Loved our stay here. Charlie Chaplin room was gorgeous and unique albeit a little dark with the black painted walls and ceilings. Huge private terrace with incredible views really makes the room. The pool is lovely and fairly unique for Porto. Location is on a bit of a deserted street just off the main hilltop tourist area but we walked to and from there at night and never felt unsafe. Breakfast was excellent.

Special thanks to Camilla and Soraia on the front desk and to the food and beverage manager and all the restaurant and housekeeping staff for excellent Service which went above and beyond what we expected...Nothing is too much trouble for this excellent team. The room was quiet and comfortable and the food and breakfast is the best we ate in Porto. We truly felt we were leaving good friends by the time we left .Thank you all for a truly great stay. We stayed there for 3 nights. Although the room was on the first floor facing at the back, the view was still amazing. Room great, bed and matress great. Toilet very small and difficult to move or leave your things around. However, not a major problem. Towels were changed every day. Breakfast was amazing, various and plenty. We tried almost everything. The food was tasty and fresh. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all our questions and gave us helpful advice about destinations and travelcards. I asked them to refill the shower gel, as it had finished, and they did that the next second. Kitchen staff very helpful and picked up all the dirty dishes from the table after asking you. Location not in the city centre but the bus terminal is behind the shopping mall (which is near the hotel) so we had all the options of taking any bus to anywhere. You can also top up the Andante Travel Bus card in the bus terminal. Metro station is also next to Casa Da Musica (all busses stop there). Very good hotel, we can definitely stay there again next time we visit Porto.

The room on the 1st floor was Spacious, clean, the air con and black out curtains worked well and the bathroom had 2 sinks, a bidet and a large shower. The staff are all very helpful, polite and friendly. The lovely roof top terrace is a great bonus after a day sightseeing, the drinks are reasonably priced e.g. 3.50 euros for a large beer and 7 for a cocktail (these are well made, not like a certain place we went too in Porto -WOW !!) you could taste the alcohol and the bar staff will bring them up to you, also a very nice addition is free nibbles later in the afternoon. All round great hotel.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Porto for 2 nights recently as part of a work trip. The hotel is in a good location, about 10 mins drive from the airport. There are a few small shops and bars / restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice, a great size and come with all the usual amenities that you'd expect from such a hotel. I ate in the bar on each night, the food was great and very good value for money. The service provided by the 2 bartenders was also great! I'll be back again in early summer and would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel in Porto.

No tea and coffee or free water in the room only one free plug on one side of a double bed. Our bathroom toiletries was a shower cap but there were squeeze bottles of shower gel,shampoo and bath gel attached to the shower. Only one glass in the room although we were in a room for couples; there were 2 small ones in the bathroom. The tiny glasses allowed you to have some water to brush your teeth so you don't bang your head on the overhead cupboard mirror which is totally unnecessary since it doesn't hold anything. The basin was so shallow that you dare not leave it running long. There was a bidet if you need one, otherwise it just takes up valuable bathroom realestate. One of the few hotels without a pool and reliable WiFi in our room. No news in English. but old movies overdubbed in Portuguese. I was told that they were working on upgrading their WiFi. On the plus side, the room was clean, breakfast was plentiful with a good range of food. Thr staff as helpful as as was possible. The area is good for access to art galleries and eateries.

It was so beautiful and insanely good! We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Comfortable rooms and location easy enough to get into all parts of the city using Uber, which are very reasonable and cost around 3 euros to the furthest point at the river. You could walk but my father has some mobility issues and the uber was much faster, allowing us to expore poroto without tiring from the walk into town. The hotel is kept well, is cosy and inviting once inside, dont be put off by the exterior. Rooms were very well designed for the price bracket. Attention to detail of items in the bathroom need to be addressed though. Soap dish was loose on the wall as was the faucet on the bathroom sink. Small details that bring an otherwise very nice room below its potential. Although a little firm for me, I still slept very well on the bed. No external noise heard and quiet and effective air conditioning. The safe was an issue for me. We had 2 rooms and the safe was not bolted into the wardrobe, you could remove the safe if you wanted to. This makes the safe redundant and concerned me. The front desk also do not have their own safe for guest valuables. However we had no issued and our belongings remained untouched. The hotels did lock our belongings into a storage room on our last day. I would definitely stay here again and I think this hotel offers both an element of luxury whilst remaining a mid priced option. The staff were also very helpful and attentive.

A lovely building and glorious garden hidden behind an unassuming front door. The twin room was neat and clean, the continental breakfast reasonable and varied, but the real gems here are the lovely architecture of the building's communal areas and the idyllic garden, with several comfortable seating areas for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of Porto. There are delightful hotel cats who have their own separate garden apartment. The hotel opens onto a pedestrianised cobble-stoned street in an old area of the city. There are quirky shops and lots of traditional and reasonably-priced cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. The staff are really sweet and helpful. This hotel is a little jewel.
