Element Guangzhou Baiyun

My first night, I stayed at the Kempinski. The room and service were quite good, but the municipal construction happening 5 meters away, day and night [face with tears of joy emoji], was a bit much. So, I re-evaluated and switched to this place, which was said to be quieter. The environment is indeed nice. Three hotels form a circle here. It's not convenient for sightseeing, but it's perfect for someone like me who's just wandering around without a specific itinerary. The soundproofing isn't great; I could still hear all sorts of noises from next door at 2 AM. The windows have a nice design, but the curtains don't reach the floor, so light leaks in.

The room was very clean, the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, and the environment was beautiful and comfortable. I'll definitely come again.

This weekend, I visited Guangzhou with friends and stayed at the Element Guangzhou International Convention Center. I'm giving it a five-star review based on five aspects. First, the location is incredibly convenient for guests. It's closest to Guangzhou Metro Line 2; just walk through the International Convention Center, and you're at Baiyun Culture Square Metro Station – travel couldn't be easier. Second, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was very fast, and after we were settled, they patiently answered our travel inquiries with great enthusiasm, proactively thinking about our needs. Third, the room layout is practical and spacious. I particularly liked that the room has two washbasins, a microwave, and the shower water doesn't splash into the rest of the bathroom at all. The water pressure is strong, making for a very comfortable shower. Fourth, the hotel breakfast is excellent. The dining area is clean, and tables are spaced out, making for a comfortable meal. More importantly, the breakfast spread is extensive and delicious. Fifth, the hotel facilities are great. The air conditioning is also very powerful. As soon as you walk into the hotel, you feel cool and comfortable.

My partner and I are a weekend couple based in Guangzhou, and after three years, Element Hotel is still our go-to treasure for dates. Its garden environment is absolutely top-tier among Guangzhou hotels, offering both a central city location and the tranquility and greenery of the suburbs. Everything else, from the rooms and hotel facilities to the surrounding amenities, transportation, ease of food delivery, value for money, and service, is essentially flawless. (I’ve stayed at the Marriott and Four Points next door several times too, but I still like this one the best.) It truly deserves an exceptional rating.

Having stayed at the Marriott and Sheraton next door before, this time I checked into Element, so now I've visited all three. A big thank you to the front desk lady for helping me extend my check-out until 2 PM. The hotel's dominant green color scheme is quite pleasing to the eye; everything is green, even the robots! The swimming pool and gym are shared with the Sheraton. The buffet breakfast on the 1st floor and the noodles from Yuxingji are also quite good. It's definitely a great choice for a staycation.

The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was pleasant. I loved the sophisticated perfume scent in the lobby and on the bedding. The front desk service was excellent; they were warm, patient, and always ready to help. Overall, it offers great value for money.
