The King room is extremely small the sink is outside the room and the restrom doesn have a Door per-sé be ready to pay a $20 dolars "cleaning/guess" fee even if you pay the room already, be also ready to pay $40 to $60 for parking Staff is ok dont expect them to give you a nice welcome or nice recommendations. The room and hygiene are average, the location is good, but the service is very poor. The front desk clerk seemed to owe her millions, and there was no sense of welcome. Especially at night, there was only someone answering the phone: Since there was only a very thin blanket in the room and it was quite cold at night, I wanted to add a blanket. I made 3 calls and waited for more than 20 minutes before it was delivered. I will not go there again.

The location of the hotel is very convenient on Broadway. The hotel rooms are served 24 hours a day, and there are free fruits including oranges and apples at the front desk. It's too late. Regular cleaning, the attitude of the front desk is okay, but there is no money to change. The room is relatively small, and the three-star hotel is a bit expensive for this fare.

The hotel is located in the city center, like an old-fashioned standard hotel. The lobby is very beautiful and may be in disrepair. The slight downside is that the rooms are not newly renovated, but the facilities are complete. There are many attractions and restaurants nearby.

We have returned to The Sofia once again. It is a convenient venue right in downtown San Diego with easy access to lots and lots of places. The Staff is always friendly and the rooms are lovely. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome. Jason & Tom

The hotel itself is beautiful. The lobby is very welcoming and the front desk staff and bell hop were all extremely pleasant. They gave me a free room upgrade based on my VIP status with *******. The elevators are tiny and older. It is a good thing there are only 7 floors, so you don't have to wait long. The hallways are dim and give off a horror movie vibe. Once in the room, it was beautiful as well. It had a living room, vanity outside the bathroom, a rain shower and a large very comfortable bed. Some of the lights in the room didn't work and the coffee provided in the room was not good, but otherwise a great room. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy. There were a ton of homeless people and I wouldn't suggest walking around at night. It is a few blocks from bars/restaurants/CVS, etc. I would recommend this place if you had a car or Uber to where you need to go.

The building is old, which is fine but the cleanliness of the room had layers of dust and dirt on everything.

Loved the building and the atmosphere. It is very well located for our purpose and walkable to many sights in San Diego.
