A new hotel with a great location. First impression - modern designer chic, from the reception and lobby. Rooms - also modern interior design. Facilities are good with oxygen concentrator machine (very important), humidifier, heated flooring and even heated bathroom and toilet! Benefits - daily breakfast, unlimited latte or tea during the day, unlimited mineral water and soft drinks in the room fridge. Complimentary afternoon tea and good night dessert. Location - The hotel is just up the street from Dukezong Old Town north gate, which can be reached in just a few minutes easy stroll. Service - very attentive. When we had troubles with the electronic heating panel in our room, they came and solved it immediately.

Even though the location was quite secluded, it was worth the stay. The room was very well furnished and even comes with a projector screen for us to screen mirror our movies. Views were astonishing with many animals around. The receptionists were very friendly and welcoming as well! Overall very satisfied!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Hotel staff are really friendly and welcoming, when we arrived at 9pm. Upon check in, we were served with hot towels and some pastry. We were escort to our room (welcome fruit and dessert). Overall, great experience and will definitely come back again. Great things - Breakfast spread was decent (Yunan Mixian was the bomb) - Room was supply with oxygen - Room was really clean and new - Complimentary laundry service done by the staff (not coincidentally laundromat) Things to improve - The heater in the room was too warm even after trying to adjust the temperature. We need to open the window to let the cool breeze in. - no fridge in the room - no air conditioned. As per staff, Shangri-La is usually cold throughout whole year so only warmer is provided in the room

The hotel is super spacious and they are super friendly. The guys at the hotel have been super helpful even provide us with all the information we were seeking for without any hesitation. They even provide a free car return service for us back to the train station and I am super happy with the gesture they provided and the excellent service they offered . I would definitely recommend this hotel for my travelling buddies in the future and would definitely book this hotel once again in the future for future travel .
