Overall a great choice. A small TV, free drinking water, fridge. But no hot water.

The location is great, night market just infront of hotel entrance. Room is clean, aircon not really work well, informed hotel and they got it fixed the next day. Lobby is dark, we were back to hotel around 9pm and its all dark, to save cost maybe. Overall ok, plenty of restaurants and convenient store around.

My family stayed 7 nights at the villa, it was so far so good, except a big surprise when we did checkout today. the front desk lady told me one toilet tissue fabric cover lost, and asked me to sign the paper for the discrepancy. It is a really ridiculous request. I told her she could not do that, and if hotel management requested that, they have to do double thinking. Firstly you did not go through checklist with me when I did check in, secondly how about I tell you I lost my underwear in my room, can you pay me the same? At last, what is the value of a toilet tissue cover? It is non-sense you bring up a challenge like this to customer.

The best room type for my stay this time. The view in the room is really beautiful and highly recommended. However, the water quality is terrible. I was supposed to take a bath, but when the water went down, it turned yellow and I was scared to death. The breakfast was very ordinary, so don’t expect too much, but the location is really good. It's great. It's a one-minute walk to the exchange house for jewelry and a five-minute walk to the night market.

Physical aspect of the property is beautiful and relaxing (lawns, pool, beach and restaurant). However, they don’t have intercom in the rooms so nobody would call if they need anything - secondly, warm water is not available all the time. Thirdly, they have this huge resort and don’t have iron&stand. It’s doesn’t cast much, so it could be carelessness to invest to small things to make the stay better or they want you to pay the laundry to even press the shirt - even 2 star places have irons&stands. Food on their restaurant is very average, not value for money (taste-wise as well as portionsize-wise). I recently stayed at the Movenpick, and while the hotel is nice with a great pool and easy beach access, there are a few areas for improvement. The beach is clean, and the staff at the Aura restaurant are excellent. However, even though we weren’t visiting during peak season, the facilities felt too small. Breakfast was crowded, and we had to wait in line, only to find it cramped inside. The same issue happened with the chocolate hour at 3:30 PM—there wasn’t enough space for everyone. One major issue was the towel reservation situation by the pool. Every day when we arrived around 9 AM, all the lounge chairs were taken, even though no one was using them or the pool. People would leave their towels on chairs at 7 or 8 AM and show up hours later, which is frustrating. It’s disappointing to see so many people sitting on the floor while empty seats remain. I really hope management addresses this, as it’s something I’ve never experienced at other Movenpick resorts. Lastly, the curtain between the bedroom and bathroom doesn’t provide enough privacy, especially when using the toilet. Overall, a nice stay, but these issues could definitely be improved.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The facilities were absolutely top-notch, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning pool—it was huge, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The private beach was just as amazing, with pristine sand and crystal-clear waters. We loved spending our afternoons there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. However, there were a couple of small downsides. The bathroom had a large glass window that made it a bit awkward when showering or using the toilet, as the other person in the room could see in. There was a roller blind for privacy, but unfortunately, it was a bit see-through, which didn’t fully solve the issue. Also, the soundproofing of the room wasn’t great, and we could hear some noise from the corridor. The AC also could have been better, as it wasn’t as powerful as we expected, especially considering the tropical weather. Despite these minor points, our overall experience was fantastic, and I would still highly recommend this hotel I will be back to this hotel the next time I am in Phu Quoc. There is also a lovely night market opposite the hotel which was a nice surprise.

Nice view . Large swimming pool. Has private beach and offer kayaking, beach volleyball activities. Shuttle bus to night market and airport is very convenient. My husband wasn’t feeling well and hotel quickly arranged a doctor to assist. The bath wasn’t cleaned thoroughly.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights during Christmas, and our experience at this family-friendly resort was disappointing. There were not enough beach chairs by the beach and pool—only about 40 available. In such a large resort, it's surprising to encounter this issue. Many guests occupied the chairs early in the morning and then left, indicating poor communication and management. Additionally, there was a chronic shortage of towels by the pool, and the staff by the beach and pool failed to coordinate effectively. We were told to sit on the ground while chairs that had been reserved for over five hours remained unoccupied, which was very disappointing. There were only 1 or 2 staff members responsible for the beach and lifeguarding, and the kayak rental service was disorganized due to insufficient staffing and lack of proper arrangements. Overall, this 5-star family resort did not meet our expectations, and we will not choose to stay here again.

This is a good resort, just off the Grandworld trail. Friends who like nature and tranquility can choose here. The breakfast in the morning is also very diverse and the taste is very authentic. Basically, you can stay here for a whole day. The resort is a little older but very clean. There are bonsai flowers and coconut trees planted around it, and there is a dedicated person cleaning it early in the morning. The Resort provides free shuttle service to the bus station, making it very convenient to go anywhere on Phu Quoc Island. It also provides chartered boats for 1-4 people to go to Turtle Island in 2 hours for a very reasonable and cheap fee. The boss is very nice and can communicate in English. If you like to convey tranquility and feel one with nature, this is a good choice.
