Chongqing Miss Xie'S House

Perfect location, clean and stylish room, the view is something out of this world. Would definitely stay here again.

The reception is located on level 16 and there is no signage at the lobby to indicate the homestay, and may wonder if get into the right building. There are several homestay or hotel operators in this 25 storeys building with only 2 guests lifts and 1 loading lift to cater to all guests and tenants. Had to wait for more than 10 minutes at peak hours for the lift. Suggest to allocate at least 20 min during peak hours for the lift. Exit through level 4 to Baixiang Jie pedestrian street. The hotel is not within a close walk to the some of the sightseeing places and takes approximately 30 minutes on foot to Raffles city, Chaotianmen cruise embarkation or Hongya dong. The room is quite spacious but rather old and run down. There is no floor mat provided and one can easily slip and fell after shower. The water pressure in the shower is weak when adjusting to hot water. The heater in the washroom is quite noisy. There is a washing machine cum dryer which is very convenient when staying for a few nights. There is also a mini fridge, microwave and plates and cutleries in the pantry area. The room has a view of the river. On the same floor where i am staying, i believe the room next door is occupied by some locals working nearby and i could hear them cooking and frying dishes almost everyday. There is a travel agency located in the building next door, hence it is convenient to make reservations for sightseeing tours. I will not stay in this homestay if i visit Chongqing again.

Great little room with good amenities and easy check-in. The view of the Yangtze River is great! Sadly the bath water was only freezing cold 🥶

I very like and happy to stay at Chong Qing Miss Xie’s house… Miss xie’s service is very good , we contact customer service by we chat , that is very easy , convenient and they very fast to reply us… We rent two room for 4 night , it is so nice … location also very good…4th floor can go to bai xiang jie, very convenient… It is suitable for couples and friends , even family too (there provide washing+ dryers machines )… I really will visit Chong Qing again and stay at Miss Xue’ s house… Sincerely, their service very good , we love it too much , thanks … Price I also feel valued for it 🥰🥰🥰

I throughly enjoyed my stay in this room. It came with a Japanese hot tub and it was facing the Yangtze River. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Suitable for couples too! The location is convenient as there are several local restaurants within the vicinity and it’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest subway station.

I was their for the 2 first days of solo-trip in Chongqing. The location will be walkable to downtown and mountainous areas. Just be aware of not using elevator during 11-12 am. It takes tone of time.

The location is very good. You can walk to many tourist spot places such as JieFangBei, Shibati and Bayilu easily. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is very good. You can chat with them with Wechat. I had a very good time staying here. Recommend for any traveller.

Looks good on the surface but fairly bad once you dive even a little bit below. Walls were mouldy and not clean, the room unfortunately also smells of mould. The bathtub was functional but broken (the tap wasn't fixed) - the tub itself is also low quality and very light so if you move around in the tub it will also move... the bench on the washing machine had stains which were apparently impossible to remove but "clean" and we found cockroaches in the room. The electricity broke on our last night there and they had to swap out the entire switchboard. Location is opposite a highway / big road and petrol station so we did not feel safe at night walking back. The projector doesn't work unless you have Chinese programs installed which we didn't as foreigners. The one redeeming point is that the view is great but it is fairly expensive for all the other faults that come with it. The reception is friendly but does not speak English - there was a girl who used to work there who did but I was told she had left. Overall 3/5.
