The hotel's location is excellent, right by Dongqian Lake. Across the road is the Shili Sixiang scenic area, and Qianhu Mijng is less than a kilometer's walk away. Although the hotel doesn't offer direct lake views, the surroundings are still very pleasant. This time, they even upgraded our room for free! While the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's very tasty, and there's plenty of seating. Even during peak times like Sunday mornings, you won't have to wait for a table, unlike some other resort hotels.

A Mountain and Lake Retreat, Sleeping by the Spring at Junlan Hotel Leaving the city's hustle behind, softened by the gentle breeze from Dongqian Lake, our group of six arrived at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Ningbo Dongqian Lake. Here, nestled in a hidden mountain and forest sanctuary, we stole a night of tranquil escape. The hotel stands quietly on a corner of Huanhu East Road, hidden amidst lush greenery. Stepping through the doors, you're greeted by verdant vistas. We checked into six Tianyin Mountain View King Rooms, which felt like elegant small lodges scattered through the mountains. Opening the window, lush green mountains greeted us, and a refreshing greenness filled the air. In the morning, the warm sunlight streamed into the room through the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, and the scent of plants lingered in the air. The elegant Chinese decor, soft bedding, and thoughtful smart bathroom details helped us shed the fatigue of travel, instantly bringing a sense of calm and relaxation. The most impressive feature was the Half-Mountain Hot Spring, nestled deep in the mountains. Eighteen outdoor hot springs are nestled into the hillside, hidden among bamboo groves. The natural fluoride spring water, sourced from the rock layers of Changleli Mountain, is warm and clear. Immersed in the steamy mist, listening to the mountain breeze and bird song, and watching the shifting cloud shadows over the mountains, all worries and fatigue melted away. As night fell, the reflections of trees and lights danced on the water, and looking up at the twinkling stars, we were completely enveloped in the blissful experience of bathing in mountain springs and embracing the lake and mountains. Though it was a brief stay, it was enough to rejuvenate both body and mind. We strolled along the forest paths, enjoying the sparkling waters of Dongqian Lake; we chatted and laughed with dear friends; and in the morning, we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast accompanied by the mountain breeze. The hotel service was gentle and thoughtful, meticulous and warm, making us feel at ease and cared for. One night at Junlan, an unforgettable lifetime experience. This short stay embraced the refreshing breeze of the lake and mountains and the leisurely whispers of the springs. The beauty of Dongqian Lake, the tranquility of the mountains, the warmth of the hot springs, and the gentle hospitality of Junlan combined to create a healing and precious encounter with nature, making the most of spring and our meeting.

This hotel is located by Dongqian Lake, very close to Qianhu Secret Land, and the overall foot traffic is low, making for a great experience. The rooms are clean and tidy, the service is excellent, and they even offered free afternoon tea.

1. The main advantage of the hillside rooms is the private hot spring. Other facilities, however, are quite a step down from the main Junlan building. The amenities are pretty old, and the bathroom design is poorly thought out—no mirror above the sink and no hooks or racks for towels. It fell short of my expectations. 2. The hotel lacks a kids' club, and the outdoor facilities aren't designed with families in mind, making it unsuitable for guests with children. Plus, the outdoor farm and other areas are really old, run-down, and poorly maintained. 3. Breakfast was just average, nothing special. 4. There was no butler service, and everything was just standard. They even asked for a good review, but honestly, I didn't experience any exceptional service. 5. Overall, the experience was quite mediocre. Especially the first few hillside rooms, which lack a balcony and a sofa, are very small and offer poor value for money.

The service was exceptional, and the hotel's location is great. We stayed in a villa with a small courtyard, and the room was spacious with excellent amenities. There aren't many hot spring pools, but the breakfast selection is quite rich. I'd suggest adding another coffee machine, as there's always a queue for coffee in the mornings. The Shanshui No. 1 restaurant right outside is also very good, with a wide variety of delicious dishes.

I came here for the hot springs on the third day of Chinese New Year. A week before, a room attendant added me on WeChat, and the service was excellent and very thoughtful. My room was in the main building, and the restaurant was on the second floor, both very convenient. There's a shuttle bus to take you to the hot springs. The only issue was that the air conditioning in the room was too warm; I had to open the window and sliding door for ventilation.

Super satisfied! The front desk staff are lovely and respond instantly on WeChat if you need anything. Facilities: The hotel's Chinese New Year activities were very unique; the kids loved the fish lantern parade every night. Environment: Right next to Qianhu Secret, with stunning lake and mountain views. Junlan Banshan Hot Springs ticket: There's even ginger tea on the first floor of the hot springs, which is a thoughtful touch.

Staying at Dongqian Lake for vacation, the room was very comfortable, new, and came with a loft, which made for a pleasant stay. We happened to visit when temperatures were low, but the floor heating kept the room very warm, not cold at all, and the hot springs were also great.
