I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS but I can’t. We are a military family moving cross country to our new base. We booked this hotel because it’s part of Wyndham and I’ve stayed at others and have had a great experience. My husband checked in and let them know I was in the car with my Dogs as One is my PTSD Dog. The hotel checked him in and refrained from letting him know, their only working elevator is VERY slow and takes 3-5 mins for it to actually reached the floor selected. Even though it has already stopped. For ANYONE, they should be letting them know because it can feel like the elevator it STUCK! But especially someone with PTSD, or another type of MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE! Especially because it’s TEXAS, it’s hot here, and there is NO AIR CONDITIONING in the elevator nor where the stairs are. So there were 5 grown adults on the SMALL elevator with ZERO AIR and I started having a PAIN ATTACK!! The lady on the elevator with us, tried to lighten the mood and help by kinda half laugh and said that “it’s okay this happens ALL THE TIME! Just give it a couple mins!” ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?? I threw my stuff in my room and went down stairs. I was VISIBLY UPSET and asked for a manager. I was told it a stoned half awake face “there isn’t one.” I told him I had PTSD and what had just happened in the elevator. And asked WHY WE WERE NOT MADE AWARE upon check in. When they were told I had PTSD! Instead of offering an apology, we were met with arguments about them not knowing I had PTSD. That they weren’t told. The guy kept ROLLING HIS DAMN EYES AT ME, like I was annoying and boring him. I was about to have a FULL BLOWN episode. Instead the only way I half got his attention, was asking for his and the lady’s name. He asked me why instead of just giving me the names. I replied “I’ll just deal with this in the morning. I want both your names now.” He YET AGAIN ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME, reluctantly gave me their names. And again, NEVER EVEN OFFERED AN APOLOGY!! There was only one younger kid that was kind and attentive, when he saw me walk in the back door and saw I was struggling with carrying my dogs cage. As my right hand is in a brace. Young boy should get a raise and take the place of the 2 Nincompoops “running” the receptionist desk. They have ZERO personality and have ZERO customers service. Honestly, coming from someone that hates doing this, THEY SHOULD BE FIRED!! And I’m VERY tempted to call CODE ENFORCEMENT IN THE MORNING TO COME CHECH THIS PLACE OUT. Because elevators shouldn’t be running like that.
