The hotel was surrounded by nature and the air was fresh and delicious. There are forests and parks nearby, making it a perfect environment for walking and jogging. Especially in the morning and evening, I felt fresh air and was able to relax in the open space. The view from the room was amazing and we were able to fully enjoy the beauty of nature. There was also an open space area within the hotel where we could eat, which had a very pleasant atmosphere. By staying in an environment blessed with nature, I was able to spend a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The photo is of a nearby restaurant.

I went to stay for two days and one night with a half-price coupon for the ”Good Inn Association” with my best friend when I was a student. I was happy to be greeted as soon as I arrived, but I was guided to the room at the end of the corridor with stains on the walls and floors and peeling. The information staff explained, ”Please understand that the futon is already laid,” but this is the first time that the futon has been laid from the beginning in a Japanese-style room with only one room. I don't think there is this even though it is not a busy period and only 7 groups stay and it is not a brought inn. Still, I tried to boil hot water in an electric kettle to drink tea at the table in the corner of the room, but the switch didn't work well and I had to press the switch until the hot water boiled. did. I tried to cool the drink I bought for the bath in the refrigerator, but the refrigerator was completely broken and I contacted the front desk, but he said, ”I can't deal with it.” It's a small refrigerator of 50 cm square, so I was sad that I should be able to replace it with a male staff member, but I didn't intend to do that at all. The room had an old type toilet with a bathroom, from which you could see the Chikugo River, but from the window of the room you could see the entrance to the inn, and you had to close the curtains immediately. I gave up that this might be a treatment for guests staying with a half-price coupon. The food in the dining room where all the guests face each other without any partition is under the inside, and obviously we don't have a small shabu-shabu pot among the dishes set from the beginning at dinner. The sashimi was cut off by 3, but there was no meat dish. This may be because it is also a half-price coupon customer. It was too disappointing that the clam rice cooked by myself was hard for me and the friend's was soft. I went back to my room and ate sweets because the volume was small. It was a pity that the taste was strong and the pumpkin of the ingredients melted in the boiling. The bath was an old large communal bath and the quality of the spring was good and the hot water was beautiful. However, the washbasin and chairs are conspicuously dirty, and it may be easy to dirty with hot spring ingredients, but it is sad. I got up early in the morning and went in, but half of the hot water was not accumulated, and why was the hot water not in time even though I dropped the hot water and cleaned it? Everyone was disappointed. Also, there are several tatami mats in Chikugogawa Onsen, but I have no habit of washing my body on tatami mats, and I only feel uncomfortable, and I blindfold the deterioration of the washing place I can only think. And this inn has a new building, and there is an open-air bath with a view on the roof. It is ¥ 2000 for a fee. The same price for guests. We learned from the poster in the building without even guidance. The poster is in the elevator of the new building and customers who use the new building will know it. I wonder if it was known to customers who only use the stairs in the old building, and the usage fee is high. Color 々 It may be because it was a guest who stayed with a half-price coupon that made me feel sorry, but if I am satisfied, I can't expect to repeat it at a regular price next time. ? The trip with my friend for the first time in 35 years made me feel quite disappointing.

A hot spring inn in Chikugogawa Onsen. It is a large hotel with a banquet hall. I stayed for one night on a weekday with a business plan with breakfast only. Prices are reasonable. The room was a twin Western-style room. It says pets are allowed, but there was no pet smell. However, I could hear dogs barking from other rooms. The hot spring at this ryokan is a thick, alkaline sulfur spring. The hot springs are licensed for drinking, so you can drink the hot springs at the hot spring. The free-flowing hot springs are very nice. The open-air bath is also built facing the river, which is nice. Breakfast is served at the venue and the contents are suitable for the price. It is a rather large ryokan, and the facilities are old because the box is large.

The ryokan cum hotel is located in a historic town dating back to the Edo period, however, this building is only 106 years old consisting of 5 rooms. I stayed at the one with beds upstairs by way of access via a steep flight of stairs, definitely not for elderly. The room was nice and clean, heating and cooling by split type aircons, bathroom with a wooden tub, no TV. Reception unavailable after 6:30pm, if you want anything after that, WhatsApp them. Since the hotel is located right on a major road, therefore, it was extremely noisy all the time with road noise. Difficult to get a decent sleep. Breakfast was served at another location, about 8-10min walk to a 160 year old building. Food was yummy and service was attentive. A nice experience overall, but for the price I would choose another one where it's in a quieter location.

Far from the city location, but only about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and easy to find. Antique, good flavor, relatively simple, slightly insufficient equipment. Towels, toothbrushes, etc. need to be brought by yourself. The waiter was very friendly. During the check-in, I asked if there was a restaurant introduction nearby, and I was very patient. A good homestay experience.
