Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama

Osaka|0.26km from Nakanoshima Park
It looked like a new hotel and looked clean. The bathroom was also a separate type, which was my criteria, but the bath floor wasn't very clean and there was mold in the corners. I also cleaned the bathroom! But it's more forgivable than the room. The room is full of dust.I wiped it all over with disinfectant wipes. The flooring? It was noticeable that the dirt couldn't be removed from the area, but I didn't feel like cleaning that much so I had to put up with it.I spoke to 4 staff members, 3 at the front desk and 1 at the restaurant, and everyone seemed to be very nice. I was disappointed in the cleaning part. Will my companion have to change rooms midway through? I started saying, but please give me back all the effort I've put in! What will you do! that's enough! I thought there was probably water in the room, but there wasn't.I didn't check this, so maybe the hotel didn't have water in the first place.Or maybe it's the grade of the room? As soon as I left the room to buy a drink, I encountered the cleaning staff. They ignored me even though they saw me. Maybe it was because they did a sloppy cleaning job? Or do you mean that you are an employee of a cleaning company and have nothing to do with the hotel? Well, I don't want you to force me to say hello, so it's fine. I chose the hotel because it had good reviews, so I'm disappointed. I'll just say that I'm a rough and timid person, and I'm not a nervous person at all! It means that I thought it was terrible. Did the problem happen to be the room that was prepared for me? If so, then it's not too bad luck (tears).

The Boly Osaka

Osaka|0.22km from Nakanoshima Park
We recently were in Japan for 2 weeks, and since my husband was at a conference in Osaka for the first several days, we chose the Boly for that time. Wow is all I can say!!! While most of the other people at the conference were stuck in a standard chain hotel, we were luxuriating in a Riverview Suite at the Boly for the same price. The room was absolutely lovely, with every amenity you could need (except an iron--which seems to be something you don't find in a hotel room in Japan, based on everywhere we stayed). The view from our room was so pretty, and it was pure pleasure to spend the mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony enjoying the river breeze. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was large and well-stocked. We had a small fridge, a kitchenette, large desk area, tv, humidifier, A/C, hair dryer, coffee and tea making stuff, pajamas and robes. There was even a washer and dryer for free use (with detergent provided!) just down the hall (although the dryer took about 2 hours per load). We also had a free breakfast in the small cafe next door each morning. It was one of our favorite parts of the day, since the place also had a patio on the river. The hotel has a lovely rooftop area. We looked at it, but never used it, since our private balcony was so nice. It was located in a very convenient location for several subway lines, restaurants and shops. We were sorry to leave--this hotel set a very high standard which was not surpassed by any other place we stayed for the rest of the trip. I would highly recommend it!

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Osaka-Kitahama

There are 3 people at the front desk and 3 automatic payment machines. I was able to check in with plenty of time because I entered early, but I think it took longer than usual due to the procedures and explanations of regional coupons during national travel support. When I looked back, the waiting customers were lined up before I knew it, but they kindly explained it and asked me to answer the questions. I am grateful to the lady at the front desk who was in charge. The room is Hollywood. Twin cleaning was beautiful, so I was relieved. Since it was renewed, the equipment is new. A wide table that can be expanded and work with a PC Semi-separated (by bath and toilet) ← This is the first condition when deciding a hotel. I thought there was a washroom and I wanted it, but shampoos are placed on the edge of the bathtub. There is no shelf in the shower, no chairs and tubs. When used on the floor they said it was hard to use. I don't have a laundry hook, and I put it in a gap next to the bathtub, such as a towel, a brush, or a shower, and I wondered if there was such a place until now. Anyway, the bath is difficult to use. I thought, but I got a lot of delicious food at breakfast ^^ Is there a place where Chawanmushi is served for breakfast? I was disappointed that the dashi roll I was looking forward to was a time-consuming item or a date. It was good enough to search for a shop after I got home. Most of the ”Shokusai Kenmi Nono Grape” branches? It's also in the hotel. I'm thinking about choosing the next hotel. The staff 々 all felt good. The breakfast venue was good here. Thank you.

Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama

This hotel was the best I stayed in while I was in Japan. The room was quite spacious, had a proper wardrobe (not just hangers), a safe that was built in the desk and a small fridge. The bathroom had a decent size, it had a separate bath and a shower. The bed was a little bit hard for me but that's just personal preference. I still had very good two nights' sleep there. The lobby was nice and the staff were very friendly and they all spoke English. Bottled water was provided in the lobby. Check in was smooth and effective, check out was even faster. They let me store my luggage after checking out which was great, so I could max out my time in Osaka without worrying about my luggages. 7eleven was literally accross the street. The hotel was located only a few min walk from different metro/train stations, it was very easy to get there and going to different locations by public transport. If I go back to Osaka, I will definitely stay at Hotel Brighton City Osaka.

Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Environment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hygiene: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The hotel is about 10 minutes from the subway station. But there is a convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient! For a hot spring hotel, not bad! After 9:30 pm, there are free ramen and massage chairs on the second floor. The lounge on the 13th floor also provides free ice cream and comics.

More about Osaka

Introduction to Osaka

Osaka, Japan's third-largest city, is a dynamic metropolis known for its modern architecture, lively nightlife, and hearty street food culture. It is located in the Kansai region on the main island of Honshu. Osaka's friendly locals and a myriad of attractions, including historic landmarks, theme parks, and shopping districts, provide a compelling contrast to Tokyo's hustle and bustle.

Tips for Travelling to Osaka

Osaka is served by two airports: Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport, with Kansai being the primary gateway for international travelers. The city has an excellent public transportation system, including JR trains, subways, and buses. Japan's famous bullet trains also connect Osaka with other major cities.

The official currency is the Japanese Yen (JPY), and while credit cards are widely accepted, it's worth carrying some cash for smaller establishments. The official language is Japanese, and while English is not commonly spoken by older locals, younger generations and service staff at tourist attractions usually have a good understanding.

Visa requirements for Japan vary depending on your country of origin, so always check in advance. Many countries enjoy visa-free access for short-term visits.

Popular Attractions in Osaka

Dotonbori is Osaka's entertainment heart, with its iconic Glico Man sign, an array of restaurants, and exciting street performances. A visit to Osaka Castle, one of Japan's most famous landmarks, is essential.

Universal Studios Japan, a popular theme park featuring Harry Potter World, is a favorite among families. Explore the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of the largest public aquariums in the world, or shop 'til you drop in the Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade.

Weather, Best Time to Visit, and What to Wear

Osaka experiences four distinct seasons. The spring (March-May) and fall (September-November) are the best times to visit, with pleasant temperatures and beautiful cherry blossoms or fall colors. Summers can be hot and humid, while winters are mild but chilly. Depending on the season of your visit, pack accordingly - light, breathable clothing for summer, and warm layers for winter.
