Me, my husband and my friend got in a Tom which has two kings bed. The room is so spacious and with comfy mattress, pillow. The hotel is very nice that allow us check in early as 9am, we were so happy by that. Besides, this hotel could keep our stuff a day long after we did the check out. Generally, the hotel is better than we though, really recommend this hotel for everyone. :)

We tried the ROYALTON because we were looking for a place in NYC with an outdoor swimming pool. And the pool did not disappoint! However the real highlight was the ROYAL treatment the lead concierge Erik gave to my kids - one of whom was starting college in NYC. Erik went totally above and beyond, planning in advance and leaving great gifts (totally spot on!) for them in the room. It was amazing and better service than I’ve had at comparable or even more luxe hotels. I also loved that I could text the front desk for assistance. Can’t say enough good think about Erik! Highly recommended. Especially great I think in summer to enjoy the pool. Unfortunately I ended up getting sick while in NYC so we couldn’t even try the restaurant but we will when we return!

The hotel is very new and the environment is very good. The service staff is also very polite. Every time you go downstairs or go back, you will greet you. When you check in, you swipe the deposit and directly swipe my room fee for six nights. The hotel said that the machine was broken and the brush was wrong, so I returned it. I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 and checked in at 4:30. The standard check-in time is 4:00. Even if it arrived at 4:00, it was still delayed for half an hour. The reason the front desk gave me was that the suite is relatively large and needs to be cleaned relatively slowly. It is 40 square meters How big is the room? I'm also drunk for this reason, but it has nothing to do with the front desk. The cleaners are slow to clean, and the coordination in all aspects of logistics is very poor. Spacious accommodations. Separate living room with wide screen television. Another television in the bedroom. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Small yet adequate bathroom, single sink, toilet is not separated by a door. Plush robes. Slippers. Conveniently located within walking distance from Times Square, Theatre’s, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, Central Park, Shopping ,etc. Surprisingly Quiet given location.
 Lots of delicious dining options at various price points nearby. While the turn down service with water and chocolates bedside was a nice touch, we only received it on 1 of our 4 nights. Elevators do not require key card access for added security. There is security personnel standing near but they are not always there. Valet service inconsistent. Limited In Room Dining options.

The room is small and cannot accommodate an extra bed. The location is excellent, and the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Ground Zero and other attractions are within walking distance; the subway station has Fulton Station, and the Municipal Park can take the Park Station on Lines 2 and 3. There are slippers and an electric kettle can ask the front desk. The downstairs bar is good. There are many places to buy breakfast around the hotel, and there is a supermarket to buy fruit drinks.

Our visit brought us to the Even Hotel Brooklyn for a convention. We could not have been more satisfied. Everyone of the staff that we encountered was friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We loved the room. Perfect for getting work done with the stand up desk and ample outlets and ports. The whiteboard is a super touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom appointments were sensational. It was fantastic to be able to do a mini work out in the room each day with the aid of stretch bands and a ball. Parking was available overnight on the street by the hotel. Parking lot was not needed. THANK YOU to Cris in housekeeping for getting a piece of luggage returned that was accidentally left in the room. We had it back within 2 1/2 days of realizing that it never made it to the car. We can't wait to come back.

First impressions were positive - nice cool quiet lobby, seated check in and friendly staff. Despite my 11.30 am arrival, I was quickly checked in, but not before being informed that I was liable for a further USD 34 ”facility fee” which included cocktail hour, continental breakfast and Wi-Fi. This practice is a new and unfortunate way for hotels to charge customers extra while avoiding adding to the room rate. My fault for not having read the fine print, however, in this day and age when ALL hotels offer free WiFi, to say that it's covered by the facility fee is simply disingenuous. Further, in a city like New York with its plentiful dining options, charging guests for breakfast is simply a way of forcing customers to pay for a service which otherwise would not be required. I arrived at my room (721) to be greeted by a strong body odour which is common to Indian people. Air-conditioning was noisy and rattling, but I chose to ignore this as the hotel is clearly quite old, as evidenced by the retro fitting of the bathroom and the bedroom furniture and fittings. To be fair, the room (an entry-level ”Premier Queen”) was very spacious, with a 2 seater sofa beside the floor-to-ceiling windows and a queen-sized bed. Wifi was free and fast. I rang the Operator to ask a few questions and was addressed as ”buddy”, which I felt to be overly casual and inappropriate. On another occasion, one of the female recepionists was chewing gum openly when on duty - again, I wonder about the training and professional standards. The continental breakfast ”included” in the above-mentioned facility fee was acceptable in terms of variety and quality, if one could find a seat. The facility comprised several sofas groupted around low coffee tables, and several high-top tables and chairs. The seating capacity was clearly inadequate, judging by the queue of guests waiting for seats. For the price paid, I cannot complaint about the value, but I would not return to this property until a refurbishment has taken place.

The hotel is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan. It is about 3-5 minutes walk from the subway station, about 10 minutes walk from Fifth Avenue, and about 15 minutes walk from St.Patrick Cathedral. There are many delicious restaurants around : Japanese, Western and Chinese. The hotel is not very big and very welcoming. The front desk staff is very welcoming. The hotel rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, there are coffee makers and kettles in the room, and there are troublesome all kinds of coffee, hot chocolate and tea in the lobby. Breakfast was not included in this reservation, so it was not possible to comment. The hotel has underground parking but charges apply. I will stay next time I go to Manhattan and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Not bad, it feels like the domestic all-season grade, but the quilt is a bit strange, each layer of the three-layer quilt is thin and separated when sleeping. Breakfast is on the sc floor, because the epidemic is of a take away nature. You can take as much as you like, such as bread, juice, coffee, and fruit, which is very monotonous. The only advantage is that the location is very close to where I am going, the exhaust ducts are very noisy when I go to bed at night, and there is low frequency vibration with my ears against the pillow. Security is quite safe. Although I need to swipe the card to enter the elevator room is not very sensitive, the elevator also experienced an accident. It was taken to the top floor without showing the specific floor. It scared me to go back to the room by the stairs. That's it, the advantage is location.

Though the connecting roads (Washington Street & Rector Street) are too narrow and too busy with huge traffics, on foot it was easy to move anywhere. Rooms were a bit compact and room service policy of the hotel are truly pity. But staffs were very much attentive and supportive.

First of all, the location is very good, close to the subway, milk tea shop, Korean barbecue shop and Nutcracker music restaurant are similar to those in China, and the taste is good. The lobby of the hotel is beautiful. The lobby is very good for the price in Manhattan. The rooms are not small. The staff will greet you in the corridors and are very friendly. There is a Korean supermarket opposite downstairs, which has everything, and there are Macy's and target within a few minutes' walk. Next time I have a chance, I will choose here again.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Times Square. Plenty of food and shopping options around. I wasn’t too impress by the hotel. First of all, we had to queue for quite a while before we can check into our room. The room was quite small and comes with all the standard amenities. The air conditioning wasn’t working well. So it can get rather stuffy in the room. Please fix this issue ASAP. I also had a package delivered to the hotel. But I wasn’t able to collect it due to delays in the delivery. I have been trying to reach out to the hotel (via email and calls) but nothing was done to return my package to the merchant. This issue is still ongoing as of today 9th October 2022. The service is really poor. I highly do not recommend this hotel.

The New York Hilton Midtown is my favorite place to stay in the city. The location, food at the Herb-N Kitchen (I haven’t tried the Lobby Lounge) and the service throughout the hotel are wonderful. This place is the New Yorkiest of Manhattan hotels, with lots of international visitors at all times. The elevators are fast, the gym is clean and convenient, and the bellcaps outside will help you get a taxi anytime. There are plenty of restaurants and stores all around the area. The windows open a bit, which is a nice perk in the time of airborne illnesses. It is one of the most comfortable places to stay for me in New York — love it.

First time trip to New York overnight. The hotel was located well, and close to the places I needed to visit. Inside, it is certainly dated and dark. The lobby area was clean, and the staff very helpful and courteous. We got stuck in the elevators twice while there, and they seem very outdated. One of them kept stopping and ”re-booting” according to the screen inside. It certainly wasn't the best feeling to be stopped 40 floors up in an elevator that seemed quite old and made plenty of groans and squeaks as it traveled up and down. We didn't eat at the hotel, but opted to walk to Gallagher's near Times Square. A short walk for one of the best steak dinners I have ever enjoyed. The room itself looked nothing like the photos online showing bright and roomy features. It was a very small ”Deluxe king” with no real view. The wallpaper was coming off of the walls in many places. There were holes in the furniture and some small holes in the walls. Nothing horrible, but not what I was expecting of this 4 star hotel either. The carpet was thin and worn. The individual air conditioner control in the room was set on 65 degrees but I am sure it was closer to 85 degrees in the room. Thank goodness the windows could be cracked open a few inches, and despite temperatures over 75 degrees outside, the room did cool down some with them open. We had to sleep while listening to the street noise, but at least we were sweating less. The bed was probably as hard as any I've ever slept on. Very uncomfortable. Between that and the heat, we had a very restless night. The price I paid for the room was excellent compared to most other hotels in the area. It is very true that you get what you pay for in this case. The hotel and room served their purpose for the night, but when I do have to travel to New York again, I will be paying more to stay somewhere a little more updated and comfortable.

Stayed for three nights. Our room was small and had an odd shape. Bed sheets and covers were very dirty, pillows not comfortable at all. Carpet could also use a deep clean. No mini fridge in the room. Wifi kept disconnecting all the time. Be prepared to wait at least 10/15 minutes for the elevator. This is a 29 story hotel that only has three elevators shared by guests + staff. During our stay, one of the three elevators was not working and another one had an issue with the buttons. Would not stay again.

Let me talk about the advantages first: the front desk is friendly, and the traffic problem attractions are enthusiastic to answer and help search. The elevator can be swiped to press the floor, and the security is there. Many places can be reached by subway station, but it takes 8 minutes to walk to the subway station. The Empire State Building is within walking distance and there is a bus to the airport nearby. Disadvantages: downtown but the sound insulation of the windows is very poor, sleeping at night is like lying in the middle of the road. The facilities are old, there is no hot water bottle there is a coffee machine. The sheets were not clean, and it took a long time for someone to send the sheets up and told them that the front desk would not change the sheets and ask us to change them ourselves. Trip.com error: The two double bed rooms originally booked were given to us. When we arrived, we gave us a big bed room. Go downstairs and change the front desk to look at us as fools, saying that we set this. When I asked Trip.com, I found that they had booked the wrong one. At first it was said that I would not add money to book two beds if I had a difference price. Then I added 200 rmb more... One person 100 really send a flower. We still hope to live in a room with two beds, so we asked Trip.com to continue looking for it. As a result, we both went out and started eating. He called and said that he could change it. The difference does not need us to make up, but today and the two-day resort fee there is for us to give it ourselves. And we have to take a taxi from the hotel we stayed in. In the afternoon, we have to go to the Metropolitan Museum and have no time to toss and have to accept the difference +200. This unfortunate choice! I have used Trip.com so many times or booked me the wrong room for the first time! I hope I won't make this low-level mistake again in the future, OK?

we stayed at the edison hotel and it was awesome. service great rooms clean and location perfect. breakfast was good fyi coffee was so good on a brisk morning. we were there for bravocon and my husband bday. so it was a special wee and the hotel did a great job. even to get a cab or uber the staff was so helpful. we never had a problem with anything. even security to get to room was good made us feel a little safer. everyone always had smiles and so helpful. never really had to wait because there was a enough staff which is so unusual because everyone is under staffed. i recommend this hotel they make you feel welcome and at home. the location is awesome especially for going to the theater and walking to anything. i give it a 10 plus

The West Side YMCA is definitely a no frills place to stay, but the location is excellent. You're right next to Central Park and Columbus Circle. Times Square is an easy walk south. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first had a bunk bed and was quite small, but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It also had a small TV and fridge. We had a semi-private bathroom, which was down the hall. This meant we had to scan our key on one of the bathroom doors to get in, but once inside we had privacy while we got cleaned up. The bathrooms were kept clean and tidy. We were able to upgrade the second half of our stay to a room with a larger bed and an in room bathroom. Again, this hotel is no frills. It can be rough around the edges, but it's clean and comfortable at the end of a long day of sightseeing. We did not have time to take advantage of the gym, the pool, the sauna, and stuff like that, but they looked nice. I'd recommend the West Side YMCA. If you're visiting NYC, you should be out doing stuff, not sitting around the room. It was everything we needed it to be.

Holiday Inn, 6th Avenue, Manhattan We are a much travelled family and have used Holiday Inn many times in different cities worldwide. It was a brand that we, as a family, had confidence in. The accommodation was as expected and the cleaning staff should be praised. However, we were bemused by the demeanour of the other staff – front of house and in particular, breakfast staff. We could only conclude that Holiday Inn had given work experience to people from other backgrounds who had no experience of interacting with the public or serving at tables. We took a while to check in, the young man with headphones in, couldn’t find our reservation. There was no apology and, crucially, no explanation as to how the unique breakfast system worked. We found the breakfast room the following morning, eventually a young man came, we thought that he may normally have been a plasterer or welder trying out this new job, and told us that we needed a voucher from behind the reception desk to access breakfast. This voucher allowed us one item off the menu – any additional item such as orange juice had to be paid for. It was not permitted to pick up vouchers for my two sons or to pick up vouchers in advance for the next two days. The ritual of picking up the daily voucher was bizarre! Each morning was a transatlantic scene from Faulty Towers and proved to be a most memorable experience for all the wrong reasons. We had an amazing time in New York and had so many fantastic experiences of superb hospitality and service; the antithesis of our experience at the hotel. The location of the hotel was excellent

I’ve stayed at Sixty several times, it’s in a great location, rooms are good and hotel has a cool boutique vibe, great lobby bar and roof top bar…a lot to like. What I missed on this trip was being welcomed by the concierge, smartly dressed in their heavy knitted cardigans, opening the door and helping with your bags. Instead the ground floor reception was empty and lacking something. I struggled with the luggage for myself and my daughters who I travelled with. I took my bags up the flight of stairs to the lobby. The stair carpet was worn at the edges and the rail was a bit tacky, it all just looked a bit unloved. The reception guys were helpful enough but it really didn’t seem as special as our previous trips. My room was also a little tired looking too and the fridge wasn’t re-stocked during the stay either. All first world problems but charge $3600 for three nights stay and you got to bring that special something else this hotel will stay off the short list.

The closest hotel to the main campus of New York University. Going out is Washington Square Park. If you want to book a twin room, it may be a mistake, and you have booked a big bed room. After entering the room, I told the front desk that the front desk was very helpful and free to upgrade and upgrade to a room with a view. The black welcoming uncle in the lobby is very cute, happy every day, and very enthusiastic. The room is small but fully equipped. The beds are small, each only 90cm. Surprisingly, there are even disposable slippers. One day I came back and found that the smoke detector was always ringing. The hotel quickly arranged for people to come and replace it. No tipping, saying not necessary - Americans should be very principled when it is time to collect tips. the staff was amazing and really friendly. the hotel is within walking distance to hip neighborhoods and shopping district. great bakery next door too! my only gripe is they’re charging high rates for an outdated hotel. everything smells musty and the curtains couldn’t be drawn properly - it’s small thing like this that make a difference when you’re paying rates like $500-600 a night. do better, standard. or are you, low standard?

This was such an awesome place to stay. We didn’t even have to leave the hotel to have a NYC experience. As 2 women, we felt SAFE, the room was super clean, updated, and trendy. The hotel and hotel staff was warm and welcoming. Mac Ward (the hotel manager) helped us with our stay and itinerary and we’re SO GRATEFUL FOR HIM!!!!!!! We had dinner at hotel restaurant, Cathedrale, and the food and service went above our expectations. The rooftop bar is beautiful, and the drinks were amazing! Cannot wait to do another girls trip here! Thank you so much to the Moxy and Mac!!

The Caryle is one of those hotels of quality without having to be a show off. Much as comparing a Bently to a Rolls. I should know as growing up in Pebble Beach we had both. Grandfather by name was S.F.B. Morse owner of Pebble Beach and related to the telegraph inventor. The Caryle will forever be linked to my father. Ask for me, John Kennedy.

A hidden gem on the Upper East side! Very friendly & welcoming staff, charming updated rooms and awesome location near Central Park & Met. We loved being on a relatively quiet residential street. We had read reviews about the rooms being small and they are quite small but we were able to make our bags/luggage work. The good news is if you are doing a trip to NYC right, you aren’t in your room except to sleep at night! We were gone all day most days walking around the city. The rooms have been very nicely updated with great finishes while keeping the old history. charm. The beds are very comfortable too. We stayed 5 nights & enjoyed our stay at this hotel immensely! We hated to leave but are looking forward to our next visit at the Frankin! Tips: 1) pack on the light side- there is ample space for hanging clothes but avoid large suitcases if you can as floor space is limited. 2) if you drive a large oversized vehicle, be aware that the adjacent parking garage might not be able to accommodate. We drove our Dodge Ram truck and it was too long for their elevator so we had to park about 1 1/2 blocks away (but that garage was very accommodating .) Otherwise, the adjacent garage is super nice and really convenient! 3) make sure to enjoy a breakfast/lunch at the Bocado Cafe on the corner of Lexington and 87th. Delicious food and great service. We ate 2 lunches there and were very pleased- super convenient too! 4) Starbucks and Whole Foods are just down the street as well The hotel staff was FABULOUS! We were greeted so warmly at check in and treated to delicious cookies & water bottles. The staff goes out of their way to treat you like family during your stay and were so accommodating to our every need. Can’t say enough good things about our stay. It’s a unique property with so many positives! We will definitely be lifelong Franklin Hotel patrons bc we love this part of the city and the charm of this wonderful property!

Arrived at the hotel early and we were fortunate enough that our room was ready. WOW the room was so spacious, especially by NYC standards. There were 2 double beds, a sofa a small dining area and a separate kitchen. Everthing was very clean and tidy. The bathroom is a nice size and the shower was really good. It is on a quiet street, you do here some noise, but it is NYC after all! I would recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't want to stay in a shoebox room! This will be the only place in future that I will stay when in NYC.

I was born and raised in New York and often passed by the Sherry-Netherland but never had occasion to stay there. Now that I'm a New York visitor, I have stayed at many city hotels and had guest experiences that ranked from excellent to how-are-they-still-in-business? So you see, I have a very solid basis for saying that the Sherry-Netherland really does rank among the best-of-the-best and then some. From the moment I reserved a room through checkout, the Sherry-Netherland experience was flawless. At every turn we were met with great service and felt truly welcomed. We stayed in one of the older interior rooms, but still enjoyed lots of daylight and a fine view. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. (I really appreciated having such a BIG bathtub, something you find all too seldom in city hotels now.) Cleanliness was perfect and the room was serviced twice daily. We were welcomed with candy, fresh flowers, and a mini-fridge well stocked with a generous assortment of complimentary sodas and mineral water, both sparkling and still. The basket of grooming amenities was overflowing and included everything we could have wanted and then some. (Molton Brown shampoo, conditioner and more? Yes, please!) Lovely bathrobes and slippers, too. Wi-Fi was all we could wish, with never a problem. A daily newspaper was delivered to our door promptly every morning. And at every turn, we encountered such friendliness from the staff that we couldn't help smiling. (The elevators are staffed by operators, which is a lovely touch.) We are already planning our return.

As a hotel choice near the airport, I think it is very good. Clean, everything that should be there. You can order the hotel’s meal and it will be delivered directly to the door. It’s hard to say how it tastes, but it’s good to deliver it to the door. The airport shuttle bus is very convenient. It runs every half an hour. Just go to the front desk to talk about it five minutes in advance.

At the beginning, I was afraid of noisy on the second floor (actually soundproofed). The hotel helped me to switch to a 12-room room with a balcony. Finally, when checking out, the average weekly service tax of about 20 knives is collected every day.

However, the service of the restaurant electric lemon was really bad. When the breakfast was taken, the waiter gave the menu and left. No one came to ask for coffee or tea. After a few minutes to prepare the order, I couldn't find the waiter ... … Finally stopped a waiter passing by, I said I was ready to order, and she was still unhappy to ask me Are we in a rush? (Is it in a hurry?) This attitude and tone really made me doubt myself Not a five-star hotel.
