Family-friendly Hotels in Shenyang

Nice location with a view, big rooms. Clean and comfortable. Super love the huge bath tub with a view. Friendly staff and great service. Location is pretty good also.

Big room, with washing machine / dryer inside the room. It is conveniently located near 太原街. There is an underground shopping area where clothing shopping and nail parlours are located. One will also be spoilt with food choices within that location. Walking to Shenyang train station is approx. 12 to 15 minutes.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We got a free upgrade to a huge suite, that was enormous and spotless clean. Location is great, walking distance from the railway station and close to a mall. The breakfast buffet was really big with lots of choices (Western & Chinese). We would definitely come back.

Great experience; appreciate the warm hospitality from everyone, from concierge to front office, housekeeping to restaurant and lounge. Also loved the stunning bird’s eye view of Shenyang and the cozy night view in the evening!! Only one slight disappointment: the hotel doesn’t have any international sockets (albeit being an international brand - not sure if that’s the norm in China though). Plus-point was when the call centre staff took the initiative to send their concierge member to buy an adapter for me when I called them and was told that they didn’t have any adapters available in the hotel at that point in time to lend me. Really appreciated the initiative. Though the concierge member brought the wrong type of adapter (China to UK instead UK to China - thought that should be at least commonsensical for someone working in an international brand); and he was slightly unpleasant to deal with when he demanded for payment for the adaptor even though the wrong type was bought. He was also hesitant to escalate the issue to the duty manager at first until I really insisted. Duty manager resolved the issue seamlessly, took the initiative to bring one from their office and sent all the way to my room - again appreciate it. Overall, great environment and professional but warm hospitality. All other concierge members were also extremely helpful! Jacky also took initiative to send me a GPS location of the nearby police post when I needed to settle some documents there.

This hotel is a great place with affable and warm staff and housekeepers, who have been very helpful and kind to us during our stay. Special compliments to hotel manager who wears a red suit for her great hospitality.

I stayed at Shangri-La for a couple of nights with my mom. The hotel is nice. The food in the main restaurant is not tasty and overpriced. The service and hospitality of the reception was great. Niki and her other colleague manager were doing a great job. The guy at the reception desk spoke very limited English and seemed to be clueless about the city. For example I asked to help me get a 6 seater to take me and my bicycle to the park by the river, he was trying to convince me there was no place for cycling there even though there is a great cycling trail.

The lobby is very clean and bright. The receptionist is very nice and gentle. She also gave me an upgrade. The room is very big and spacious, with nice floor-to-ceiling windows. The toilet is also very big. The washing and squatting areas are separated, and there is a big bathtub. The breakfast is also good, with a little bit of everything. The slippers are in the closet. I looked for them in the mirror closet as soon as I entered the door. I found them after searching for a while. It is very cost-effective.

Amazing hotel, very value for money. Hotel is very clean, nice, and modern. To add, a staff Josie Ji went the extra mile to help us with our breakfast add on as it was difficult for us as foreigners to pay for the offer using WeChat pay. Service from her was really top-notched! Most staff we met were also all very professional and polite! Great stay experience.

The first time I stayed here was on September 24 this year. When I checked out the next day, my bracelet fell in the room with a solid gold bead on it! After I found it was lost, I contacted the hotel immediately, and the front desk lady contacted the housekeeping department and gave it to me! Thank you very much!!! I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel again. At first, it was just because the location here was better, the environment was good, and it was convenient for business trips. Later, I chose this place again because the service was better. Yuanyuan would take the initiative to visit guests and introduce the hotel's facilities and discounts. Her attitude was very good. I will continue to choose this place if I have the opportunity!

The overall experience of staying at the Huafu Hotel was great. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, and the check-in was efficient and fast. They also introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions to us. The room was spacious, bright, clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, and all kinds of toiletries were available. The hotel's catering was also surprising, with a rich variety of breakfasts and delicious taste. The hotel has convenient transportation and many shopping and dining places around it. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, this hotel is an excellent choice. During this stay, I was deeply impressed by the auntie (No. 16) who was responsible for cleaning my room. Her attitude was amiable and sincere service. Her seriousness, responsibility, kindness and attentiveness made me feel warm in a foreign land. Thank her very much and I will come again next time.
