Ji Hotel (Shanghai People's Square Fujian Middle Road)

Overall, good stay at this branch of Ji Hotel. As seen in photo, the room is spacious, cozy, and clean with window & air condition, but no fridge. The building is old with 2 lifts which seems to be under renovation but still in operation. Breakfasts are okay (bao, noodles, dumpling, rice of noodle, salad, sausage, egg, bakery, etc.) but the same every mornings during our 4-night stay (only 1-2 menu changed). Staff are helpful & friendly, some can speak English and some would communicate via app. They let us check-in early & check-out late on weekdays. Location is good, opposite from Family Mart & surrounding with restaurants. Short walk from both East Nanjing Road station & People’s Square Station. From airport, best to use Exit 2 of East Nanjing Road station for escalator & lift, but closet exit is 4. But most exist 1-4 are near. Exit 3 has escalator with short stairs up & only stairs down. Feel safe to walk around, even late at night.

Price: reasonable for stay Room: very clean and hygiene. Location: only 2-3mins walk from East Nanjing station exit 4 Hotel staff: not fluent in English but helpful Breakfast: variety of choices but similar the same of every day Lift: 2 incomplete lifts - their partition and surface were roughly put together by thin wood boards which made me feel unsecured when using lift. Also, Hotel rooms are beginning at 8 floor, so they are shared with other companies in the same building. Note: 4 bottles of water per day which is great - love it!!!! Anyway, overall are great and worth.

recommend! good clean room with big tv screen, modern style great bathroom. location is fantastic. (near holiday inn and nanjing road) lawson and familymart just few step. breakfast is ok (value with price and location)

Ji Hotel is really a convenient hotel and also their staff is friendly and helpful! Really a good hotel because we get to do our laundry during our entire trip there for free! lots of food places within 5 mins walking distance and Nanjing road is just a 5 minutes walk too. highly recommend!

Location is good.Staff can not speak english.but google can help. Hotel room is average . Elevator always crowed and can use with public building. Underconstrtion on april. Breakfast is variety. Room window not clear as photo show in website.Cleaning is average.Towel had hole on someday.

The hotel location is great, walking distance to Nanjing walking street and The Bund. We got the room with the pearl tower view!

Excellent services with great location.The hotel is very clean and have a great a**osphere. All staff are very nice especially MS.Lorin who helps us a lot. Definitely gonna stay here again next time🥰🥰🥰

Located at a great area and very close to Nanjing Road. High value compared to other hotels in this area. Staffs are good and friendly to arrange earlier check in for us to put our luaggage. I choose Ji because I wanna experience their tea smell and turns out it makes me feel comfortable! Downside is their food, very less variety. Room is smaller than expected.
