and check-out were both fast and smooth. You can leave your luggage at the hotel, but it is at your own risk. I hope next time they will take better care of the luggage, similar to other nearby hotels.
Our water closet bidet was not working properly during our stay. The Super Twin Room was clean and spacious, which we appreciated. However, we hope the pillows can be a bit fluffier, as they were quite flat. It would also be better if there were two pillows provided per bed for added comfort
Location consider near Shin-Osaka station, we booked hotel breakfast for 5 days, a bit boring on the breakfast selection but the taste not too bad. Hotel room seem very new but the bed and table a bit dusty even though everyday got make up room service, anyway overall is good. The most remarkable experience is there are many amenities like cotton buds, face soap, hair wax and some others even like candies are free flow to take by all hotel guests at the hotel concierge area.
I was a bit worried because of the low price, but the location was great and the room was clean. Many of the staff were non-Japanese, but I had absolutely no trouble communicating. There's not much to complain about, but if I had to pick something, the grout in the bathroom seemed a little dirty. However, considering the good price, convenient location, and clean room which was exactly as pictured, it's a place I'd definitely want to stay at again if I visit Osaka in the future.

The hotel is very comfortable. The room is clean and large, but the bathroom is a bit cramped and there's limited storage space. The kitchen and laundry facilities are available 24 hours. The only downside is that the hotel is located in a former social housing area, with a lot of homeless people around. Many can be aggressive but probably not dangerous. They also leave a lot of trash on the street.

This hotel is located in Yodoyabashi, just one subway stop away from Umeda, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are excellent. The lobby on the 15th floor offers expansive views, almost like a sky garden. The room itself is a bit small, and there isn't enough space to fully open a suitcase.
During the cherry blossom season, it was very busy. The Western breakfast had a long queue, but the Japanese breakfast had virtually no wait. It's a shame there was no curry (though the Western restaurant had it) – a strange setup! Honestly, everything else was great. It's right next to Shinsaibashi, separated by just one street, so shopping was super convenient. The airport shuttle bus made getting to and from the airport really easy. A special thanks to the baggage staff, especially a girl from Northeast China (I forgot to ask her name), who helped us carry our luggage up and down floors and get a taxi after we checked out. That service was truly exceptional.

Pictures in the reviews can't seem to capture the actual look of the hotel facilities. I was expecting the facilities and amenities to be outdated but to my surprise , it wad quite the opposite ! The beds were comfortable and electrical appliances were working perfectly. For such a cheap price, I was delighted to stay in this hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel.

AAnonymous UserComing from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~
GGuest UserThe hotel is right by the subway, but we ended up taking a long detour following our navigation. The back entrance is really close to the park's main gate, which was super convenient and comfortable for walking back to the hotel when the park closed around 9 PM.
However, check-in at the hotel was quite slow, and they didn't provide any power adapters. Breakfast seating was limited, so we had to queue up and wait a long time to get in. Eating outside in the cold wasn't ideal, but at least we could hear the screams from the roller coasters (ಥ⌣ಥ).
There's a commercial street nearby that also sells Universal merchandise, which was great for picking up last-minute souvenirs before we left.
Overall, I'd definitely stay at this hotel again next time and have already recommended it to friends. The convenience for families with kids is the most important factor.
BBTboysI had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Osaka. The service at the front desk was excellent. I would like to especially thank Ms. Noto for her kind and patient assistance in helping me find the best way to the airport. I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Osaka!

GGuest UserI stayed at FL Hotel Dotonbori for two nights. When I arrived at Osaka Station, I was happy that the hotel was within walking distance, so getting there was very easy.
The hotel is located slightly behind the main Dotonbori area, but it’s still close enough to walk to all the main attractions. The location is definitely convenient.
When you enter the hotel, the amenities are placed in front of the reception, so you need to pick up whatever you need from the lobby before going up to your room. They provide pajamas, slippers, and other basic amenities.
One nice thing is that they offer free breakfast every morning. It’s simple, just two pieces of bread per person and hot drinks, but it’s still a nice touch. Everything is set up in front of the reception, and you can take it back to your room.
For me, there were a few downsides. I noticed a suspicious stain on the blanket on my bed. It wasn’t on the bedsheet itself, but on the blanket, which made me feel like housekeeping may have overlooked it.
The room size is about average for Japan. I was able to fit three large suitcases in the room, but there wasn’t much walking space, so I had to step around them.
Another issue is that the rooms are not very soundproof. Unfortunately, during my stay, my neighbors were quite loud at night, so that affected my sleep
GGuest UserConveniently located at Dotonburi and about 6-7 mins walk to metro. Location is near bars and at night you will see girls and some males standing around, they won’t disturb you but will hang around getting customers into their bars. We stayed highest at level 12 so can’t hear any noise from the street. Rooms are very small and we couldn’t open our luggage at all, if you don’t mind this and the bar streets, it’s conveniently located. Also we took Namba Nankai line directly to airport so that’s nicely situated!
SSYL94I stayed here for 4 nights and had a really good overall experience. The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Dotonbori. You just need to cross the road to reach Shinsaibashi, which made shopping and exploring extremely easy. There are also multiple exits of Namba Station nearby, so transportation is very convenient.
The area is lively and full of food options, convenience stores, and shops, so everything you need is within walking distance. Despite being in such a busy area, the hotel itself feels comfortable and a good place to rest after a long day out.
I really enjoyed my stay at Acro and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Osaka.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.

__WeChat263706****Absolutely loved it! It's super close to Universal Studios, and the route there is very convenient. It's also near the subway station and right next to the aquarium pier ⛵️, couldn't be more convenient. The convenience stores on both sides are also great.
SSollee- Spa was good, breakfast was good.
- Location was good; we could go shopping or eating outside easily. The area across the station felt a bit unsafe, and there were some homeless people around.
- Very clean floors in the entire building since everyone had to take off shoes at the lobby.
- After check-out, the hotel allows guests to store their luggage if guests stay on the premises to enjoy the spa. However, if guests leave the hotel after checkout and then return later, the hotel does not offer luggage storage. In that case, you have to use the coin lockers in front of the hotel. It was a bit inconvenient because I had to exchange money again to use the locker. That was the only inconvenience.
JJenny spaceI chose this hotel near the airport the night before my flight because I had an early morning departure. I arrived for check-in around 4 PM, and as soon as I got there, I regretted not coming earlier. I should have arrived first thing in the morning to enjoy the sea view and go shopping. The sea view from downstairs is absolutely stunning, and watching the sunset on the beach in the evening was incredibly relaxing. There are many outlet brands here, enough to spend a whole day browsing, though they do close at 8 PM, so plan your time accordingly. The shopping village near the hotel also has several restaurants with decent value for money, so dining is always an option.
The hotel is conveniently located right outside Exit 1 of the Rinku Town subway station. You don't even need to exit the station to get to the tower for check-in. There's a Lawson convenience store downstairs where you can grab snacks and drinks. When checking in, I pre-booked the shuttle for the next day and got my boarding pass. The next morning, I just went to the lobby of the adjacent hotel to catch the shuttle, and it was a super convenient 10-minute ride to Kansai Airport.
The room was very spacious, one of the biggest I've stayed in in Japan so far. There's a living room right as you enter, a bathroom with a bathtub in the middle, and then the bedroom further inside. There was plenty of space to lay out two large suitcases. The window offers a bay view. Next time, I'd definitely consider staying for two consecutive nights to enjoy the food and shopping without any rush.
