If you are reading this, straightaway make your booking. You will not regret it because this is the best accommodation in Wulingyuan. 1. Superb location. Stone’s throw to the Eastern Gate of the National Park. Also near and walkable to Bus Station and supermarket. Yet, at night the ambience is very quiet and peaceful. 2. The room is spacious and very clean. The bathroom also very spacious and clean. The bed is super comfortable. I really have deep sleep to rest my body after exploring the national park. 3. The host is really kind n helpful. He will assist you on everything and u will feel at home away from home. I stay there for 3 nights. She assist me to design my 3 days itinerary exploring the National Park. The park is quite complicated. I just follow the suggested route and feel very happy to do that. I really have a very good quality of exploring Zhangjiajie National Park.

I asked the store in advance that you can take a shuttle bus from Zhangjiajie West to the hotel. The last bus is between 5:30 and 6:00 and costs 13 yuan per person. But after leaving the station at 5:30, I arrived at the station at about 5:40 and was told that there were no taxis. I could only go back to the taxi pick-up point and take a taxi. It cost about 70 yuan, but it was difficult to wait for the taxi. I didn’t know if it was the National Day. knot relationship. The room is very spacious and the soundproofing effect is very good, but there are people raising chickens downstairs by the window, and they crow at around six o'clock every morning... Fortunately, we got up early because we were traveling on National Day. When I first checked in, there were signs of use in the room, there were hairs on the floor, and there was water in the shower room, but there were no major problems that would not affect my stay, so I didn't bother the store again. Needless to say, the location is very convenient. It is close to the east gate and there are many restaurants at the door. There are Cha Yan Yuese, Starbucks, Ruixing, etc.

My stay at Zhangjiajie Mido Inn was nothing short of a restorative journey, a much-needed reprieve after receiving less-than-ideal results from my recent CT scan. Wu went above and beyond, providing me with a hand-drawn map of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and crafting a personalized itinerary that perfectly suited my pace and interests. Wu’s local insights were invaluable. He knew the park like the back of his hand and took the time to highlight lesser-known trails and viewpoints that offered stunning vistas without the crowds. His suggestions were exactly what I needed—places where I could take in the breathtaking beauty of the park and reflect, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The inn itself was cozy and felt like a home away from home. Each evening, after a day of exploring, I returned to a warm and comfortable space that offered solace and tranquility. The location of the inn was ideal, nestled close enough to the park to make early starts easy, yet far enough away to provide a quiet retreat. During my two-day tour of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, I experienced moments of pure awe that felt almost like a healing process. Standing at the edge of towering cliffs, surrounded by the iconic sandstone pillars, I found a sense of peace that had eluded me in the sterile environment of hospital rooms and medical appointments. The park’s natural beauty, combined with Wu’s thoughtful guidance, allowed me to truly immerse myself in the moment, leaving my health concerns behind, if only for a little while. Wu’s genuine kindness and eagerness to help made my time in Zhangjiajie not just successful, but deeply fulfilling. His assistance turned what could have been a standard stay into something truly special. As I left Zhangjiajie, I felt a renewed sense of hope and strength, carrying with me memories of not just the breathtaking landscapes, but of the kindness of a stranger who made a world of difference in my journey.

Room is good. It has balcony. Ralph is very helpful in booking my taxi, giving the map and ready to help in everything. His very good in speaking in English as well. The place is near to everything, a lot of restaurants, and specially walkable from wulingyuan east entrance of ZJJ forest park. Overall it was a nice stay 🫶

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Everything was very neat and clean. Very convenient location, 5 minutes from the entrance to the park. I am very grateful to the hostess of the hotel and her husband for their help in drawing up a plan to explore the park. The weather was not the best, their advice helped us to spend time as efficiently as possible.

Fantastic stay. Unbelievable location, price and surprisingly comfortable. Included free breakfast which we took as takeaway into the national park, and walking distance to everything. Only issue was they don't provide toilet paper, towels, water etc unless you ask. No issues given the price, but just don't be afraid to ask for what you need.

Highly recommended. Great location and is within walking distance to the national forest park (east gate). We took didi (similar to uber) from Zhangjiajie West train station to the hotel. It took about 40 min and costs 42rmb one way. Room and bathroom are big and clean, beds are comfortable and the host is very nice. We spent two days in the national park, with first day went up the mountain (Yuanjiajie, Avatar floating mountain etc) and 2nd day strolled along the stream, Jinbianxi (entered through east gate and exited through south gate). There are buses from south gate to east gate, which charge 10rmb per trip. Hotel near east gate is a better option as most attractions are closer to East gate.

Facilities: When we checked in, the lady boss said the room was not clean, so we upgraded to the branch behind. Hygiene: The room is clean and bright, and there is a shared clothes dryer. Environment: It is very close to the East Gate, and there is a small stall downstairs for eating at night, which is very convenient. Service: A map of Zhangjiajie Forest Park was given when we checked in.

The hotel is near the East Park entrance gate (13 min walk -3blks) and the local bus station (5 min walk 1blk), situated on a quiet street. From the local bus station, you can take bus to Glass Bridge, and other Park Entrance Gates. A very economic way to move around. Buses are reliable. Mr. ZHANG (owner - no english) was very helpful for hiking routes and tour information. No morning breakfast provided. 20-25 min walk to Xibu area (restaurants). Hotel is clean, quiet, free laundry (DIY), safe. Great value.

Had a wonderful stay. The inn is farther out from the national park than others but it is at a quiet corner of the district. The room and toilet was standard but other services and amenities stood out for me. They had small extras such as sewing kit, availability of fruit knife that made the stay more comfortable. The staff also helped with booking of tickets and giving advice on how best to go around the attractions. Breakfast was at the top floor which provided a great view of the mountains. The staff, amenities, and breakfast view made all the difference. Highly recommend this inn.
