Hotels in Aluohai Plaza/Songyu Ferry, Xiamen

This was my first stay at Huayi, and it was a pretty good experience. It's a large standalone building. While not directly on the island, the location isn't remote, which is acceptable if you're driving. The room was quite luxurious with a great view and a bathtub. The breakfast was also delicious, and the swimming pool was large, though I didn't go in because there were a lot of people. The underground parking garage is huge, but you have to go up a few steps to get to the hotel. There's also a small section near the hotel without an accessible ramp, so strollers or wheelchairs would need to be lifted slightly. Finally, there are only four guest elevators, so you might have to wait a while during busy lunchtime hours.

This location is fantastic, right above the ferry terminal at Songyu Wharf, offering an unbeatable view. No need to draw the curtains; there's no one in front of you, so you can lie down however you like. Lying in bed feels like being on a cruise ship. Plus, there's a terrace with a small table and chairs, perfect for relaxing and daydreaming.

We loved this hotel. Got a wonderful upgraded suite with a great sea view on the 22nd. floor. Liked the hotel so much we stayed an extra day. Breakfast lots of choice and great coffee. Staff service is exceptional. Short stroll to the Gulangyu island ferry. I recommend the tram ride around the island. Only a few blocks walk to a main street with bakeries and small restaurants as well. Would definitely stay here again

Everyone should stay here! My review for this hotel is a resounding 'awesome,' the only minor flaw being its location outside the city center. It's incredibly comfortable and offers great value for money. It feels very safe, with security personnel patrolling. Although it's a bit far out, it's still very convenient; the Haicang district is beautifully developed with lovely scenery, and shared electric scooters are readily available on the map. The hotel's environment and hygiene are super clean, the rooms are spacious and tidy, and the bedding is soft and comfortable. The location is excellent for getting around, and the front desk service is warm and attentive. Overall, the check-in experience was exceptionally good, and the value for money is outstanding—highly recommended!

The room was comfortable and spacious, with a beautiful view that was perfect for photos. The service was excellent, and the food selection was diverse and tasty. Plus, the food prices were more budget-friendly compared to other Hilton Garden Inn and DoubleTree hotels.

This hotel is quite good, the price is relatively affordable, and the price did not increase during the National Day. There is also a laundry room where you can wash clothes, which is more convenient. The place where you stay is relatively quiet. The breakfast is very good. I like it very much.

The hotel boasts a prime location, close to commercial areas, and conveniently situated near Songyu Ferry Terminal for getting to Gulangyu Island, making travel quick and easy. The rooms were impeccably cleaned, free of odors and water stains, and the mattresses were perfectly firm, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff were warm, courteous, and responsive to any issues. The hotel offered delicious Minnan snacks and satay noodles, perfectly complementing the Xiamen trip. With excellent food and lodging, the experience exceeded expectations.

The room environment is exceptionally good, with a natural wood style. For this price, it's an excellent deal. The front desk staff are incredibly warm and attentive, and the cleaning auntie is also wonderful. Because I extended my stay and my room was cleaned late every day, the auntie would still help clean it for me. Plus, the room is spacious and well-arranged, and the Tmall Genie is very user-friendly. This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xiamen. Oh, and the Wi-Fi is great too, and they even tell you the password! The room is absolutely fantastic, definitely a five-star review!

The professional & friendly attitudes of the staff at every level were consistently helpful and pleasant. These definitely contributed to making my stay in Xiamen a relaxing and memorable experience. It is really like a home away from home!  The location is minutes to the Metro station on foot, and minutes away from a supermarket that sells organic and good quality food items. It’s also only 20 minutes away to walk to a lovely lakeside with beautiful trees in bloom. That’s why I continue to look for this hotel chain wherever I go in China.
