Hotel is right off the ststion catwalk and while a bit dated, the crew runs a tight ship and keeps it spotless.

It was located in front of the station and there was a supermarket nearby, so it was very convenient.
The rooms were clean and it was a perfect hotel for an overnight stay.

We used this hotel to go to Ghibli Park.
We travelled by car and didn't use the train, but I thought it was very conveniently located as the station was close by.
We stayed there with a 2-year-old child, and the staff were very kind and spoke to us, so we were glad that we had a comfortable stay from start to finish.
The room, bathroom, and toilet were clean, and for breakfast we had a buffet of fruit, Western and Japanese food as well as pancakes that could be ordered, so our child was able to eat a lot.
It was night so it was difficult to find the parking lot, but once we looked carefully at the signs it was fine.
It was only about 30 minutes to Ghibli Park using the highway, so we'd like to use this hotel again when we go there.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and in some rooms the carpets are dirty, and when I use the bed, the smell of the carpet is noticeable. Last time (last October), I was given a room on a higher floor, and the room didn't seem particularly dirty, but this time I was given a room on a lower floor. The carpet was dirty, the carpet was poorly cleaned up after being cut and pasted, the smell, the wallpaper was dirty, and what surprised me most was that pajamas were placed on the foot cover (bed throw) on the bed. Just to be safe, I asked them to change the pajamas before using them. The hotel is in front of the station, so it's conveniently located, though.
