The facade on the first floor is actually a BAR, the front desk is hidden in the corner, and the elevator is even narrower. Arriving in New York at night, I walked around the building twice to confirm that this is the hotel entrance. After going upstairs, the corridor is narrow and surrounded by dense rooms on both sides, and the room is even narrower and compact when entering the room. It is very similar to a budget hotel, and it has nothing to do with a four-star hotel. The room facilities are simplified to the extreme. There is no refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine or other facilities, no wardrobe, only a few hangers on the wall, and the desk is a foldable desk-sized table. Because the room faces the inner side, there is no city view. Compared with other cities, housing prices are quite expensive. It seems that this is the consumption in New York.

The most expensive room in this area, but it's also very narrow, and the indoor facilities are okay. Maybe you just came from Washington. The same price, the hotel has a big gap, but it's a little worse than China's Samsung Business Hotel

Room was tiny which is to be expected in NYC. The storage under the bed was nice. It felt like the bathroom/shower area ate up the whole room, and it took 24 hours to realize there was a light switch for the bathroom mirror so I could adjust the lights to only have the bed sconces on while watching tv at night. Mostly I’m disappointed that I paid extra for a city view and my view was of a courtyard. But other reviews complained about the noise and I didn’t have issues with that (on the 7th floor) despite my visit falling over a weekend. The elevator process was cool and the elevators themselves were fast. It was a cold and snowy weekend so it was nice they have a door guy at this hotel! The lobby area was really well designed - nice and funky.

The property is new, just opened in October. It’s in a great location, walkable to LES, SoHo, little Italy, and Chinatown with close access to the subway. Cons were the bathroom wasn’t clean when we went up to the room. The toilet had hair and was unflushed. Another inconvenience was the elevator that required a keycard scan to go up to the room. When we arrived, access wasn’t available to our floor, and we had to wait for maintenance to fix.

Hip hotel with 2 bars, piano lounge. Connected to high end Japanese restaurant in walking distance to SoHo, Little Italy and Chinatown. Near 2 subway stations.
