The room had a musty smell, and there were dead crickets in the air vent in the bathroom. It was noisy as well. The fire alarm flashed a very bright light the whole night as well. Disappointed.

Disappointing for a Marriott. We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping did a poor job of cleaning our room each day of stay. Hair could clearly still be seen on the bathroom floor, wet and used washcloth not changed, and for the 3 nights we stayed, our glasses were not washed AT ALL. Basic necessities that smaller (and cheaper) hotels would provide such as microwave and water in the rooms were nowhere to be found in the rooms at this location. We stayed here because it was the location of the conference we attended, and the WiFi was not complimentary. Another disappoin**ent for a Marriott location. Not a great stay or experience, sad to say.

Our stay at the Mariott was excellent, all around. The staff were friendly and very pleasant to work with, the hotel itself was beautiful and our room was very comfortable and clean. Even though the hotel was VERY close to the airport (ie. convenient!), we couldn’t hear it at all. The next time I’m in San Antonio, I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a really nice hotel. Fully renovated. Staff was friendly and corteous. My only issue was with the bed which seemed very uncomfortable. They could use some new beds.

Rooms could have been cleaner. I always wipe down the counters and they were dirty.
They add lots of taxes to your room! About $25 so add that to whatever you are paying per night. Otherwise nice overall experience.

The only problem we had was with the thermostat. It was freezing the first night even though someone had come to the room and explained how to operate the thermostat earlier. The next day it was still cold and a maintenance man came and did a thorough check and fixed the problem. After that the room was great. It had a lot of extra conveniences like chargers for phones, streaming service and a hand held shower wand.
