Oxley Cove Apartments

The two-bedroom apar**ent (16 I think) was spacious for our one night. Furnishings were good. The room was very quiet. We were allowed early entry to the apar**ent after arriving an hour early. Reasonably close to water and CBD. We were only provided with two tiny pieces of soap for two persons and one wash cloth, with no shampoo/body wash containers etc that are now common in accommodation bathrooms. Car parking was adequate under awning cover. The bathroom in this apar**ent was very dated with an old plastic shower screen. I unfortunately had to kill two cockroaches, one in the second bedroom and one in the kitchen. I left them in the unit hoping to bring them to the notice of the managers the next morning, but they were not opening the office until 9am, well after our departure time. Hopefully the cleaner reported them. These office hours do not fit with the needs of travelling clients, but they may have their reasons. Would I recommend or stay again, unfortunately not.

Beds comfy, ceiling fans both bedrooms & lounge area. Toilet & shower same room. Parking undercover, free bbq, laundry at $3 a load, dryer was broken, clotheslines& pegs avail. We found the overall feel of the place not holiday friendly or inviting. Received 2 txts on route re booking in as no one at reception to book in with, re keys, which seemed to be the norm at this place, reception unattended most afternoons. Some of the txts were in capitals which is aggressive & rude. They need to rethink their approach to customers. Signs everywhere on what not to do, made us feel unwelcome. Would have been helpful to have a trolley avail like other places to help move our gear in & out. Price was reasonable, quiet location away from beach & town centre.

Great location to beach and bowling club. Big units with large bedrooms. Kitchen has microwave, large fridge and cooker. Extra clean and fresh. Towels supplied small soaps for couple of nights supplied along with a few tea, coffee,sugar and a small milk. Units on ground floor or upstairs, two and three bedrooms. Ironing board with iron provided also clothes horse. Laundry (coin operated) washing line with use of pegs. Nice pool and BBQ area. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Hig chair and cot free if required. Undercover parking.Very reasonable and thoroughly recommend to all.

This is the second time we have stayed at Oxley Cove Apar**ents. We enjoyed our stay on both occasions. The units were spotless and well equiped. Easy walk to Town Beach and down the street to the Port Macquarie Bowling Club. The pool and undercover parking are a bonus. We will be staying again when next in Port!

Good for an overnight stay as clean and affordable but does not have a relaxed holiday vibe. I received 3 text messages before I even arrived explaining some of the House Rules re disposing of rubbish etc. On entering the apar**ent there were House Rules in every room except the bedroom. The pool looked good but make sure you read the long list of House Rules before you dare enter the water.
