The room is a shoe box, you can hear everything from the front desk, staff make noise all throughout the night and early hours of the morning, no fresh air, bed up against a wall, no room for suit cases.

Friendly staff, good location, nice hotel.

Had a very pleasant stay there. Took the smallest room which has the most basic amenities needed for one person. The door wasn't very soundproof but it wasn't noisy at night anyway (despite having a lively crowd right next to the hotel). The staff was very friendly and accommodating and knew some history of the nearby buildings. Location-wise it was also quite convenient being near to the bus stop, train stations, and of course Chinatown area for shopping. Would definitely recommend this place for a short trip in Singapore.

Worst stay ever, the moment when we entered the room it has this very strong cigarette and urine smell, the walls had all these dirty sticking on to it and the toilet was so dirty. my partner had to spray all the dirty away with the bidet. And the towels was so thin . Like they ripped it off or something. 100 deposit BY CARD and will only return after 14 days IS RIDICULOUS. not to mention on how at night the receptionist wasn’t there and I waited for quite sometime for someone to assist. Highly not recommended.

Location ok Toilet a bit dirty, Need deposit $100, No smart tv, only HBO channel So far ok for short staying night.

Cleanliness is bad, toilet bowl still has tissues left over, the floor all over dust.

Love the location - near to Chinatown and Tanjong Pagar! Only one regret is that I do not have the suitable outfit for photo taking...Cheongsam/Peranakan style. View from balcony is gooood and also great for photo taking. Prewar shophouse with modern facilities - my dream home since young. So I m actually thrilled to stay here. Pros: Shiok to shower with strong water flow. Hairdryer provided - great for ladies. Toothbrush & toothpaste, big towel & all-in-one body soap/shampoo provided. They have tissue box, safe, flask & coffee/tea. WiFi connection is good so can surf Internet / Facebook. Big space in front of bed so can put big luggage. Bed is King/ Queen type. Have small chairs and table. Bigger TV. Near to lift. Security here is better as guests can enter by tapping with key card. Cons: Fridge is mouldy. Not sure when it was last cleaned. 😅 At night, music from pubs nearby can be heard. (I booked 2 room types - XLtwin & balcony). Please note that $100 deposit is required.

Pros 1. Great Location. Plenty of eatery within walking Distance. 2. Friendly Receiptionist Cons Housekeeping can be improved. I found baby cockroaches on the bed sheet. And the bed sheet are not that clean either. Pillow not too thin

Booked this venue because of the awesome balcony view for our pre-wedding shoot so was not expecting a great hotel since it’s a small scale boutique hotel anyway. We booked the queen room with balcony, it’s quite spacious for our luggage and the balcony view was and still is spectacular! Don’t expect many amenities, just the basics. All in all, price is alright for the room and view, really love the location!

The location of this hotel was good n near MRT. The interior of the building look new but some facilities quite old as per reception staff told us the lift only can take 2 people and need to stop every level. The room itself we discover floor not so clean, bathroom door hinges already loose, bed frame was concave etc. overall the staff of the hotel was nice n helpful.

The area and information about the hotel was well inform from the trip.com service is good and friendly, there a few pub and 711 nearby the surrounding is full of heritage shop houses with IG photo taking place.
