Very Nice Hotel with Friendly and Helpful staffs! Staffs helped to carry luggages up and when leaving, help to carry as well to car. Many shops around and it's inside Gu Zheng but car can still drive in! Plus point for location! Staff was nice and WeChat before we arrive and wait for us at the entrance and bring all our luggages down!!! Room is big, plentiful of bottle water and also us to feel free to take! And yes they have oxygen on request if you need! Just use wechat to communicate with them! Very easy! Will love to be back in this hotel!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is excellent, very close to all the main attractions, which made getting around so easy.
A big plus was the free transportation provided to and from the airport/railway station—such a convenient service. The staff also helped us with our luggage right from the car all the way to our room, which we truly appreciated.
Our room was very spacious, perfect for two people with big suitcases, and still had plenty of space to move around comfortably. Breakfast was yummy too, with a nice variety to start the day. The staff also gave great recommendations on places to visit, which added so much to our trip.
Overall, a wonderful experience—we’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Xiao Tusi is a charming two-story Tibetan-style wooden guesthouse, offering a very comfortable stay. The staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. Convenient parking is available right at the entrance. Its location near the Old Town is extremely convenient. Overall, it's a very pleasant guesthouse.
However, during our two-night stay, there was no housekeeping service – our room wasn't cleaned, the trash wasn't emptied, and disposable amenities were not replenished. We sincerely hope the management addresses these issues for future guests.

這次入住真的被民宿老闆的熱情徹底圈粉！我是被我姐強烈推薦的這家在獨克宗古城內的民宿，民宿老闆卓瑪姐從預訂時就主動詢問我們的行程，到店後不僅詳細講解了香格里拉超實用的旅遊攻略，連小眾打卡點和避坑指南都傾囊相授，比做的攻略還靠譜。
最暖心的是剛放下行李，老闆就端來了熱乎乎的氂牛奶，喝完整個人都暖乎乎的，瞬間驅散了旅途疲憊。民宿裏的設施更是驚喜，全屋都是智能家居，燈光、窗簾語音就能控制，操作起來特別方便；而且傢俱全是嶄新的，質感很好，看得出來老闆在裝修上花了不少心思，住起來既舒適又有科技感。
推窗見景還超貼心，這家民宿直接封神！
這次住的房間真的把“景觀房”的優勢拉滿了，清晨拉開厚重的遮光簾，眼前的畫面瞬間讓人屏住呼吸：正對面就是鬱鬱葱葱的龜山公園，山頂的大轉經筒清晰得彷彿觸手可及，尤其是傍晚時分，夕陽灑在經筒上泛着暖光，連公園裡轉經的人羣都能隱約看見，不用擠在觀景台人堆裏，在房間裏就能靜賞這份獨特的景緻，隨手拍的照片發朋友圈被問爆地址。
更讓人感動的是民宿的細節貼心。考慮到當地的氣候和海拔，房間裏提前準備好了製氧機，老闆特意過來教我們使用方法，夜裡偶爾有點缺氧時打開，很快就舒服多了；衣櫃裏還掛着免費提供的厚實羽絨服，款式簡潔乾淨，完全不用自己揹着厚重衣物佔行李，出門逛公園、看經筒時穿上，防風又保暖。這份把客人需求想到前頭的用心，比風景更讓人覺得温暖，真心推薦給來這邊的朋友！
退房離開時，老闆還特意準備了當地藏族特色禮物金剛結送我和女朋友，説是一點心意，這份用心真的太戳人了。全程體驗下來，不僅住得舒服，更像在朋友家做客一樣自在，已經推薦給計劃來玩的朋友，下次再來一定還選這裏！

GGuest UserI've never embarked on such a thrilling journey. The hotel is spectacularly perched on the side of the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, halfway up the mountain, with a sheer cliff face on one side and the deep canyon on the other. When booking, I honestly didn't pay much attention to the exact location. I simply looked for a hotel near Tiger Leaping Gorge, as we planned to visit it the next day. But as we navigated there in the afternoon, driving up the mountainside, even my husband, a very experienced driver, started to get nervous. The road was incredibly steep – perhaps a 40-50 degree incline? – and what made it truly terrifying was that on one side was the sheer drop into the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, with the powerful river rushing below. It was an extreme test of nerve. I was so scared I couldn't utter a word, my mind racing with thoughts of unfinished business.
When we finally reached the hotel, perched precariously on the mountain, we met other guests who confessed they were too scared to drive back down and needed the hotel owner to take them. Despite the adventurous journey to get there, the hotel's scenery is absolutely unparalleled. It truly embodies the saying, 'the most spectacular views are found in the most treacherous peaks.'
This hotel has deep roots in the ancient Tea Horse Road. It's situated in a pivotal location along the Tea Horse Road, attracting many international trekkers and hikers. The owner himself is an avid hiking enthusiast. It was such an unforgettable experience that my husband said he wants to make a special trip back.
Next time, with this experience under our belts, we'd definitely park our car at the foot of the mountain and have the hotel pick us up. Alternatively, you could arrange for the hotel to drive your car up for you. Of course, if you're an adventure-seeker, you might enjoy the challenge! Haha.

GGuest UserAbsolutely absolutely beautifully place to stay. The 3 huskies, the family of deer, a small family of sheep, a pony and a donkey. My child had a great time feeding them and running around with them. The coffee house in the middle of the field is beautiful, such a nice environment to chill, have a coffee and cake and enjoy the quiet open field. Going to come back again that’s for sure.

The grassland, snowy mountains and prayer flags are interesting, and the casual photos are all beautiful. The room facilities have been upgraded, the image quality of the projector is super clear, the oxygen generator is quieter, and the hygiene standard is still maintained. The service is still so considerate. The housekeeper remembers my preferences and prepares my favourite sweet tea in advance. A lot of local specialties have been added to breakfast. The fruit of the afternoon tea is super fresh. The ******* service experience in the public area is still free. There are new surprises every time you come. It is definitely the first choice for accommodation in Shangri-La!

GGuest UserOne of the highlight of this 民宿 is that it offers a big outdoor lawn where owners have pets ( 1 samoyed, 1 golden retriever which we didn’t get to see, 2 cats, 2 birds, 2 sheep’s and even rabbit). The room also offer floor heating which was very useful at cold temperatures at night especially. The family room on Level 4 is very spacious and offers a very beautiful view during sun rise and sun set. (Although walking up the stairs you might feel out of breath due to the altitude in Shangri-la) We had our dinner at the restaurant of 民宿 for 2 nights and surprisingly it was 蛮和我们东南亚的口味. The dog and cats are very fluffy to touch and play with. The owner also offered us medicine which we bought from them and find it quite effective for 高山症. To stay here is better to rent a driver and car as it is slightly out of town, but the whole experience is definitely one of the best and would highly recommend.

It's a boutique guesthouse tucked away in the ancient town, completely avoiding the crowds of popular hotels, and the atmosphere is simply fantastic. The stylish decor incorporates ******* elements, giving it a really authentic local feel. The service is uniquely excellent; the owner even took us to explore local markets and experience genuine everyday life. The facilities are both high-quality and practical, with smart home controls throughout that are super convenient. The room's soundproofing is great, so it's quiet and peaceful. You can even catch a unique side view of the Giant Buddha Temple from here. It offers fantastic value for money and is a must-stay for any niche travel enthusiast!

As for service, a porter helped with my luggage right from the car, and check-in at the front desk was super fast! Hygiene is impeccable; even the toilet is smart and self-sanitizing. I walked barefoot around the room, and my feet stayed spotless! The environment is perfect – right on the edge of the ancient town, quiet but not isolated, making it easy to explore and grab food. It's the best of the best!

They even proactively told us about the hotel's facilities and local dining spots – top marks for attention to detail. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable; I felt the travel fatigue melt away as soon as I lay down. The soundproofing was also excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were provided, including a powerful hairdryer, which was really convenient.

AAvery LingThe view is SUPERB! So peaceful, gorgeous view from the room (esp if you book one of the wooden huts with unobstructed views like mine). See photos behind to have an idea of the layout of the place. The property is huge. They have other accomodations in the compound (hotel like) but i chose the wooden huts version as it is more unique.
Special shoutout to the photoshoot team. The photos are super duper well taken and edited beautifully (great colours and natural human edits so I don't look an AI version).
Here's the real deal.
What you get for FREE: 1 costume + hat (fur or cowboy) + necklace but limited options and none of them was a good fit for my costume.
3 original photos, non edited (but slightly more washed out - i opted for the edited ones).
What you need to PAY for: Hair and makeup and accesories 198r - i did my own messy style braids and makeup
Original photos (after the 3 free ones) are 50r each.

Tips for the room: Beware though that the skylight does not open during summer and late spring/early autumn, as it supposedly gets too hot in the rooms and increases the risk of high altitude sickness for guests. I visited in late sep.
Also, the heated floor gets REALLY hot. My suitcase was a metal one and all the items inside turned hot to the touch by morning.
The room has no air conditioner, only a heating system, temperature can't be regulated - set at 31°c but it doesn't get so hot.
Late sep (early autumn) it's 20+ in the day but drops to 8°c at night - i assume it'll be much colder in winter (with snow) and spring.
Afternoon tea at the black bean cafe (pointed in the last photo) is really nothing special except for the view. I opted to sit outside my hut (after check out) instead as it was too crowded there.
If you're considering the very expensive hotel next door (more than double the price of this), and i battled with the decision for a very long time, don't. You can actually walk over next door to that famous hotel, order a drink and walk the grounds for the animal experience.

SSonia Wan CYThis hotel gives a very fresh and new first impression. I found out from Quzhen （曲珍）that it only opened in July. The design of the entire hotel is excellent – very chill yet infused with local ethnic characteristics. It's not overly ******* like many guesthouses tend to be; the balance is just right, modern with an artistic feel. It's a place that literary and artistic youths would surely love, with many photo hot spots.
Quzhen (曲珍）was my butler for this trip. She is an incredibly enthusiastic girl, providing very attentive service. She was responsive to every request and exceptionally thoughtful. When I felt unwell one day, she immediately arranged for an oxygen tube for me and checked on me regularly. She makes you feel at home. The other staff members are also very warm and friendly.
The hotel's location is absolutely top-notch, right next to the Songzanlin Monastery. It takes less than two minutes to walk to the side door.
The large floor-to-ceiling window in the room allows you to literally fall asleep looking at the Songzanlin Monastery. It's a highly recommended hotel.
If I have the chance to come to Shangri-La again, I will definitely return here. Quzhen (曲珍）feels like a friend waiting for me to come back in Shangri-La. It combines the facilities of a design hotel with the warm service of a guesthouse.
I have a few minor suggestions for the hotel: Next time I return, it would be wonderful if there were a few sun-beds on the terrace at the left of the restaurant. Lying there, sunbathing, reading a book while gazing at the Songzanlin Monastery would be super chill. Also, I think the breakfast could offer some Western options, such as bread, fried eggs, sausages, sandwiches, yogurt, coffee & tea etc. Afternoon tea could also be a nice addition.
As for the room facilities, everything is very good. It has diffuse oxygen, a humidifier, and many books for reading. It would be perfect if some seating cushions could be added to the bench next to the window along with a small tea table and tea set.
In conclusion, the entire experience was excellent. Thank you to every staff member at the hotel, especially Quzhen(曲珍）. I hope to have the opportunity to see you again – my friend in Shangri-La.
