Shangri-La 5th Meteorite Light Year Hotel (Dukezong Ancient City Shop)

The accommodations were very nice and the hotel is located in a very convenient area close to old town. The morning breakfast was also very good.

Room was big and very well equipped. Great breakfast. Very well located. Nice staff.

We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be conveniently close to Duzhong Ancient Town, which made exploring the area very easy. The breakfast was nice and enjoyable, with a good variety to start the day. However, there are a couple of areas with room for improvement: Room ventilation:** Our non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke upon arrival. Improved ventilation and better air quality control would significantly enhance comfort for guests who choose non-smoking rooms. Restaurant smoking issues:** There were signs indicating a non-smoking area, but some guests were still smoking in the breakfast area, and staff did not intervene consistently. Ensuring strict adherence to the non-smoking policy in the restaurant would create a more pleasant dining environment for all guests. Overall, the hotel has strengths in location and breakfast, with a couple of practical improvements that could elevate the guest experience.
