This was an easy booking and check in experience. The lodge was spacious and somewhere you could settle for a fair few days comfortably. The hot tub was ready for us when we got there and we made good use of it. There is nothing to do on the site (apart from feed the ducks at the small lake) but it is a good base and good value for money.

Just returned from a lovely weekend away at Warren Wood Country Park. Booked mainly for the location and wanted a lodge with a hot tub. The lodge (number 3) was spotless, well appointed and ideally suited adjacent to the car park. The other lodges are not far but far enough to make moving luggage "Awkward" as the pathways are loose gravel type paths so roller wheels struggle. The area is off the beaten path, directly behind the Garden centre but the nearest pub is just over a mile away and to walk is a little dangerous as the road has no pavement. If you are visiting in the winter months take a good torch! it is pitched black once the sun goes down. There is no clubhouse or shop onsite but Tesco's is local. They do provide a little starter pack of tea and coffee etc. Ladies, there is no hairdryer! I would say this is not the sort of place to go with kids. They would quickly become bored. Great place to explore the Sussex Coast and countryside and come back to in the evening with a nice bottle of wine, the Hot tub and book.

The Accommodation: We booked Warren Wood Country park as part of our 2 week honeymoon road-trip and it did not let us down. It was perfect for our first stop for 4 nights. We had lodge number 23 which was absolutely superb in the incredibly hot weather we have just experienced as natural shade was provided by the trees unlike some of the other lodges which were in full sun. So if you like to be outside but are not a massive sun worshipper then this is definitely the lodge for you. It was extremely clean, well thought out in its design with all the items required to make it feel home from home. The decor is crisp and modern and the home furnishings and accents make it feel very luxurious. The location is gated which makes it secure, so you have the comfort of knowing that your car and belongings are all safe. The hot tub was lovely, clean and a lovely relaxing treat of an evening. We did not see any staff apart from a groundsman once in the four days so it might have been nice to be welcomed on arrival although that is only a minor thing for us. We are quite happy with self service whereas others may not be and may like the human touch. The only downside would be that you cannot park your vehicle outside or near your lodge which is fine if you do not have much luggage with you however trekking round to Lodge 23 in the sun was a bit of a chore. The only saving grace was that there happened to be someone on site by chance who was able to give us a trolley. The Local Area: Hailsham itself if a very pretty little place and Warren Wood park is only a stones throw away from Eastbourne. We also went to Brighton which was about 20+ miles away. There is lots to see and do if you wanted to however we were quite happy with just wandering about and relaxing at the lodge. There are a number of little pubs - we highly recommend the Holly Blue which is only down the road. John, the barman was superb and offered fantastic customer service. The food was really good too. All in all we thoroughly recommend Warren Wood Country Park and would definitely go to stay there again if we were to venture down to that part of the country again.

The location is isolated and very tranquil. An excellent base for visiting places but no pubs or restaurants within walking distance. A car is required to travel anywhere. The lodge was very comfortable and provided all the facilities we required. Really enjoyed sitting out on the decking or in the hot tub looking aver the very large pond and being visited by the resident ducks and Canada geese family.

We stayed at Warren Wood country park on the dates of the 27th - 29th of October 2023. This mini break was to celebrate mine and my girlfriend’s anniversary. Unfortunately we had quite a few issues during our stay. The ensuite shower didn’t work properly, it was on constant hot and wouldn’t turn to cold at all. It was scorching to touch when we tried to use it. We called the number and it took quite a while for someone to come and try and fix it. After investigating the problem the man said the knob/button was jammed and wasn’t turning properly to the cold setting it just stayed constantly on hot because of the lime scale build up. After spending some time cleaning it we assume, he managed to get it working. This did fix the problem at the time but when using the shower the following day the dial got stuck again. This time on cold and it was taking ages to heat up which was very frustrating as we couldn’t have a decent shower in the large walk in ensuite. This was very annoying as after using the hot tub we really needed a proper shower because of the chlorine smell. When using the hot tub the jets weren’t working properly, they were only powerful on one side and not the other, again very annoying. The water supply in other areas of the cabin were playing up as well, such as the taps in the kitchen were always cold/luke warm. We also noticed the attic seal had insulation hanging out. When first using the oven we saw that the markings on the control knob were all worn off. There was no information on how to use the oven. We spent some time googling the manufacturer of the oven and trying to find the right picture to finally put the oven on, and our dinner ended up being spoilt. When it was getting dark we shut all the curtains and in the single bedroom someone’s dirty socks were still on the curtain rail which shouldn’t have been there. Surely the lodge should be checked for other people’s belongings and cleaned and inspected thoroughly. We told them about this when they came to do the shower. In the same room there were large marks all over the walls that should have been wiped off or painted over. The double bed was very squeaky so every time we moved or turned over it would make loud noises. It needs the screws tightening up as it kept waking us up in the night. The following day we went out early and when we came back we realised there had been a power cut. We didn't know how long for but it was quite concerning as we had fresh food in the fridge. We didn’t want to risk eating it so binned it all and had to go out to get different food. I think because of the power cut it caused the internet to go down. This stopped us watching any television or to go onto our phones as nothing was working. We spent a few hours trying to resolve this by ringing the contact number but they didn’t do anything. We decided to contact Hoseasons to try to sort out the issues, we were experiencing. As the shower still wasn't working we were waiting for a plumb

First thing I look out for is the cleanliness of where I am staying, well lodge no.6 did not disappoint!! Every where you looked as we walked in was sparkling clean, buffed and shiny and not one crumb or anything out of place!! Even the way they display things and do the beds is lovely! We chose to be right at the back of the park for peace and tranquility - and that's exactly what we got, we hardly saw anyone the whole time we were there which was exactly what we were looking for for a rest. The staff were helpful although reception was rarely open they always answered the phone! Lots of places locally to eat and explore, and we highly recommend the garden centre next door to browse, we did this once we left and had a breakfast in there which was beautiful! Kitchen was well equipped for 2 of us, but if you had a bigger family I'd recommend taking an extra saucepan if you're going to cook 🤣 The only little moan I have like every one else's reviews is that limited parking spaces if people don't park correctly, and not as far away from your lodge as people make out but I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchairs/pushchairs/disabled unfortunately as the whole park is gravel which was even hard to wheel a suitcase along. This review is for Warren Wood Country Park - Hoseasons who we booked through were terrible, messed up our booking which luckily I sorted before we got there as they booked us a different lodge to what rhe park booked for us. Only because I called to confirmed everything that I sorted this before I got there! Poor customer service and not our first time Hoseasons have messed up our booking so won't be going through them again!! But overall 5*'s from us - and we will be back!!

We booked to stay for 2 nights at Warren wood County Park in July. Our cabin was very luxurious, clean and spacious. You had everything you could possibly need for self catering. Dishwasher, pots and pans, cutlery, and utensils. We cooked 2 evening meals and breakfast in the park and we were never short of anything. The only thing the Cabin didn't have was a washing machine. The hot tub was a dream. Very clean. Perfect to relax outside in with a beer or gin in hand. The park does not allow glass near the hot tub but they do provide plastic cups. There was a coffee machine but you have to provide your own pods. (Make sure you get the dolce gusto ones as any other pod would be too small). The staff also provide you with tea bags, instant coffee sugar and U.H.T milks. There is also a garden center in front of the park that serves takeaway coffees from their cafe. This is priced between £2.80-£3.20 per coffee. The staff were always on hand to help you with anything you needed. You could call them from the numbers provided in the cabin with any issues. They'res usually someone who is floating around the park so you can also ask them. The beds were really comfortable and big. They do not change the sheets everyday. They're is a big shower room with toilet and a bathroom with a big bath. Towels are also provided but again, not changed daily. They do recommend bringing your own towels for the hot tub. I should note that you do have to provide your own shower gel soap as well as shampoo. This surprised us at first because some places do provide this. If like us you didn't bring any you can buy some soaps from the garden center but it's quite expensive. The cabins do come with a telly in the lounge and bedroom areas. We should mention that TV apps such as netflix do not work in the cabin. We read reviews that mentioned this. You can always download things to watch prior to your stay and use a phone to HDMI cable to connect your phone to the telly. We found that it works in both bedroom and living room telly. There is a electric heater (looks like a wooden log burner) in the cabin but ours (in cabin 18) did not work. As it was summer this wasn't needed and they may turn this off in the summer months. In terms of public transport there isn't much around where the park is situated. There is a 1X bus that stops just outside the garden centre on the corner by the sign post and this will take you into Hailsham and Eastbourne. This bus is quite unreliable. (Doesn't always show up when it says it will). It is cheap though and will cost you about £2 for a single person. We should note that this bus doesn't run on Sundays. However the 51 bus into Hailsham and Polegate does run. Taxis will also come out to the park near the garden center (we used 847 taxis and found the staff really helpful). It will cost you about £9-£12 one way depending on where you'd like to go. This holiday is much easier with a car but it is possible to cope without one. This wasn't a pr

What a lovely hidden place. Really quiet and lovely to hear the birds and cows in the fields. The lodge was exceptionally clean and modern fixtures and fittings. Hot tub a bonus and went down very well. Would not hesitate in recommending a stay, we will definitely be back.
