Everything was very good, room was clean, staff very friendly. Equipment of room was older and TV was very basic, but considering the price, it is not an issue.

The location is very far from the city.
The room is very old with furniture that smells bad because it's old.
The staff is not at all welcoming and very bitter.
During the complimentary breakfast, they might take away what's on your plate if they've finished serving.
I really don't recommend it!!!

Everything was okay, and the room was good value for money. The hotel's unseparated wet and dry areas were a little surprising. I used the tub and water seeped onto the carpet, so I was fined 50 euros. This is a normal consequence of normal use, so why should I be fined?

The facilities and amenities were great for the price.
The only thing I would say is that the outlets were not in a good position, so it might be a good idea to have an extension cord.

Good value for money on New Year's Eve.
It's a shame that the style of the hotel is a little dated. It deserves to be refreshed.

I am writing to formally report a serious incident that occurred at Rezidence Emmy Hotel in Prague on 21 April 2026. I arrived at the hotel on 20 April 2026 as part of the Anatolia tour group. Upon arrival, we were informed at reception that breakfast the following morning (21 April) would be served in the main reception area. However, when we arrived for breakfast, we were told that the location had changed to the first floor, and we were directed there. This change itself was not an issue. Upon entering the breakfast area, we were not given any instructions regarding seating. As several tables were and full, I sat at the only available clean table. Although there was a reserved sign, I reasonably assumed it was for our tour group, given that we had just been redirected to this location. At this point, a staff member named “Jolaua Saudoval Gouzalez “ began behaving in a highly unprofessional and aggressive manner. She raised her voice, became visibly agitated, and spoke to me in a rude and confrontational way. I attempted to calmly explain the misunderstanding and the information we had been given at reception, but her behavior escalated. She made it sound as if I had made it up and was shouting at me. To clarify the situation, I accompanied her to reception, where it was confirmed that we had indeed been previously directed to a different breakfast location. Following this, the staff member’s behavior worsened significantly. She used inappropriate and offensive language towards me and continued to act aggressively. Most concerningly, I am currently seven months pregnant, and she physically pushed and touched me in an aggressive manner as I attempted to return to the breakfast area. This is evident on camera also. She also followed me while continuing to shout abuse. This conduct was extremely distressing and completely unacceptable, particularly given my condition. The situation was eventually addressed by her manager, who behaved professionally and later apologized for her conduct. However, the seriousness of the incident—especially the physical contact and verbal abuse—cannot be overlooked. When I told her that I will make a formal complaint, she told me to kiss her ass & that she dis not care. I respectfully request that this matter be formally investigated. I would like to file a complaint specifically regarding the staff member’s behavior, including both verbal and physical aggression. As an international visitor, I find this experience deeply concerning and not reflective of acceptable hospitality standards. I would appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been received and information on any actions taken. Other than the above - rooms were ok , fairly decent . Breakfast was fine .

We stayed at Hotel Residence Emmy last year (2024), we loved it. That's the main reason we select the same for this year (2025). Downtown Prague is far away from this hotel. You need to public transportation, which takes you downtown (Muzeum metro station) in 30 minutes. What you need to do is take 138 or 193 numbered public bus, departed in front of hotel, then get off the bus at Kacerov metro station and take metro from there. Tickets can be purchased in the bus by your credit card. Do not forget to activate it right away, otherwise you may pay penalty in case of ticket controls by Prague public transportation authorities. Hotel is working mainly with tour groups. Check in is so easy, reservation guy is so polite and warm. We're really appreciated his professionalism. The rooms are comfortable and wide enough; however, no AC available (pedestal fan provided), which may be discomfort for someone else, especially in the hot summer days. Refrigarator, hairdryer, kettle etc are provided in the room. Detailed cleaning is very good. Hotel's open buffet breakfast is well prepared and serviced. This is one of the best parts of the hotel. Summary: 1. If you need very good hotel with open buffet breakfast, AC is not priority for you, plan to visit Prague easily by using public transportation, this hotel is one of the best selection. 2. If hotel management asks whether we come again; the answer is yes, as long as keep balanced price&performance. We hope to stay again and we will recommend this place to our friends, who plan to visit Prague.

First of all i have to say, that i think this is not a 4* hotel. I would give it 3*. Maybe in the past it had 4*. About the stay: + Staff is friendly, rooms are big and clean, breakfast is good, parking is for free(if you book on the official website), prices are good and with breakfast - Its a little fat away-you need around 40 Minutes to the city centre with the bus and metro At the breakfast, the waiters take your plates, even if you’re not finished. Yes, you can take a new one- but why? It’s annoying when you’re every 5 minutes disturbed. I was not angry with them, cause they are doing just their job. As i said - wrong category Resume: It was a pleasant stay and i would book it once again - price and what you get is good!
Response from Property: Dear Alex, Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Rezidence Emmy and for taking the time to share your impressions. We truly appreciate your kind words about our friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, as well as our breakfast options and complimentary parking. We are also glad that, despite your concerns, you found the overall value of the stay worthwhile and would consider booking with us again. We understand your reservations regarding our four-star classification. Rezidence Emmy meets internationally recognized standards for a four-star rating, but we also believe that continuous improvement is key to maintaining this level. Your feedback about the breakfast service is particularly helpful; we will certainly address our team’s approach to ensure guests can enjoy their meals without feeling rushed. As you noted, our location is in a quieter part of Prague, which can mean a slightly longer journey to the city center. Many of our guests appreciate the peaceful environment, but we do understand the importance of reliable transportation and are always happy to provide tips for the quickest routes and schedules. Thank you once again for your review. We value your perspective, and we are committed to refining our services to exceed expectations in the future. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back soon. Average hotel with fine rooms; however I would give breakfast 'lower average' level .If you come later in the morning, everything on the bar is cold and staff starts cleaning everything around you at 10.01 regardless of people still sitting and eating there.
Response from Property: Dear Judy, Many thanks for reviewing your stay. We are glad to read that you enjoyed our fine rooms. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back soon. With kind regards from Prague, Adela Nachtigal W. Sales&Marketing Manager

We stayed at this hotel during a bus tour and it was our worst hotel on the program. It is located very far from the historical center, on some kind of working outskirts and therefore is absolutely not suitable for exploring the city. The hotel is quite large, with crowds of people and somehow uncomfortable - neither outside nor inside. And the photos presented here do not really correspond to reality - everything is older and dull. The room was a normal size, we had it on a high floor with a beautiful view of the modern quarter of Prague (very far away). The beds and bedding are normal. The worst thing was hot water from the boiler and there was no time to wait for it to heat up either in the morning or in the evening. Considering that transit travelers who arrive late and leave early stop here, this is very strange - after all, there is no time to wait for the water to heat up. Breakfast was also disappointing - the choice of dishes is small, everything is not very tasty, there is no space, mountains of dirty dishes that they don’t have time to clean. On the positive side - a wonderful day spent in my beloved Prague. If you are tempted by the price, then I think that even for that kind of money you will find something closer to the center if you come to explore the city.

The hotel rooms are very old, poorly maintained, the toilet and the bathroom are in a separate place, there is a bathtub in the bathroom and the shower is broken, there is no sink to wash hands in the toilet, the floors are carpeted, there are no mosquito nets on the windows, there is no air conditioning in the room. The hotel rooms are very old, there is never wifi in the rooms. The lobby is very narrow. You can reach the reception from the room. It is impossible. The breakfast is not bad. There is no bar like a hotel for the elderly, the restaurant closes early. I think it is designed only for sleeping.
