Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay (Dukezong Ancient City Branch)

Staying at this guesthouse in Shangri-La was such a heartwarming experience! ❤️ The proprietress proactively contacted us a day in advance to ask if we needed pick-up services, which was very thoughtful. On the day of our arrival, the boss even drove to pick us up personally, making us feel their genuine warmth and hospitality right from the start. The proprietress was also incredibly warm and welcoming, truly glad to have us, and patiently introduced us to local attractions and must-visit spots, saving us a lot of time on planning our itinerary. Additionally, the guesthouse has a great location, very close to Dukezong Ancient Town, making getting around and sightseeing super convenient. The entire stay was just so comfortable, feeling as cozy as being at home. Both the boss and proprietress were extremely friendly, adding so many wonderful memories to our trip to Shangri-La! If I have the chance to visit again, I will definitely choose this place once more and sincerely recommend it to everyone! ❤️

I was really satisfied with this stay; the overall experience was very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, super convenient for anyone wanting to explore Dukezong Ancient Town, and getting around the surrounding area is easy. The room was very clean, and much larger than I expected, feeling very spacious overall. It didn't feel cramped at all, offering great comfort. The guesthouse also has a super cute dog and cat 🐶🐱, which really added a lot of warmth to the whole stay! The owner is very nice, warm, and friendly. Communication before and after check-in was all done via WeChat, which was very convenient, and responses were prompt. Any questions could be easily discussed. Additionally, there's a restaurant right next to the hotel, making lunch and dinner very convenient without needing to go far to find food. Overall, the location is good, the room is clean and spacious, the owner is friendly, and the value for money is also good. If I come back to Shangri-La, I would consider staying here again!

The room was clean and tidy, and they even allowed us to bring our cat, which was great! The guesthouse is conveniently located near the prayer wheel in the old town.

This hotel is conveniently located right next to Moonlight Square, just a few minutes' walk away. There are several delicious ******* restaurants run by locals in the vicinity. The hotel owners are incredibly attentive and welcoming, and they even offer airport/station transfer services. They also have two adorable and friendly pets, a Poodle named Momo and a Ragdoll cat named Nuomi. From the second-floor terrace, you can enjoy a lovely view of the golden pavilion in Guishan Park. I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shangri-La.

The room was very comfortable, and the courtyard was meticulously maintained by the owner, spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, and we could drive right up to the guesthouse entrance. We didn't do much planning before arriving, but the owner was a walking encyclopedia of local tips – seriously, I have to commend the host of this place. Thank you for taking care of us these past few days, including the pick-up and drop-off service. And of course, a special shout-out to the two unique 'staff members': the cat Nuomi and the dog Momo. Momo is either sleeping or teasing little Nuomi! 😁
