The service is very good. I booked a room for an exam, and it was a typhoon day. I was given a free upgrade of the bed from 1.35 to 1.8.
Because I needed to rest at noon for the exam, I was allowed to check out at 2pm.
The room was very clean and the decoration was quite new

Overall, the room was clean and satisfactory. It was an inner and outer suit. It was convenient to eat outside if you ordered takeout. There were snack bars and bun shops at the door of the hotel. It was just across a community from the Peace Eye Hospital we were going to. The temperature in Shanghai was suitable these days, and so was the room temperature. The bed in the room was not a big bed, but two beds put together, with a gap in the middle, and the shower was rusty. After all, it was already a good price to live in Shanghai, so be content and cleanliness is the most important thing. The tip was that the hotel staff had already reminded us when we checked in that the window of room 225 was facing the express sorting point, which was quite noisy. We thought it was okay and did not change rooms. It was indeed very noisy at noon and in the morning, which affected our sleep.

The room facilities are very good, the equipment is relatively new and clean, and the cleaning lady is also very responsible. The breakfast is very good, and the front desk staff is also very friendly and can help solve problems in a timely manner. The robot delivers items and takeaways very promptly. There are supermarkets and small restaurants within a few steps nearby, which is generally very convenient. I will come again next time!

The other brothers in the same room were very polite. The hostel also has a rule to turn off the lights at 12 o'clock at night. The bathroom is very clean, with two toilets and two bathrooms for men and women, and a washing machine (just a little expensive, I don't know if it's because the price in Shanghai is already high). The front desk, staff, and volunteers are all very enthusiastic. It was a very good experience! (I was afraid that there would be some problems staying in a youth hostel, but I didn't expect to meet such a good roommate and hostel for the first time)

帶娃出行最看重的就是衞生和乾淨，酒店都做到了，房間無異味，洗澡水大水温穩定，遊玩一整天能嘩嘩洗去一身疲勞，床墊應該是黃麻之類的軟硬適中，總之一覺醒來活力滿滿，沒有因為硬或者軟導致腰部不適。前台還有飲用水和牛奶咖啡茶可以自取，確實很暖心。唯一的不足是隔音不太好，還有窗簾遮光差點，但是這個房價和地理位置來説，可以彌補。酒店外旁邊就是商場，還有不少本地早點鋪，很方便。其實店家可以貼一些温馨提示，晚上幾點以後請勿喧嘩之類的還是會有幫助。對於睡眠輕的小夥伴可以配備耳塞和眼罩，一家優質酒店真的給旅途帶來更多舒適和歸屬感此次上海之行很完美！也祝酒店生意興隆！

The room is quite large, and milk and biscuits are provided in the evening. The only drawback is that there is no tissue box on the second floor. It is recommended to prepare an extra one. The dinner purchased by the hotel group is delicious and cost-effective. The buffet breakfast is also good, highly recommended.

SSusan Ng WilliamsOur family of 9 came and checked into 4 rooms @ Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden. The location was excellent, it was very convenient to many tourist attractions. Yu garden was within a 5 min walking distance. For those who need a break from Shanghai/Chinese food, conveniently across the street was a food mall with McDonald's, Dominos, Tim's, Dairy Queen, Noodle Shops, Dumpling Shop, and many more other food options. Located inside mall was also Luo Ma grocery/convenience store. Industrial Bank was next door with 2 atms and branch opening 9-5. Hotel seemed freshly renovated, clean and modern. Hotel offered choice of pillows from buckwheat to lavender. There was free coffee, tea bags, water, cola, sparkling water in the fridge. Breakfast buffet was good, it wasn't included in our room rate but somehow we weren't charged additional us$10.78 for breakfast. The staff at the reception desk were efficient, check in was quick and easy. They helped me with calling 3 taxis as I was not familiar with didi car hailing app yet. Great lobby area. Excellent hotel, great location and super helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends coming to Shanghai.

This is my second time staying here, and I think the room from last time was better laid out. The blind was broken, the shower door handle was broken, the floor tiles were creaking. I don’t think the staff speak English, so have a translator app ready.

GGuest UserI like staying in the hotel because friendly staff provides very good service. The rooms are new and clean, although you can’t expect nice view as the hotel is located in an ordinary suburb in pudong. As to the breakfast , you have so many choices , and most of the are delicious.
It is close to pudong airport , but if you want to take train , you need walk about 1.3 km to the nearest station.
I would expect the hotel providing better dinner or super , and I am happy to pay more for some full meals rather than noodles or wonton.

First of all, in the first few days of our stay, Miss Vicky, the director of the guest relations department, took the initiative to contact us, added her contact information, and asked us about our check-in time, any needs, etc.! And upgraded our room type for free! The service is very considerate!
After checking in on the day of check-in, he took the initiative to introduce us to the hotel and the room, and thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits, tea and desserts for us! Welcome sign, and luggage tag with our own names...
The room facilities are all very high-end! Very clean! The service is also very good! Good looking, warm and friendly, they made us feel like home!
Breakfast can be delivered to our room, it is delicious and unique!
The gym is very large, and there are dedicated staff to provide water, towels and cut fruits!
In addition, the afternoon tea is delicious! The view from the top terrace is beautiful!
Finally, considering our flight, they also provided us with a late check-out for free! They gave us valuable chocolates and candies before leaving! All in all, I am very satisfied with this experience. I will come to Shanghai again during the Qingming Festival and will continue to stay at Bulgari!

GGuest UserVery bad experience with this hotel，I reserved one night stay at this hotel via trip.com and paid about $83 (equivalent to 600 CNY) a couple of months ago. I arrived yesterday after midnight, the hotel asked me to pay again plus 500 CNY deposit, so I paid $156 (equivalent to 1100 CNY = 600 CNY + 500 CNY deposit) for about 8 hours stay, I left at 8:30 am, the hotel still owes me 500 CNY. Seems like the hotel doesn’t trust trip.com.

Great fitness, spa, and swimming pool area that all opens at 8a (late for a fitness area since we like early morning workouts). The from desk staff very organized and accommodating. Room service and other dining options throughout the day available. Perfect location to walk to the Jing’An area and even Kerry Centre. Easy pick up cabins for meituan. HhannahbananahI love Yiqinyuan for the calm and peaceful forest, I walked by myself during the last day and if you do visit, try to do it without any gadget. Just bring your keycard. Walk through the tall trees, hear the birds, feel the sun and inhale fresh air.
It is very sad that I have a non-refundable ticket that made me not enjoy the accomodation I booked. Since it was the coldest day of the year they decided to move all guests who stays in the container van rooms to their building rooms. To move In their main building I need to add more payment and we were relocated to building 5. It was also an advantage since the Foresta Cafe was there and the playroom (not so much in there but still worth the visit). However, the room we were in was so dusty, the aircon was blowing some dusty air and the carpet was so dirty. It ruined the whole trip and even of they were able to change the beddings and vacuum the carpet it was still tickling our noses. We were really looking forward to a nice Christmas trip but yeah. I booked 3 nights because we really love the place. 😭 The next day I asked again to be moved to a different room, they said they were fully booked but alas there was an available room next to us. The first room was so inconvenient because whenever we turn the lights off the WIFI also goes off. The fridge was not working well, the temperature outside was much better. The second room was better than the first room but the exhaust fan wasn't working.
The breakfast was only located in the main restaurant which was 15 mins (waiting for the electric car) away from our building. It was a race to get to breakfast and the seating was not enough to be near the buffet. Time is running and you have Marathon between your table and the buffet table. Food was great though they alternate between the dates. Dinner was also good and had great service but not so much choice of small dished for a small family. Local food at it's best!
La Foresta Cafe was interesting. They helped us keep our Christmas pies in their fridge. The only way to order was via the QR on the table but the catch was you have to pay right away for your order to go through which waa different from the main restaurant. So there we were waiting for our food but they didn't really get through and had to end up sitting and waiting for an hour. The next day it took 30 mins. for the food to come. The taste was good serving was big, can share.
The electric cars were very prompt and the drivers were very kind and polite.
The food again was really yummy!
The staff were friendly too.
You can buy swan/duck feed at 5rmb/2 packs at the coffee shop at the reception.
They were giving away eyemask and heatpacks.
The bottles water was also free. The snack at the room was cheaper than the vending machine.
It is far from the town so make sure you have what you need before heading to the resort.
They have hangers and iron in every room at building 5 where we stayed.
Not a lot of English speaking staff so bring some Mandarin phrases or get ready with a translator APP.
After a long mixed review I just wish that the resort informed us ahead that the accomodation will not be available and made an option for rebooking or ensure better accomodation it was really a hassle.

MMimiThe decoration smell is too strong. The air conditioner in the corridor is very cold when the air conditioner enters the room. It feels like staying in the refrigerator. The room heater is not turned on. I can only check out at night. I can't stay any longer. The smell is heavy and cold. Many places are not perfect. The restaurant is not open. Currently, there is only breakfast on the second floor. The renovation of the dinner buffet was a big failure. All the good-looking design points were deleted. But now the design company and decoration company have no level at all and can only be described as crude.
