Hotels near Ao Por, Phuket

It is relatively simple and coincides with the peak period of Phuket. If you don't book a room a few days in advance, you have very few options.

There were no one at the place when I came, just a sheet of paper with a phone number on it and something in Thai. Had to call 3 different numbers (the one in the booking, the one on the entrance and the one on the paper sheet), then in maybe 15 minutes a guy came and checked me in. The location is nice but a bit deserted. The room has a balcony facing a stream, looks nice when the sun is rising. Google Maps says the nearby building is a bakery, but it wasn't working. Not a lot of places around to eat, but there's a 7-11 on the main road.

First time staying, very impressed, the hotel is calm, clean, not far from Mai Khao Beach. Near the plane viewpoint, near 7-11 in front of the hotel, there is a convenient restaurant, good service staff. More importantly, the pool is very beautiful. There is a chance to come to stay again for sure, worth the price, inexpensive, every private pool.

Staying at this hotel, the rooms are clean, the facilities are good, and the overall maintenance of the hotel is also very good. The hotel is a bit old, but the hotel staff are very friendly. I will come next time if I have a chance.

The hotel covers a large area. The swimming pool is trained by professional players from all over the world every day. There are always various sports venues you like.

We stayed here 3 nights. Flying in very late to Phuket, we have never been and were slightly nervous traveling with a 5 year old. This beautiful ,very clean bungalow was perfect! Parait the host was simply incredible. Very kind and helpful,he guided us through our 1st 2 days in Thailand. Free bikes were awesome to ride beach side, which was about 1.8km. Plants if shops and restaurants around although food at the little cafe here was affordable and delicious!! This area is rural and very quite, which we enjoyed. It is a farmhouse hotel. The environment is not bad. The room is a sheet room. There is no hot bath (Thailand is a common problem. The room temperature water has not lived in thousands of RMB). The reception staff is not good. It is estimated that they can't speak English and don't know the things booked online. The most important thing is to check out and ask me what I pass. I have stayed in a hotel in Thailand for so many times. I can’t figure it out. Later, I found out that I asked me what platform I booked. I said that trip point.com people just don’t know if they have learned some knowledge. I have to read dot or Trip.com is not as well-known as agoda. Otherwise, I can guess it. Unhappy, I found an excuse to leave the big things in the room. I have to come to the key and take the tip that was originally placed on the bedside table back. I have lived for more than half a month and spent less.

Location: quite difficult to locate, some bolt drivers got lost trying to find the entrance Check in: was a breeze, but had to pay a deposit of 5000baht which we were not informed of even in trip or confirmation email, i wish this was more transparent. It will only be returned to you during check out after housekeeping staff check your room( it will be deducted any item is damaged or missing) - After check in, shuttle will bring you up as the rooms are location on top, lobby at the bottom of the hill. The shuttle was very dangerous , if you are with luggage, going up the hill theres no buckle to hold on to your luggage if you do not hold on to it tight enough, it will just roll off the shuttle , we were also not warned about the steep slope. ＞ our room was located in the middle of the blocks, so the shuttle dropped us at the bottom and we had to climb the stairs with our luggages, the staff did not want to help us carry at first. - no shelter at all at the lobby, if its raining, then you’ll have to walk under the rain to the shuttle. - you can request the shuttle to drive you from your room to the lobby/vise versa as it is not really convenient with the hill and STEPS. -The first 2 days, staff was fine, all good driving us up and down whenever we called, then out of a sudden, they asked us to use the ‘shortcut’ to our room. Did not specify why, but we rejected after walking the FLOCK OF STAIRS for a day, they were at least 5 stories steep mind you. - if you do not wish to take the stairs, you may walk up/ down the hill, which is VERY dark during night time. Check out: worst day of all, they called your room at 1145 to rush you to check out, said will send a shuttle to OUR ROOM but did not specify which block they will be waiting at, we waited but no one came to our room. After waiting for 5mins? We are unsure if we should carry our luggages up or down to the different pickup point, so i used the staff phone outside to phone the lobby to clarify. The staff answering the phone did not even bother to listen to my question, she just answered, ‘check out? Yes ok we will send a shuttle’ then i asked again, WHICH BLOCK SHOULD I WAIT AT?? And she replied me ‘CHECK OUT YES OR NO?’ I said YES, then she just said OK and ENDED MY CALL. In the end, we had to carry our down luggage, without any help, up the steep stairs, and the shuttle WASN’T even there. We waited for extra 5-10mins before the shuttle came. check out: at the lobby, had to wait 10mins for housekeeping to check our rooms before we can check out successfully and get our deposit back. At the same time I had already feedback my encounter to the manager at the lobby, which said she will take care of if later. She’s fine, she apologized. ＞ and finally it was our turn to collect the deposit, the same lady who pickup and ended my call, called out to me. ‘NI HAO NI HAO( hello hello in mandarin) I was so offended, not every asian looking person can understand mandarin and she could have spoken to me in english cause I spoke to her manager in english right? Its obvious that she did not want to speak to me probably cause i feedback about her. All in all, i will not recommend this hotel. Thank you.

The door n the wall not thick enough to cover everybody shouting on the coriddor and the drunken people late at night. The location near the mall n bagla road got night market, bars, restaurants amd night livr

It was a very beautiful and relaxing stay. We had the Senses Suite which came with a jacuzzi and ample room space with living hall, balcony etc. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Everything is good except for the location which was quite far from the beach as the place is located on a hill top. Nevertheless this is compensated with a complimentary shuttle service which goes to Patong beach and shopping mall, Jungceylon. By foot, you will need 15-20 minutes to walk but by car, about 8 minutes. The swimming pool is huge and very beautiful overlooking the sea and town. Overall it was a really good stay.
