Terrible place, bathroom disgusting, kitchen dirty and overall just would never return. Reception was also bad and was charged for wood additionally without being told in advance, TV did not work and this place was totally overpriced for a wooden house in a terrible location.

The place was so nice and quite , just what we wanted , a vacation just to getaway from the busy joburg to a subtle place full of trees and a warm feel from Joe and Larraine ....my son even now can't stop raving about uncle Joe, overall it was a nice stay and we most definitely gonna come back again ...much appreciated, thank you

Joe & Lorraine are amazing hosts. My family had a great time at Woodland Gardens and it was such a special and magical place. If we are ever on that side of the world again, we will definitely book our stay with them again. Thank you for your hospitality and for such an awesome home away from home.

This place is the most amazing place ever! Enjoyed it so much and the dogs are so friendly, especially Oscar who was with my partner and I from the time we checked in until we checked out. I would definitely go back just for the dogs.

It was a really nice Cottage to stay and pool and gardens. The parking was far away from the Cottage, difficult to carry everything The Cottages are close to a busy road - was quite disappointed to hear the traffic

Beautiful bush location and family cottage providing a farm feel to the trip , will definately return. Value for money and within reasonable travel distance from Johannesburg North. Local pets were friendly.

A stunning place for a weekend away. Our cabin was perfect, rustic, clean and well equipped, with beautiful views over farm lands and the Magalies mountain range in the background. It is pet friendly & totally fenced in for the safety of your pets. The braai area in front of our cabin also had a roof just in case it rains. It`s very quiet, peaceful and private, beautiful swimming pool and surrounding grounds for a stroll with your fur babies. Our hosts Lorraine and her hubby were amazing, very informative and extremely helpful. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Our sole purpose was to have time to unwind together, in an undisturbed, quiet and peaceful setting. You provided all our requirements in the chalet including the free flow patio and the sumptuous sunken outside bath with a view of the night sky.. Thank you for your warm welcome and warmth of receiving us when we met family members in the surrounds. The only negative was the noise from traffic passing on the road and the occasional train - although we love train journeys and know there is little you can do about the road noise level - the cost would be substantial. So our heartfelt thanks for allowing us to experience a few wonderful days with you and if the opportunities should arise, we will see you again. With our gratitude

The chalet was just right, except that we would have preferred a shower, instead of the bath. The garden was lovely, considering there has been no rain. Security is good, and we felt totally at ease. Our dog was overjoyed at having a garden to run around in, and soon got used to the resident dogs.
