Wonderful place to stay in Palermo, especially if you need to stay close to the train station. Restaurants are few and far between, but the Trattoria Trapane is amazing & a must try. The Mondello beach is only 20 minutes away. We had the double room (rn #1), which was modern, clean and very nice. Highly recommend.

The room was exactly as described. Small but clean and comfortable. Check-in staff spoke no English, but we muffled through perfectly fine.

I'll try to be succinct: reception in a slot room where as soon as you enter there is the smell of smoke. Soundproofed room you hear everything, even the door at the bottom of the stairs when opened. A continuous coming and going of people. Dirty room. Dirty bathroom with various hair and used products. Clogged shower tray. Dirty and worn sheets: ditto bedspread and towels. The mattress was non-existent and very uncomfortable. The bathroom seat is difficult to sit on as close to the furniture. Impossible to move close to the bed for the size. The corner TV does not allow you to easily pass into the bathroom and / or get on the right side of the bed. Booked 3 nights, only stayed 1 because we didn't find anything available that same evening. The cover image shows a nice "9" score and misleads (as happened) those who book. To be avoided

Absolutely unfair the negative reviews that describe it as a place of perdition only because it is located above a slot hall, personally it is not an element that has disturbed us indeed we left the structure at 04 in the morning and we could see that there is also a bouncer at the entrance. Obviously it is located in one of the busiest and most noisy cities in Italy and moreover it is close to the train station so any noises at night are absolutely normal. The room is clean and nice, the staff is kind and you can arrive at any time and it is super convenient for those traveling by train or bus

The negative reviews had initially agitated me but then, as always, I trusted my instincts and I can say I was not wrong. The room is above a slot room where you check in, which is always available. The facility is clean and nice managed by friendly staff. Regarding the dangerousness of the area described, I can say that it is a lively area by day and by night, as can all areas close to stations in large cities.
