A beautiful place that exceeded my expectations. The kids loved the water playground. The restaurant and the breakfast were of an excellent standard. Staff very kind and helpful (a very competent member of the staff supported our staying communicating in English). I suggest to check the deals in advance because the hot spring -water and inside playground may require an entrance ticket depending on the deal you book. (Entrance 150rmb/person). Hot spring in the evening are peaceful and pleasant. We could also fish and nearby there are nice restaurants options available and very beautiful walk/bicycle rides. Very green environment. The outside swimming pool is relatively small but pleasant. We’ll definitely come back.

The resort and room are beautiful. We went for 1 night just to use the pool. The pool was lovely and huge. I was shocked how cold the air conditioner in the room was because it was so hot outside. This made me so happy. We rented a golf cart to ride around for 80 rmb for 30 minutes. That was fun. The room was great and bathroom was the biggest I have ever seen. It was a nice weekend but honestly I wouldn’t return. You can only spend so much time in the pool and there is nothing else to do around the hotel. If you like sitting in nature and reading a book or meditating you will love the place.

It's an average area with only one lake and a few black swans. It's quite friendly. There's a nice cafe where you can go and sit when the weather is nice. The coffee tastes great and the transportation around the hotel is okay. It’s convenient. You won’t have to wait too long to call a taxi. The Hanling Old Street 1 kilometer away is very lively and has a lot of food. However, after trying the restaurant, the price is not cheap. Without ordering, 5 dishes are available. About 320 yuan. Finally, I would like to commend the little girl ”Yu Menghui” for her dedicated work attitude. Young people must be recognized for being so down-to-earth and loving their work. It has established a good image for the hotel and at least made our couple feel very warm during our vacation.

mixed review. some really excellent points and then some real improvement needed too. excellent: the food and beverage manager and restaurant staff were always friendly and the food was excellent (though I think the price of a beverages is outrageous). the Thai curry is highly recommended. the pools and spa pools are great the room is nice and the whole building is beautiful. a birthday cake and card to celebrate was very special and thoughtful. to improve: the cocktails we're awful each time we tried a new one...the ingredients were listed but not all present in the drink the check in and checkout - first and last impressions need to be improved. check in we didn't receive a friendly smile to guide us to the counter, check out was a long queue during the busy time, more shuttle cars are required, we had several 20-30minutes wait times and guests act a bit silly and selfish, pushing to get on the shuttle bus even when families with small children where waiting longer. it was 40degrees Celsius so walking was not a safe option. I had to call three times to get housekeeping on the first day and was told usually housekeeping only come every second day, which doesn't make sense. I don't need my bed made or towels changed, but I do need the trash removed daily. a bit of a strange policy for a pretty expensive hotel. the play are for kids is nice and the staff are generally friendly and patient. very mixed review I'm afraid.

This is a very pleasant little bed and breakfast located on the southern end of Dongqian Lake and in the tourist village Hanling. We stayed there for a weekend getaway. The accommodation we booked had two floors: the groundfloor had a sofa and a huge television (it's capable mobile phone broadcasting!) and the top floor featured a good size double bed and a balcony which I enjoyed sitting in when the sun sets. The rooms are clean and you get the usual amenities. So it's a fine place. I would recommend two improvements: the first is to have stronger aircon on the top floor to keep the room cool (albeit it was 40C outside!); and secondly but most importantly would be to install a bathroom door for some privacy otherwise your room mate is going to see you using the toilet!

This is a newly opened hotel with a very good location. As a Dongqian Lake person, I usually drive by and always look back. I booked two nights and could see Dongqian Lake directly through the window. I booked a lake view room. When I consulted the hotel, I was told that the lake view room only had a 2-meter bed. Since we are a family of three (the child is 7 years old), I booked an extra crib. Unexpectedly, after the guest arrived, he made it clear that he did not need an extra bed. It was already past 10 o'clock at night. The extra bed was cancelled, but the bed was not removed. When checking out, I found that the extra breakfast coupon for the extra bed had been used (the child was just over 1.2 meters tall). After explaining the situation, no extra bed fee was charged, nor was the booked extra bed breakfast fee. Very personal service. Absolute five-star service!

The location is superb, just at the entrance of Hanling Old Street, across the street from Hanling Art Museum and Dongqian Lake. There are dedicated parking spaces and there is no charge. In short very satisfied!
