Shangri-La Yunbian View Homestay

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The room offered a great view of the prayer wheel and Guishan Park. The facilities were complete, clean, and hygienic, and the service was exceptionally thoughtful. Someone from the hotel met us to help with luggage upon arrival in the old town, and they also provided shuttle service. The owner was incredibly kind; we almost missed our high-speed train, but the owner helped us pack and even brought our luggage out for us.

The owner's pick-up service was great! We made an appointment in advance, and he picked us up from the parking lot right on time. The B&B is also conveniently located in the ancient town, not far from the main road, making it easy to get around and go shopping. Overall, it was very convenient! The picture was taken from inside the room – isn't the view beautiful?

The room was clean, hygiene was excellent, the environment was great, the service was superb, and the views were beautiful.

The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. You can see the prayer wheels, the Great Buddha Temple, and the ancient city all at once. Sitting on the terrace watching the sunrise and sunset, just letting your mind wander, is incredibly relaxing. Sifang Street is right downstairs, making it convenient to go anywhere. The room was spotlessly clean, and I felt completely safe even staying alone. It's excellent value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

The B&B is about a 10-minute walk from the North Gate of Dukezong Ancient Town. It's a bit far from the East Gate (bus station), but if you contact the owner in advance, they'll send a staff member to pick you up in an electric tricycle. Haha, it's a bit bumpy, but it's a fun experience! The hotel facilities are generally good and the service attitude is excellent. They'll give you a detailed explanation of the surrounding area and how to use the various amenities in your room. The only thing I think could be improved is that the toilet and shower share one glass door, which is a little inconvenient.

I highly recommend this guesthouse! The view from upstairs exceeded my expectations; sitting there at night, you can admire the dazzling nightscape of the ancient city, with the Grand Prayer Wheel and the Great Buddha Temple clearly visible. The guesthouse is easy to find, making it super convenient for exploring the old town. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The owner is incredibly warm and genuine. After a busy day, coming back to the guesthouse and gazing at the city lights really sets the perfect mood. Overall, my stay was comfortable and pleasant; everything was spot-on. I'll definitely choose this place again when I return to Shangri-La.

Right inside Dukezong Ancient Town! The location is fantastic, a really great experience. You can walk to Sifang Street and Guishan Park. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance! Plus, the owner is very nice.
